On the other hand, Nex boots cost much more than Glacor. Also, Nex boots do degrade (<100k to repair at Armour Stand though.) Only reason I'd see for buying Nex boots/gloves would be for the additional damage boost when wearing the full sets (the +7 damage boost on the gloves and boots do not justify the price tag when used individually IMO) and if you really need the prayer bonus. Otherwise, Glacor boots are cheaper and DT gloves are virtually free to replace (though the 4-hour degradation time might be a bit annoying.)

Not proof. G.E. price for Studded leather boots was increasing when they weren't even obtainable yet, for example. Unless Jagex is manually tinkering prices or they are linked to something else the price will not change if an item is not in circulation because the prices alter themselves based on GE transactions and trades. I mean where is YOUR proof that the item is not obtainable? The GE price changing is pretty decent proof the item IS in circulation, even if not 100% perfect due to Jagex tinkering and linked items Except the prices for Shark soup keep increasing even though we know for sure they aren't obtainable, and the prices of Studded leather boots (amongst others) kept increasing back when they were still unobtainable.

Your best bet would be to get someone to upload the installer somewhere else for you to download, but then it's still possible that the installer itself checks for your location.

What would you say if a F2P Pure was to buy 1 month of membership in order to lift the trade limits, but not log in during that month? Then by any definition they are no longer pure F2P. Otherwise, we'd all buy a month just to get our favorite skillcapes. :P Even before the trial controversy, that was a rule set in stone within the community. Buying a month (even if you didn't go on members worlds) meant you were no longer "pure" F2P. Yeah, but going to buy your skillcape requires you to log into a P2P world, while this would just give yourself something that a vast number of the F2P community already has anyway, without even logging in.

Pretty much the annoying part for me (and many others.) Why should a T70 wand cost ~30M while all the other T70 weapons cost under 1M? The price for Virtus wand is fine to me, since Nex gear is pretty much meant to be really expensive.
