Just finished my last quest, While Guthix Sleeps, and can now wear my Quest Cape Again :D I haven't used the 400k experience yet, I was originally going to put in into Runecraft, but will think about it a little more first. It'll either be RC, Summoning or Slayer :)

I agree, if the character hasn't even been off tutorial island/logged in in 6 months, it's pretty obvious they're not planning on playing. If someone really wants to reserve a name for some reason, get it off tutorial island :roll: Honestly don't see why people would have a problem with this. Though, as pointed out above, from alot of your posts it seems like you're taking your own interpretation instead of reading the actual OP. You fail at reading.

Very true. Harpoons and Raw Bird Meat were higher than store price because people need them in bulk for summoning (both familiars made by these products are very useful for lower level summoners). If Jagex took away the need for junk trading by actually making the GE match "street prices", the *real* junk items wouldn't be worth anymore than their store price in the first place. Basically, instead of fixing the problem they've attemted to fix the product of the problem which, obviously, is just causing more problems. Harpoons and bird meat, especially, weren't used for RWT. They sold legitemately for those prices in bulk anyway. :P

With the release of the 150th quest getting closer, i've decided that i'd like to be ready for it's release by having all quests completed before then (hopefully it's not tomorrow :P). So i've decided to give myself a quick break from Slayer to finish off the quests I haven't done. I also agree we should have a few untradable "end game" pieces. Whether from bosses, quests, or even just slayer monsters, I remember when Slayer was first released Jagex were considering creating whips to be untradable, but changed it shortly before the skill was released. Items are worth alot more to people when they know that they achieved it themselves, and it isn't something anyone can just go and buy, eg. Fire cape

Thanks :D Hehe :-# They're mostly just what i've collected training slayer, minus the ones I used getting to 68 :) ---------------- Sorry it's been such a long time since my last post, took a bit of a break from slayer, and haven't been on rs all that much this week, really. But, while I wasn't doing a whole lot of slayer, I did get a couple of other things done :D Firstly, I hit 40m Strength xp :D After that I was at a bit of a loss for what to do, and felt like I needed a bit of a break from Slayer, so did a bit of fishing, and caught 1500 monks, leaving me 20k from 85 fishing :D Then, I decided it would be pretty cool to have full void because it seems pretty useful, especially for ranging, so I went to check out Pest Control. I'd never played it before, as my melee stats were already maxed when it was released I believe. After a couple of hours playing it was getting pretty damn boring, really, lol, but figured i'd gone too far already to just stop, and finally ended up with a full range and melee void set. :D Now it's back to Slayer. :)

I don't think anyone is actually saying that..? But do you honestly believe it would be fair for the 200,000+ players who played during that period to lose everything they did?

It is good to know that somebody else shares my opinion, and I think you stated it a little more precisely than I have. :) I think the main thing in question here is the classic dispute over the definition of justice. I like to think that justice is simply a way of making sure that things are kept fair. If a large group of people suffer due to things that were beyond their control, I think that it is only fair for the unaffected group to take a hit in return if it means they can set right what went wrong. Even if the unaffected group would take a much larger and widespread hit than the orginal, considerably small group? :roll: I didn't even play the whole day, but those wanting a rollback are the selfish ones. Those 1000 people (max?) want back what they lost, even if it means that 200,000 people lose everything they did in that 9~ hour period. Anyway, obviously it's much too late for a rollback now, and i'm personally glad Jagex are much smarter than some of the people who have posted here.

They fixed it in minutes. You guys kinda overreacting, you should watch Arby N' the Chief episode "Glitch". Sure, 540~ minutes.

yes :cry: It was supposed to be that way. (By removing some "random types")All they were really changing was making it so randoms which required interaction, such as the sandwich lady asking for you to pick bread, couldn't interrupt combat. NOTHING is more annoying than having the sandwich lady ask you for bread while your in the middle of killing the KBD... The random "change" was simply to make you teleport to a location to do the random instead. I thought everyone knew that? :? Yeah, having them teleport you away now is a good thing, not a bad thing :P Metal dragons was one of the worst places to get one of those randoms previously :shock:

I also have 4485 crimson and 1073 blue charms, but am saving them for when I really want to train summoning properly, they cost more to use than i'm willign to spend atm :lol:

Honestly, creating a f2p highscore list would just create too many problems for Jagex to even really bother with it. I believe that if they wanted to be at the top of a list (let's say F2P), they would've considered becoming P2P very carefully. Anyone with enough common sense won't start crying once they step foot into a P2P world only to realize that they're not at the top of the F2P list anymore. They'll just have to work their way up the P2P ladder. Which is, again, another reason for Jagex not to do it. I highly doubt they'll want people staying f2p solely to work towards the top of the f2p high score list.

Exactly, and even then, you have no idea which items Jagex has placed on the "rare wheel", and which items on that wheel the ring actually affects. Even if you did know which items were on the rare wheel, price checking those items still wouldn't prove anything, because the price of an item doesn't always have to do with how rare of a drop it is from a certain monster.
