They never said that they were translating it only to German. As far as I know, they havent told it officially nor given any hint in the past. My few sources however are very reliable ;) Surprised nobody else knew about this before, am I the only one?

In reality JaGeX uses a variant of arrays or trees to store that information in, as far as I know. And it shouldnt be easy to check if the quest is busy, just check for the quest progress (I think integer) You got the NPC.face incorrect tho, in runescript there is a much easier solution but with a very complicated reusable method to use it.

I think this is a baaaaad idea, tough I knew about this update a month ago. They only support multiple languages now, and it will be easier to attract gold farmers and .. dumb players My language is dutch, but I hate to speak in on a public english game, thats rude for all the people around you. The next thing is that all my friends will start: "Oh, heb jij twee boogtouwen, ik moet mijn boogmaakvaardigheid een level bijgeven. <-- this sounds really dumb. Ive seen it enough in other games.. and its terrible. At least I hope I can get in the beta, would be fun to get an empty world or so.

Enough state that they use it for macroing. Client editing should be illegal too, becouse thats use of third party programs. And if you guys havent noticed, Andrew is really going up the way of economy $$ As far as distant but trustable rumours go, he is planning some new marketing tricks in the near future. What do you think: would they ban member macroers? Would they prefer game over cash? No.. and they've shown that multiple times in the past. (for the record, I didnt say theyd do that all the time)

Actually some things opend my eyes lately - there is a lot jagex does underground. Its surpising and I couldnt believe it when i first saw it, but some are soo obvious. Oh well, as long as we can abuse the macroers theyll just bring the joy in the game.

@ran@I miss it too.. only I was never member. The nr 1 thing on my I-HATE list is still macroers, and RS2 is better against it.

But all the people who got 99 mining through this method are just the exception then, huh? There the lucky ones? Yes. And they should do something in the bandit cam too, yes. But maybe with less damage or so.

It should have been done long ago. And if you powermined there it isnt fair against all the people who got 99 mining elsewhere, TAH!

After doing a bit more research, they seem to make an edited client and then run a bitmap clicker in that client! The client is made so that random colours would be much lower and a colour (bitmap) clicker works. The path they follow is based on landmarks, they look for a tile they know and click there, then the script pauzes for several miliseconds (2000-5000) and clicks again. This is to make sure the character is on its right spot. Its all not too complicated, but it looks like they do have problems with essence miners etc.. Today I saw at least 60 different macroers/gold farmers in 1h max. I report one each minute and if I cant report them yet (60sec limit) I put them in my ignore list. When that one is full I'll send a message to JaGeX to look at my ignore list for macro reports. Ill do everything I can to stop them. Also, there is one thing that makes most of the bots log out, ill try to test that asap and see if it works. Id be \ if I just had to walk around and they all log out

Its worse then you think. Ive been doing some backdoor research and these are a few things I figured out: (I wrote that myself, I could still be wrong) Actually, colour clicking is old-school. It still works, but isnt that effective anymore. Pro: you wont get detected easily if you click a few random colours. Con: changing colours/orientation of objects is easy to do for JaGeX, making a script is hard and detecting the colours or words/numbers is harder! Client editing, heres where the easy work for scriptkiddies is. Once you have decompiled the original client its easy to change code and compile one yourself! Note that this is not item duplicating, it is just changing and acting on information you recieve/send. I found a whole library to edit decompiled code in just a few minutes. With this, its easy to make a macro: if (readHP() < 18) RunAway() [This is NOT actual code, but it should be similar] Pro: easy to make with basic programming knowledge and a lot of options you can make yourself (that zooming really looks interesting) Con: Your account gets flagged if you use edited clients And now for something completely different: Gold Farming. People who play for almost no money, hours a day, and they cant even speak English. =; This is actually hard to report becouse its not macroing and its hard to prove they are actually real world item trading. I report them for macroing anyway, they act the same. Note: I do not want you guys to try this out, nor to macro or break any JaGeX rule. I just post this so you know a bit more on how they work. Do NOT try this at home please.
