  1. I, for one, am getting sick of this. Every style of music on the planet nowadays has to have it's own type of people. The ravers all hate rock and dress in flourescant colours, the rockers all hate rave and dress in black. If a raver listens to rock, they are disowned. But why? Why should you disown someone based upon their musical taste? I try to be as musically broad as possible ; i listen to everything from Hype, a drum n bass producer, to funeral to a friend and even some classical music. If i had to put myself, fashion wise, into a group, it'd be ska - but ska is one of the many styles of music i'm accustomed to. Is it blind to judge someone on what they listen to? Music may be simple in perspective, but why should we let music control the way we live our lives? Should all Funeral For A Friend fans cut their wrists and cry at every given point? Should every Trance addict take ecstacy and wake up in a pool of their own vomit? Should every metalhead have long hair and disregard their appearance altogether? It's becoming harder to see why people believe so strongly in music changing who you are. Music may be able to alter your mood, but it certainly shouldn't control your life, so this is a plea. Be musically broad - don't be ashamed to listen to anything you think sounds good, and should someone tell you otherwise, tell them where to stick it.
  2. The scene in Saving Private Ryan where they are scaling the hill and the guy gets machine gunned. Very realistic, very gory, very sickening - it sure stands out to me.
  3. It's now sunday afternoon. woo! sorted.
  4. A few more facts : where you see him walking towards the plant from the trees, is cofton park - where many, many teenagers regulary get drunk as hell. From the direction he walks, there is over 4 miles of hills behind him - so i heavily doubt he came from that way. I also took a whizz up one of those tree's, so my whizz is now famous  At the entrance to the plant that he takes, it takes a full 20 minutes to walk to the factory floor from the gate he entered, whereas if he took another entrance *from a main road* it would take 3 minutes max. Oh, and the video works fine for me in windows media.
  5. Rather an abstract video, obviously with a hidden meaning. From what i gather, the guy is suffering from Schizophrenia - something to do with the fact that the guy is dependant on machines and the machines kind of, rebel. Maybe a sign of future things to come? Interesting fact, the beginning of the video was shot in the MG Rover car factory (recently closed, 4000 jobs lost including my dads and uncles) about 5 minutes down the road from me in Birmingham. After this scene, the rest was shot in London. Score one for the brummies! It's definately one of the best videos ive seen in a long while. I knew there was a deeper meaning to it, but to be honest i'd drank so much beer that i was just pissed off that the machines didn't rip him apart. Good vid, decent song. view it here : http://exodus.interoutemediaservices.co ... ery=stream And just incase you feel you've wasted your time reading this topic, here is an animation of Cameron Diaz dancing around in her drawers. There, isn't that much better?

Do you realise you're making a total [wagon] of yourself in public? You have absolutely no idea who I am, and yet you're making assumptions. I'm not a star wars fan, i'm very broad minded when it comes to movies, and we just happened to go and see it. I havn't been waiting 3 years and queing up for the past two weeks, i've been thinking "Hmn, star wars out soon, mayaswell see it." Just do us all a favour and stop posting. You're making the topic way more negative than it needs to be and you're not contributing one bit. Stop trying to win a damn argument with someone you don't even know over the internet.

  18. Anyone ever been brought to tears by a movie? I know i have... Battle Royale i found really sad when the teacher dies at the end and shuya has his flashbacks of his father's suicide. that really got to me... Battle Royale 2 : requiem had me close to crying to, when the fort is being invaded and shuya just kind of, wants peace... and i blarted at titanic, but i was 10 :P Black hawk down got me upset too, when the guy has his leg broken and is shooting at the people as his last desperate act, that was awesome. Ever happened to you?
