Damn, I am smart. I would just like to point out in the midst of all this happy celebration how Jagex blatantly lied to us. (of course many of us did forsee that - but we were the "naysayers and conspiracy theorists" at that time..) I remember when the vote was a starting point to start considering implementing RS2007 servers, and servers going live in 2-3 months. Actually I am extremely pissed at how far up their asses their heads are. Misinformation, manipulation and blatant lies. All of this shit actually has made me play less and look into other options beside RS. I understand companies omitting information and selectively giving out specific information, but such lies to their paying, LOYAL customers, this just makes me sick.

Yeah, I only knew because I have been lurking about in a lot of forums and it popped up somewhere. It is pretty awesome and I am relatively sure that a lot, if not most RS players do not know that it works.

In pincers, do you get the triple adventurer big trade good missions only once, or is it a recurring thing? E.G. can I get 100 plates this week from a mission and get one more 100 plate mission in say 3 weeks?

That was certainly an incredible amount of effort you put in there. Bro, how's he supposed to play RS without using the scroll-button? Hehe, while I do appreciate the attempt to start a good internet battle, I will respectfully decline. :) But yes, I did put in a good deal of effort! But yeah, it's just one of those things for me. I have gotten so accustomed to using only my mouse to rotate the screen and navigate that it makes me cringe when I should use arrow keys again to rotate the screen. At this moment I just use my right hand to play RS, while my left hand is free to do whatever I choose, drink coffe, pick my nose, scratch my balls, play with the remote - whatever. And as Ginger Warrior pointed out, I play this game for enjoyment and I find EOC to be more of an enjoyment, but that's me personally, if you like 2007 - more power to you and I do rejoice with you. Just because I have a different opinion from you, does not make me a bad person. :)

Even I finally voted just to try out oldschool servers. And try out I did, spent about 1 minute on tutorial island, found out that I can't even use my scroll button to turn the screen like I do in RS now. Then I just said [bleep] it, I like EOC better anyway. I think I only got past the very first door on Tutorial island. SO that was a clever bribe by Jagex indeed. I hope everyone who wanted their 2007Scape back got what they were asking for I am glad for them.

Construction is definitely the skill is use the least. At the moment I only have enough rooms to facilitate my demon butler, a stairway going down to train with oak doors, and a gilded altar. I don't know what they should do to make it better tbh, but as it stands, I don't use it at all.

CONSPIRACY THEORIES JAGEX IS WATCHING YOU ILLRUNEINATI NO ONE IS SAFE Not exactly my point, but whatever. This whole things seems a bit off to me. Either SUOMI has been very good at hiding his stupidity/immaturity/recklessness while hiding in his basement grinding out 5B (maybe he has gone crazy in the process - whatever) OR this is a publicity stunt. This is not something I have not seen before. If you need to look at a recent real life example of using stupidity to get publicity - google "Donald trump vs Bill maher lawsuit" I just find it a bit baffeling how a person that seemed to be perfectly sane in forums, would just act out in such a childish way. (After hearing the fact that Jagex invited him over to England, I take back what I previously said about SUOMI being in the right here)

I still think this is a ruse to get some publicity towards Jagex. We'll see

Yeah ugune seeds are a pain to get until you get to hunter 80. So you just have to tough it out until that, and when you hunt dragonics you will get a shitton of ugune's erzilles samedens etc. i would suggest get hunter to 79 via the chinchompa DD and then just pot and hunt dragonics, that's what i did in the begtinning. And although it is doable at 78+pots, I would not reccomend it.

Yeah the 98's vs 99's is probably up to personal preference, although 98's might be a bit more time saved in the long run. I prefer the 99's option and blocked challenges

Just watched the video. The only thing that really pops up from there is "Damn SUOMI you are shit when it comes to typing, wow :D" Otherwise, meh nothing at all. In truth, nothing that I haven't said to my company's top managers minus the the profanities obviously. SUOMI haters and internet warriors are having a field day now ofcourse. :D

Meh. People make mistakes, big [bleep]ing deal. As long as you don't make the same mistake twice it's all good. I once made a bad decision that cost me roughly 35 000€. But I'll tell ya what - I've never made that mistake again. :D So get off SUOMI, people make mistakes, that's how we are built, we learn and grow by the mistakes we make. Now I wanna go and find that video, I hope it's still up? Also - whatever SUOMI did say, Jagex should keep true to their word, get their petty noses pointing toward the horizon rather than the sky and move along. A company is not supposed to be petty and insecure, that's what us players are here for.

