Anyone chance someone can post the contents of the update post? Can't access RS site from work :(.

I haven't messed with it much myself, but I'm sure there are ways to modify the interface such that you can increase efficiency during combat.

I had the exact same challenge yesterday. I'm also 96 summoning.

But dual wield mage seems like it's going to do worse damage now. Why would it do worse damage with the cap increasing?

I thought in an earlier Campfire(or maybe the BTS interview thing a few weeks ago) they specifically said that there were no elf quests coming up or in work atm. So I don't think he was referring to the next elf quest being soon after RS3

Currently I believe that dual wielding and two handers of the same tier are supposed to be equivalent in terms of DPS. Since cmaul is t80 and dygores are t90 I don't really see a need for cmaul. There may be specific circumstances where the two hander is preferable(maybe for abilities specific to a two hander), but in most cases drygore should be your choice for all of your melee pvm needs. Now, I'm not much of an authority on bossing, so if someone else can correct me please do.

All drygores are designed to provide the same DPS, some people claim that there are differences but I've not heard any substantial evidence to prove that. The suggestion for the mace set is based on the fact that the Main Hand Mace provides a high prayer bonus, and the Off Hand Mace is currently the cheapest of the Off-hand variety. Though statistically it would be the same as the other options available.

A few options: If you have super-antifires you can use the 2h staffs for magic. Otherwise you can use a wand, Virtus Wand being the best currently(until this weeks update at least). I think the weakness of Iron Dragons though is bolts, so if you wanted to range them that would be an option as well. They attack with magic now so the ranged gear would add extra defence if that's important to you.

I would LOVE to see them at PAX, but I don't think they do. They've been at E3 at least once, I'm not sure if they still do.

When their dev team is based in Europe, news spreads by social media, and the event sells out anyway? I'm pretty sure I never said that it wasn't a succesful event in England. Just said it could also make financial sense in North America. Costs would obviously be more expensive considering the devs are on a different continent, but I'm sure there would be other benefits that could outweigh the extra costs. Plus there is already a charge to get in to Runefest, it's not likely that they would lose money even having Runefest in North America.

Pfffft! It's always in England! What, are they headquartered there or something? sheesh [/sarcasm] It would be awesome to see runefest in North America sometime, would love to go but not likely to ever make the trip overseas just to go to runefest. On a related note, if the topic regarding Jagex's recent profits is at all accurate then most of their paying subscribers are in North America, seems to me that it could make financial sense to schedule a runefest in the US ;).

Not sure you understood the update.. it's the exact opposite of a buff. Since it will warbands more difficult to achieve success in gaining the XP I think it qualifies as a buff to warbands.

Any godwars item would be alright(z spear, ss, any godsword). You could buy a vine whip to enhance the whip with EE for offhand. Though before I got dygores I preferred z spear personally.

? I don't recall them mentioning that they'd be releasing anything else in june aside from what was announced. To be fair, they give the impression that one/some of the updates listed will be this month. Though there is certainly no guarantee that will be the case.
