Whatever, if you really think they started on Friday then think that. I for one would hope they have spent more time planning and executing it than the 15 you say. It takes them months for the smallest of updates. This Update is massive even if they have the code already, since it effects quests, bosses, items, combat, relocation then there is free trade on top of it. The QA alone for it would be a huge undertaking and they usually give themselves 7 days for the standard updates. I guess we will have to wait and see if there are any updates in Febs BTS.

Yeah 15 days of work (10 working days), and that includes the week of QA too? I'm so not risking playing first day if thats the case. And they don't have hundreds of content developers. They have been planning this for ages no matter what anybody says. It took them weeks to even make small changes to PvP in the past and still managed to mess it up, I cant see how it would be possible to get a suitably tested release in that time. Also another thing, all updates this month have been ready right at the start of the week with no delays which is so out of character for the usual update schedule (I cant remember anything like that in the last 5 years). I wonder what they were doing during those rest weeks... And FYI I don't care if they did start before the poll ended I'm just mealy stating the evidence, as I voted yes anyway.

Yeah, and also strange plants/swarms/dwarf killing people who were afk. I seemed to attract those people where ever I trained.

Well they could remove trade limits today, but like Kramp said, I hope it wont be for another month or so so i have time to prepare.

Its based on def bonus i think, if I didn't use turmoil i would be attacked, with it on i would not (only the Mages attack) .

Mages will still hit you, rangers and melee should not, so just pray mage. They all do still...

Yup can confirm w31, been getting my pray up and have been completely disconnected about 4 times so far and some took awhile to get back on since it kept me logged in.

I doubt there would be an update this week anyway, in the past they normally use it as a catch up week. Also there is only 3 updates this month so it would make sense. And snow is not a worry, not till the end of the week anyway.

No you've completely got the wrong end of the stick, it has nothing specifically to do with botters or the culprits. Just how the user gets the keyloggers in the first place, by downloading something dodgy they should have scanned or not downloaded at all. If they got targeted another way then that's different. But when I used to read the rants, they were almost always due to lack of security and basic common sense specially when they didn't have a bank pin and set recovery questions.

What horrific line of thought brought to arrive at this conclusion? :unsure: Most of not all keyloggers are installed after you try a bot or from sites you shouldn't be going into anyways. So: Person A is botting, person B is keylogging, so that's OK. Red herring argument, but a half-decent one and not one I was expecting. I was presuming it was the classic, 'If you're stupid, you deserve to be targetted by criminals and you should cry more when that happens' argument. Pretty much what I meant, just a google search for 'runescape cheats' would probably bring up enough links keylogged programs. Unless you are extremely unlucky and targeted by another means, the majority of keyloggers are from users downloading shady content and not scanning it. If people are stupid enough to do that then they should learn a lesson from it, if it means loosing their account/items then so be it.

If they get scammed then they really should go jump of a ... hmm nvm they might actually do it. :unsure: Also since display names, and the recent email usernames update that takes guess / bruteforce out of the question a little more than it used to. And anyone who gets keylogged deserves to lose their account imo.

Yeah I used to do that, a good spot to hunt them used to be upstairs of the buildings around Varrock south entrance. Got a few rares doing that back in like '04. Ah the good old days.

Could the bow be the Dragon Crossbow? They said it would be coming once they made some changes to the combat triangle (Damage soaking). @below: But why would they release a more powerful bow before releasing the dragon one? But it is Jagex after all.

Just make the pots trade-able and be done with it or just leave it as it is, like others have said dungeoneering does not boost combat, so why cant we use our hard earned herblore? I cant see how they would be able to prevent them being used anyway since we would need to use them in wildy for other purposes. :unsure:

Yeah I miss world2 too and the old skool solo merching, maybe it will be here again in a few months. GE would still have its use as it does now, just without the price restrictions but would probably be more useful for materials rather than items. I personally preferred face to face trading before GE. Not really sure why as it took forever to buy stuff, but it seamed more of an achievement specially if you managed to get it cheaper.

Probably meant PvP armour sets and corrupt dragon stuff, since it has no relation to what he was saying.

And considering the poll does not end till January 14th EPIC FAIL....
