free bump.. Well my 2nd attempt at FireCape failed last night... I got to healers.. Got them to attack me not heal.. Then when I switched prayer.. It stayed on Mage and didn't goto Range.. Had 3 HP left.. Before I could sip some Sara Brew.. Healer hit me.. errrrrr I still got 12 brews and 200 super restores to go... I WILL GET THIS CAPE!!! P.S. Any SOBD that have crushed nests they can part with let me know... I might need some more brews made Thanks and goodluck this weekend!

Here some info on Barrows. Ice spells vs Dart=== old post of mine--- Well, I have been running around barrows for sometime now and finally decided to break down 30 to 40 runs from each Normal and Ancient mage. Reason? to see what runes on average I am using and the profit/loss of each. I normally use 2 (4) dose PPots for normal mage and maybe 2-3 dose each run for Ancient (only on Karil and Ahrim) Also This is NOT a guide on HOW to.. there is enough of them.. I just use normal barrow style with guthan in tunnel to heal up and get 20 Killcount ((I normally always get 20+ Killcount)) The break down below is the difference from what I initially took to barrows and what I banked with. So the runes I receive in the chest are included. He is the break down: Using Slayer Dart: Runs: 31 Deaths: -62 = -18,600 gp @ 300 each Minds: -434 Chaos: 3779 = 566k gp @ 150 each Bloods: 934 = 560k gp @ 600 each Bolts: 819 = 163K gp @ 200 each Coins: = 34k Prayer Pots (4) : 62 = 459k @ 1850 per dose Profit Not including Loot: 847k @ 27k per trip Loot from above: T Hammer / T Legs / Dmed Using Ancient Magiks: Runs: 38 Deaths: -875 = -262k gp @ 300 each Minds: 10,866 Chaos: - 3096 = -464k gp @ 150 each Bloods: 707 = 424k gp @ 600 each Bolts: 836 = 167k gp @ 200 each Coins: = 38k Prayer Pots (4) : 5 = 27k gp @ 1850 per dose Profit Not including Loot: 124k @ -3.2k per trip Loot from above: Dharok Legs / Dmed / Guthan Plate / Verac Skirt / Ahrim Hood As you can see you make more profit with Reg Magic then Ancient. Prayer Pots are now becoming a little harder to find under 6k, so sometimes Ancients is easier. I set auto cast to Ice Burst (lvl70) this hits hard enough and uses less bloods , My first attack id Ice Blitz (lvl82). This allows me to freeze Bro for 4 others casts of Burst before I have to bail to other side of casket. If you go down with normal mage for 30 runs to get some chaos and bloods. Sell or trade bloods for deaths. Go back to Barrows for 30-40 runs with ancients. This will help cut loses for Ancients. I like ancients for 2 reasons. No ppots and better mage XP. Also makes each trip a game rather then a chore.

Scimi... THammer 2 handed.. Scimi you can equip Ob shield and get that extra str bonus and Def bonus. but that's just me.. you should test both.. Just buy Hammers.. try them and then buy scimi test it.. Sell the one you don't like... not like your permently attached to one

It's not a bug.. asked Jage about it and they said it's all good.. Here's a simple break down Bow gets 2500 shots 10/10 so that's 250 shots per degrade. You pick your NPC of choice to train on. Kill 2 or 3 keeping track of how many shots it takes per kill. So say it takes 20 shots per Blue dragon. Thats 12 Blues per degrade. So you switch to your full bow. Kill 12 blues. Switch to other bow. Kill the 13th bow degrades. Switch back to 10/10 and rinse repeat. If you have the time to do this good for you man.. just a lil time consuming for me currently. off topic: Wakka.. that's some insane whip drop count you got!

Whip??? Dude T Hammers rule all!!! They look cool.. There stats are neat.. and can a whip tenderize a bear? I think not... But if your looking at what would kill NPC's or PK people fast.. Whip I guess

Time is money and money is time.... The extra defense... Helps me from switching from Dragon to Guthan a little here and there. Saving me time over the long haul.. Even if it only saves me 5 minute every hour. That's 20 minutes and 22 Abbys per run. That would be an average of an extra whip every 5 or 6 trips. 299k for 2.9m... But anyway.. Some people simply don't mind spending an extra 299k for extra def bonus, better looks, or simply to show off they have cash. Where Some people simply like to spread their cash out on other thngs. Either way Legends cape is great... God Cape Works well... Ob Cape works greater.. and Fire Cape owns all.. Have fun with your capes

Def pures are simply made for speed kills. They get their specials in and over power you. If you come accross a Def Pure in arena and they can overcome the initial blows, it then favors the Def pure. This is if both players are of equal playing skills. Def Pures made for dueling can not get kills quick enough in the wildy, so thus why they stick to and were made for the arena. Off Topic: You forgot..only applys if ur over the age of 13.. and are totally close minded and like to generalize everyone. If you are over 13. Then open your mind and stop putting people into boxes.

Then you are talking to the wrong people. The drops you get are random.. Noone has figured how you get what drop you want... Although people have spent endless hours and prob drove themselves close to insane tryin to figure this out ((Me being 1)) Each brother you kill increases the odds you will get a RARE item. Your kill count increases your Runes and semi rare items ((Half keys and DMEDS)) Also if you open the chest when the brother face flashes, then bury 3 bones and then search when the next face flashes you increase your odds by 0. But this will keep you occupied while you get mind and chaos runes :twisted: goodluck

Don't try to come up with a new system... There are plenty of people that have put plenty of hours and experimenting to come up with systems and how to's. Killing 1 brother per trip would increade your runs by 6 times. And with the chance of a brother coming up on each door you open in the tunnel. This would be a bad idea for someone that isn't very experienced. Don't try to recreate the wheel.. it's not broke. Refer to the Link below for a beginer guide to barrows. I currently went through bank and sold off a large amount of stuff I wasn't using. Also with 85 slayer I have a little more cash in the bank so... I wanted to put my extra cash into some rare items rather have the money just set there in my bank. So my question is what do you think about small rares versus Purple PHAT as an investment? I currently have: 3 Santas, Red and Blue Mask, and 4 Whips. I could probally sell them and get together enough for Purle PHAT. Do you think that the PHAT will rise faster then the small Rares combined? Do you think investing in raw materials is better then rares? I am no merchant so any advise on this would be great

Axe's lucky ROW and my persistance paying off.. Another whip last night from only 110 abby's... WOOT I am riding this streak till it ends ((Cuz this will not last forever!)) then selling off the whips for another red mask or some Santa's.... Queen.. good to hear the whips are coming your way! Steel.. The XP from Abby's if pretty fair and you get actualy drops that are stackable and worthewhile to alc or Bank (Whippys!) Thanks for posting and your interest... 85 Slayer was a rough goal to get to but it was worthe it.. Not only the whips, but the people I met on the way and some of the people I meet up at abby's ((The ones who talk :wink: )) P.S. Tradin 3 whips for a santa :twisted:
