It's had its ups and downs.

First few albums were good, but not great, but recently they've seriously found their sound, their last album was a cracker in my opinion. Supposed to be amazing live as well, haven't seen them yet though.

When the adrenaline and the endorphins kick in during exercise you tend to block out pain, which is why injuries tend to hurt more after the match/run. I've cut my leg on brambles when running and not noticed until I got back, stuff like that, you barely even feel it at the time.

He doesn't say he is pro-life, he just wants the federal abortion laws to go away and let the states decide. It's still not libertarian though. From his website: Either way, his stance on abortion just sticks out like a thorn to me in an otherwise interesting policy manifesto. His reasoning isn't overtly based on any religious values, but i'm slightly skeptical that it doesn't play a part.

Sadly though, throwing money at the situation in Africa and other parts of the world isn't really the best way to go about changing it.

Jesus, the first remotely atheistic children's film in years and suddenly all the Christians are boycotting it. Most of the religious allegory was sadly removed from the films anyway. As for your reasons for boycotting it, what? Since when was any form of media ever objective? Man, what contrived reasoning. OT: Those books are probably the best children's books i've ever read. Well worth a read.
