I can confirm that system updates from RS2007 don't affect EoC-scape. Logged into EoC-scape while the update while the update timer was going on and there was no timer and nobody got logged once the update on 2007 happened.

And somehow, you can know this, right? Well, duh, and yea it applies to things outside Runescape too. So if I tell you that you don't even know these people and cannot see in their minds, you would still say that, right? While it does suck that the quest was delayed (which they could end up releasing on next monday anyway), there's a reason why they put that part at the end of the bts, saying that this was not a guarantee of the content to be released. Well if you were 92 in every skill, you could get Cooking and Firemaking to 99 for that missing 8 total.

I'm guessing it could be something they'd add to the rewards shop that functions similarly as Runespan esteem.

^ My PC is like 4-5 years old and was built to be able to handle high-res video playback and nothing more, so I'm not too surprised it doesn't run that well on there (easily ~20-25 fps with shadows off though.)

IF I get a shield left half drop, it would be so epic that I would work on getting from 45 def to 60 just so I could wield the completed shield. Might try killing otherworldly beings for a d med, unless there is a better option in August 2007? (Not willing to do KBD for the moment.)

Yeah, the shields are usually solid options if you need a shield and cannot afford the price and prayer drain on Spirit shields (unsure if the dg shields' higher armour and lp is better than spirit shields' 25% damage reduction, but it certainly is a much cheaper alternative.) Personally, I'd recommend the staff because the additional accuracy is always great (though I might be a bit biased, since the only thing I regularly use magic for is Glacors, and it might not be needed for other monsters.) Otherwise, you might not want to spend your tokens on fashionscaping tools before getting the essentials, though I guess you can gather 200k tokens at a reasonable rate at your level.

The quest is not that hard, but good luck getting the pages anytime soon... Crap I didn't think about that... Eh, just the book is still useful to pures for its prayer bonus. inb4 selling zammy page 1 100m Weren't god pages from clues much more common back then anyway?
