Maybe if they change the ads a little, there would be less problem. For example: dark coloured ads without all the flashing you madly would fit more in the theme and people wouldnt mind them that much. Also, text ads like those of google are GREAT. I praise google for the introduction of low-memory text ads.

Prayer books. You get the book from a quest/minigame (i forgot wich) and you have to put ~5 pages in it from treasures. They give bonusses and it works as shield;

G-set filter (or -updater) It works, it updates regulary and 99.99% of the ads you want gone are gone.

like hiding IP? I use Tor Button extension and Proxivy extension for firefox. They both work for me after a bit of fiddling around. I've tried some stuff with it and it works now :wink: but I dont think it protects enough against bad stuff on the web. Just dont try to use IE and surf as clean as possible
