I read your post just fine. The thing with revolution is that it's not you actually using the abilities. You never specified if your problem with abilities was having to hit keys to use them every time or if it was their existence at all. Revolution fixes the first problem.

It would be pretty much the same thing except it would be called "boss" instead of "minigame".

I think that's specific to Revolution; if you do full-manual it shouldn't be an issue. In other news, time to panicsell saradomin swords. Superior kyzaj has a higher prayer bonus and otherwise equivalent stats. Not like you'd be losing much from Saradomin sword price falling anyway.

Heeyyyy speaking of unconventional weapons, instead of making it something too normal like a scythe, or a halberd, etc. What if the melee weapon was some sort of 2h sword, but with a hammer head at the end, and it would count as both a slash and a crush weapon? Then have the ranged weapon work like Crystal bow and Zaryte, providing its own ammo, except the ammo would be a special kind of magical ammo that counts as both arrow and bolt? Then make it so the Magic weapon could function like dual wield, as in you could set two different spells to it but it would work as a staff instead of wand+book/orb. It's probably not going to be any of those, but I think that would be a pretty cool way of making the Lv. 90 2h weapons special compared to the dual wield ones. (On a different note though, they should have had a 2h Ascension crossbow released along with the dual wield ones, they even had concept art for it.)

Shieldbow is the equivalent of a 1hander+shield, so it doesn't fit with the others.Besides, no mention of thrown weapons? Shieldbow is the only way to have arrow attack style with a shield. With melee you can just use mace, rapier or longsword with a shield; with magic you can just change spell. With ranged you can get bolt and thrown using 1h plus shield, but no other way for arrow. But since a shieldbow is technically a 1h weapon+a shield, I don't think that would be dropped by this boss since it's technically not a 2h weapon. (But can shieldbows use Dazing shot though?)

If you make the ranged weapon a shieldbow, then it makes the melee and magic ones stronger than the ranged one.
