Oof, been awhile since I've updated this. 93 Mining: 30M Firemaking Experience: 103 Dungeoneering: 87 Smithing: 300M Total Experience: 75M Cooking: Been getting a lot of over-exping in lately, finally got up to 300M Total. I'm so used to being in the 200s, it looks weird to be in the 300s now :P Ended up getting the Smithing level just because I was pretty close to a level (under 200K till) thanks to all the Dungeoneering I have been doing. I think I'll be going back to Mining after this, and slowly work my way towards 99. Have really lost all motivation to do it, but unfortunately Superheating is still terrible profit, and I've had my fill of DG for the time being. Not sure how much play time I'll have the next few weeks, I think i'll be pretty busy. More then halfway now 8-) Thanks Tna :) and I'll try my best :(

I don't usually post here, but thought it might be time I throw in my hat. Two 3 or Not 2 Three: I'm afraid more then anything, this reads as some one trying to pass off their opinion as a solid fact. Not saying there aren't some valid points presented, but it all adds up basically to a negative listing of game attributes based on his views coming to an opinion based "Winner". More then anything, this article comes across to me as some one who is very unhappy with the entire game, and doing their best to make sure that others feel the same way. I would have to disagree with pretty much every "Winner" statement. I found it a very disappointing read. The Sixth Age - The Age Of You An interesting read, it is definitely what Jagex is promising the players. Only time will tell if that's what it actually shapes up to be.

For those of you who noticed our servers were down for a few hours today, I wrote all about it here on this thread. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. A big thank you to everyone who has checked out and joined our Forums, really appreciate it :) Medieval Kid mentioned last week that we would be introducing some new skiller content to the site, as well as a new list. Essentially we will be hosting our own Top 50 F2P Skiller List. I was undecided as to whether or not we should host such a thing since there is another out there, but it was pointed out to me that there are in fact at least Two other Skiller Lists out there already anyways (Nose's, and Melvl138's). In an effort to make Purefreetoplay a more thorough F2P fansite, it seems a natural step. The list was created & will be maintained by LogOnBeach (Correct), and will be improved upon in the coming weeks. The Skiller list will be updated at the same time as the 250 Lists (once a week, every Sunday) and submissions for it can be sent to the same email account ([email protected]), the Tip.it Thread, or our own thread on our Forums set aside specifically for it. First of all, the Skill Guides & Calculator have been uploaded into our website, and can be found here. They are very basic (for the most part) and we are still missing several, including the Melees, Range, and a few Misc. If anyone would like to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated :) We've also made several changes to the Homepage & the Website Template. Firstly, the picture on the Homepage will be changed on a monthly basis, just to keep things fresh :) I also re-designed our banner, and added an animated "best of our gallery" sidepicture, which will be updated with new pictures from our gallery as we receive them. Forum After weeks and weeks of hearing buzz around the game and the FC about how there should be a F2P only Forum, we finally decided to do it. It is a project I started months ago, but never came to fruition until very recently. Medieval Kid & I have been working on this non-stop (and I literally mean that) for over a week. We weren't planning on going live with this until next weekend, but we were too excited to wait, and we have managed to finish it off way ahead of schedule. A special thank you goes out to LogOnBeach for helping us with some of the coding. What is it? A Forum for all F2Pers, to discuss matters of importance to the F2P game. Former & Current P2pers are allowed to join if they so wish, but we ask that they do not post about things of importance to the P2P game. This is first and foremost a Forum for & about F2P. Everyone is welcome to come and make an account and join in the discussion :) We will still be maintaining this 250 List Thread, as well as the one on our own Forum, so if you do not want to make an account, don't worry. As well, of course, the email account is still going to be maintained. The Forum is just yet another way of allowing people to send us submissions, but it is a lot more then just that; it is a way to connect as a community and a whole. We're hoping it will slowly catch on, and help bring our community closer together. Feel free to let everyone know about it :D We will still be improving the Main Site and as well the Forums in the coming weeks, so if you notice an error on either (I'm sure there are a few, this update was massive after all) feel free to post about it on here or on our own Forums. -Side Note- To all who use the friends chat F2P United, we also have a thread specifically for the chat located here. Mine 1 drop 1 is pretty much obsolete now that the action bar exists. The hobgoblin mine in the wilderness is the absolute best. Bring up to 24 Urns, a wooden shield, and some blue d'hide (aggressive goblins will attack you, possibility of need rejuvinate). You can reach between 45K and 50K/hr drop mining iron there using the action bar to drop if you have near-perfect focus. Slightly less exp per hour for the first little bit, until the Hobs stop being aggressive. Next to no PKers will come by, if they do, attack a goblin then go back to mining (make sure you are single way wildy) and they cannot attack you, and will get bored after a few minutes and leave.