That is the way to do with nerfed effigies. The daily challenges do add up. I have been on the same road you are taking on now for some time. From my experience I would suggest that go for even base skills first. All 80's, all 85's and so forth. And buy buyables as you go along to keep you motivated. I find it works well for me I will do the tedious/slow skills mostly and when I am sick of them I will switch to a quick 99 in a buyable. E.g. - I got all 90's then I did some wc, got bored of it, got pray and summ 99 in 4 days, then moved back to wc - it started boring me, then I bought farm, herb and fletch 99. I am on my way to farm 99 (will be there in about 3 weeks) and when I get thoroughly bored with WC again I'll just get fletching or herb 99. It really helps to motivate me, and I will do the same with my fishing/rc/agility - meaning that I keep a few quick buyables always in my bank to keep me motivated in moving trhough the slow skills.

I hope they do the party at a convenient time for SUOMI, like 2-4a.m. seems reasonable. If I am not at work i'll prob join to see what the hype is about, also just to see everyone saying something, but SUOMI being quiet as shit, cause he's muted. :D (I think they should really make the mute last longer, cause [bleep] him for completing the game, that's why)

That's what I said in the begnning of this topic and I thoroughly agree with myself and you. :D It had to be preplanned and they pretty much had it ready for launch before they started the vote, I am sure of it. Seeing as how desperate they are for votes, I think the reasoning is to reel people back into EOC, because I am sure you are not the only person who has been reeled back in. Surely they have nothing else to gain by 'encouraging' people to vote, because they know that these people who vote for their friends won't actually be playing. It's not a conspiarcy theory since it's probably true, most likely the reasoning to bring back 2007scape is a combination of private server issues and trying to reel people back into the main game.

Indeed, everyone have made a point about their support or lack of for 2007Scape. However, there is a long and interesting discussion to be had as to why Jagex is doing it and I can assure you it has nothing to do with keeping the player base's best interests in mind.

I don't think so, otherwise they wouldn't have given different options and levels of support for the game based on the amount of votes. I think they really are trying to gauge player interest. Personally I think they should've just done 2012 scape and let people vote for that, I'm sure it would easily reach 750k votes (assuming there are an adequate number of members). But if they did that EOC would probably die. Especially if they transferred current account stats/banks. Gaugin player interest is making a poll and keeping it running. Gauging player interest is NOT however showing it down everyone's throat and seemingly acticng against the company's own best interest. You have to realise that if they really wanted to gauge interest they wouldn't need to jam it down our throats with a sledgehammer, because the people who would be INTERESTED would know where to go to for voting purposes. And yes, putting it up in our log in screens with an eays button to click to instavote, is indeed slamming it down our throats. Also if they were indeed gaugin interest, why on earth would the actively encourgae the RS population to give false votes that don't give any real evidence to prove or disprove the interest in 2007Scape. - Encouraging people who are not interested to vote to 'help their friends' is indeed encouraging the player base to give false data. I have been playing this game for ~12 years and I have been working in a big corporation for the last 5 years, so I know how things work from the inside. I have been Jagex' supporter for a long time, even though they make a metric [bleep]ton of mistakes. But the blatant lying is getting somewhat tiring.

Well all in all, Jagex's latest stunt just shows what I posted on this topic in the very beggining - The decision about bringing 2007Scape back has been made´way before the poll. The poll was given to us just to give us an illusion of choice. The game is rigged people (commence scary cosnpiracy theorist' music) and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care (Quote from George Carlin btw) In either case, I don't really care, I am just pissed that they weren't upfront about it. They could've just said, "Hey, we're brining 2007scape back, pay extra 5$ or gtfo", instead of spouting all that BS about "gauging player interest."
