What exactly are the benefits of having an obby cape? I see them being sold all the time for 300k, and last night I got one from a drop in Tzhar. I put it on, but I see no difference.

Its not really impressive. +2 more in all def more than a legends cape and costs 299k more. Its worthless IMO.

Because othre than the fire cape which is very difficult to obtain, it is the best cape in the game.

I have both obby and legends cape and use legends on my everyday things, because i like it's look, the fact it says "I did legends quest" and it's cheap to replace should i die to a random event.

 

 

 

But whenever i go fighting I put my obby on, it's just plain better, no way around that.

im lvl 109 and cant be bothered doing legends, d square and legends cape are obsolete.

For people that have done legends and are conscious of there defense points (like me), they will go for the obsidian cape.

i used to be like you all, thought, if i put together the best defense in the game id be really well set. and all this stuff.

 

 

 

after a while, ive tossed away my rune boots and sold a few dragon mediums i gathered up.

 

 

 

i go in the wildy with my legends cape, would you go in the wildy with your obby cape? some yes, most NO. legends cape in wildy is good, good def, untradable so no1 can loot it, and its CHEAP.

Because it gives the defence bonus? It's like asking why one would by Dragon armour, when barrows is stronger, and cheaper...

Correction the culinaromancer gloves also shows that you have done legends, you need to do legends before you can complete recipe for disaster.