Don't like to post so often in such a short space of time, but thought I'd give you guys a heads up about something we did :). We implemented one of the many upcoming site changes / updates today, a rather small one, but something so many people have mentioned and asked about. Names & words in any of the lists on our site (Top 250, National Heads of RS, Rankings, etc...) now are capitalized. I've always personally considered it a non-issue, but It's something that apparently bothered quite a few people, so we've fixed it for your convenience. Other text outside the Lists on other pages will still continue to have our old Anti-Caps formatting for style purposes. A big thanks to LogOnBeach for helping us out with this very persistent problem, your assistance was greatly appreciated. The first change of many |^_^|

My sister showed me it in 2001 when I was really young, and we used to play together all the time :P After the transition to RS2 i pretty much stopped playing until 2010ish, but never fully quit.

List update time 03/24/2013 Added: Elysian XP - Active Exp List - Removed: - First off, congratulations to everyone on those awesome level-ups. A Special thank you goes out to Dungeon Mak, Sees All1, and Dartfield for getting in touch with us and submitting updates. Really appreciate it guys! We filled in the nationality column on the converted lists with the known nationalities of players. If you notice an error, or some one that we missed, just let us know :) So we have re-done the rankings, located [here]. We've fixed them up a bit, lined them up 2 by 2 to save space, and just generally improved them. We will be adding minor fixes, and of course updates, but for the most part they are done. -in other news- We finally have the resources and team to turn Purefreetoplay.comze.com into a full-on fansite, which means theres going to be lots of new additions, tweaks and updates in the near future. Next week, we'll have the introduction of basic Skill Guides to help our lower level players. People have been requesting that we add F2P guides to the site for a long time, and we figured it would be very worthwhile :) If anyone has written a guide they think should be available, or would like to write one for us, just let us know :D As well, coming very soon, will be the biggest update we have ever attempted. I won't go into detail, but it far outshines the update where we moved from one site to the one we're using now. At the moment, we're working out the bugs, so definitely look forward to seeing some big things coming soon.

Time for a little update Random Glitch 70m Cooking Experience 92 Mining 102 Dungeoneering Haven't been up to much lately, still been spending most of my time Mining, occasionally doing some Cooking & Dungeoneering when I find the motivation. The glitch was very weird, it happens frequently when I log in, skills I already have 99 in appearing above my character as if I was training them (even though past 99 they don't show up, and I had just logged). Well, I better get back to the mines ;)

Nice to see more and more Pure F2pers around these forums :) "Beating" F2P will be pretty hard (still working on it myself :P), best of luck ;)

Nice progress :) Making urns yourself is very easy, just head up to the Crafting Guild, it has everything you need to do it from scratch. You can average around 220 Urns/hr when you get the hang of it, just Academy Tele to bank and Clan Vexilium Tele to get back ^.^

Time for a list update - 03/17/2013 Added: - Removed: - Not quite as big of an update as the last few, but meh :P Thought I would add that we have added a nationality column to the Converted Top 250 Lists. We weren't sure whether or not to do this for the longest time, but after a steady stream of positive feedback concerning the Nationalities option, we decided it was time. We'll be slowly filling it in, bit by bit. If anyone knows the nationality of players we do not have listed on any of our other lists (Actives and the NHOR list) feel free to post here so we can add them in :) And now to the big news.... I would like to announce that Medieval Kid has been promoted to Co-Maintainer of the 250 Lists. Medi has been a huge help to me ever since I started this project, and definitely has contributed more to this project then anyone else besides myself. I will still remain your primary Maintainer, handling the updates and answering the majority of the questions, but if I'm ever indisposed or unable to (as has happened on occasion) he will be there to make sure everything gets done on time. As well, he will be actively assisting with some of the other features of the Purefreetoplay site as well, besides the Lists, of course. A big thanks for everything you have already done, and a big congratulations on the new position Medi, definitely well deserved. @ Arceus - We have finally decided what we'll be doing to fix up the rankings a bit, and it should come into effect in the next update after this one, if everything remains on-schedule. @ Water Tablet - Thank you for bringing this to our attention. He's been marked on the Offence List for now. We've never actually had a case like this, so we're not entirely sure what our stance is going to be. Hopefully we'll have decided by next update, and will let you and everyone else know what our decision is then. Congratulations to everyone of course on your progress :)

Nice blog, only know of a few people in all of RS who have tried to do a Pure F2P Skiller DIY. Good luck ^.^ -side note- I might suggest adding a few pictures of starting stats/qp/bank/goals to your first post, just so everyone can see how far you manage to progress ;)

Very few, if any, Runescape is a very boring game to watch on vid. The only ones I've ever found even mildly entertaining would have to be Glitch Videos, and Parodies.

It's something I'd be open to, we simply have them organized like that because that is how we inherited them. I've been meaning to re-do the rankings page soon as well anyways, probably will be my next big project. The only problem being that the people who have achieved 200m post-highscores, we don't really know the dates they were gotten (for the most part), and therefore don't really know which rank would below to whom. As well, I know a lot of people like the idea of a top 10, not a top 16 or whatever. It's something we'll need to think about and discuss for sure. If anyone else has any ideas on how you think we should do it, please share :)

I have updated all of the entries from the TFS Highscores, and also the Top F2P Skiller List. When there was no change, I left the name & date untouched. As well, for those who were already on the Lists, but there was a discrepency (Lower Total level but Higher total EXP, or opposite) I left untouched. Took a serious amount of time, so just as before, I wouldn't expect I will do such a thing again for another 6 months, even if the different highscores remain compatible. The requirements for all of the lists got raised up quite a bit, which is always a good thing Next list update will be in 1 weeks time, and probably will not be quite so big :P Congrats everyone on the level-ups as well of course. ~Slaya

Time for small progress update :D 90 Mining: 17m Magic Experience: 91 Mining: Been spending a lot of time on Mining lately, as well as some Dungeoneering here and there. Honestly, I've watched so many movies and TV series lately its gotten to a level unheard of. Ever since I started going for 99 Mining, i've managed to work my way through Community (Season 1-3), Firefly (Complete series), Boston legal (Complete Series), Moonlight (Complete Series), Arrested Development (Season 1-3) and SGU (Complete Series). I think i'll be taking a break from skills that require such focus until I manage to re-fill my multimedia collection with some new & unwatched titles ;)

I'd say it really is mostly a personal choice at this point. The trend seems to be most of the higher level / older players refusing to touch them, and most of the lower level / newer players training them (with exceptions on both sides of course). It would really be up to your own preference whether to train them or not.

Been lots of posts recently about the recent changes to F2P and our decision on the matter, so thought I might address them while I have a chance. First off, the Converted Top 250 F2P Skill Total & Experience Lists have been updated to reflect the new list changes. Hopefully there are no errors on any of the lists, but as I'm sure you can imagine, this was one of the biggest updates ever. If you spot an error that we have not noticed, bring it to our attention and we will of course fix it. As well, I have added Fluhminator to the 200M List, and the Achievements page for Runecrafting. @ Kaida23, Krazyck, LordAdib, Isthatok - Thank you. It was not an easy decision to make, but hopefully it is for the best. Indeed, we will have to see how this all plays out in the long run. @ Doolodes - You can update as often or rarely as you want :P It is always nice to see your progress, though :) @ Fluhminator - A BIG congratulations. A very epic achievement, and one that must have taken an insane amount of work and dedication. Congrats :D @ Fuko - Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention, we will fix it in the next update. @ Animorph - Always nice to see another Canadian Pure F2per, there sure does seem to be quite a few of us! I've managed around 35 hours once (insomnia strikes again!) I probably average around 12 hours per session, I've pretty much mastered the art of training afkable skills when I need to do other things irl =p
