I did find something yesterday which told me the temperatures. It didn't specify which temperature was which, but they were: Temp 1 = 45 degrees celcius. Temp 2 = 28 degress celcius. In my motherboard monitor, the MoBo temperature was at 28 degrees so I'm assuming the first temperature was the card. I'll see if I can find the program and check for any changes now. Edit: Just checked, they now stand at: Temp 1 = 41 degrees celcius. Temp 2 = 25 degrees celcius.

Hey everyone. I recently upgraded from a Nvidia FX5200 graphics card to the ATi X1650 AGP PRO. Now, I have a few problems with this card. Firstly, the computer now has an insanely slow boot time and sometimes, I'll log in and the screen will go completely black and will refuse to respond. Also, when I'm opening applications and switching between them, the screen will flicker black and take a few seconds to correct itself. The machine is running a lot slower than with my old card, too. Playing games is a huge hassle, too. They will run fine with much better FPS and quality than my old card, but after around 10 minutes, the screen will go black. I can hear the game still playing but the Windows report error window will appear at some point and the game will disappear. Another thing, when I'm in the Catalyst Control Centre, the 3D preview box doesn't show anything and an error pops up saying that the Windowed Previewed Application created an error and needs to close. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, updating, rolling back to older drivers and re-seating the card. I can't figure out what is going on, so maybe some of you can. :P Computer specs: 1GB RAM. (Can't remember the brand name) AMD Athlon 3000+ 2.1GHz. ASUS A7V8X-X motherboard. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

CAD help, for all those engineers out there!!!
Rhys replied to pompey_spud's topic in Tech and Computers
I've used a fair bit of Pro/Desktop but I'm not sure what's happening with you. It may be because they've been extruded or something. Are they all on the same workplane? -
You did sound stupid.

I believe he was asking about Guild Wars.

I'm not really sure of the validity of what I'm about to say but I think that when a file is deleted, it's split into 7 parts and scattered across the hard drive. You'd need some pretty advanced software to recover it, I believe. However, that could just be complete crap that I've heard. Someone else should be able to verify this for me.

I recently bought a shirt that looks like this:

Should just be a case of plugging in and flicking over to the right out channel.

Can You Help Me Find A Good/Simple MAME Emulator?
Rhys replied to connelly's topic in Tech and Computers
It's not illegal if he owns the original of the game. I do assume you own the game? This should help you: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=485 ... t=emulator -
What will that do? OK, right click "My Computer". Click properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings > Uncheck the box that says 'Automatically restart'. When it next shuts down, it will hopefully display a blue screen with a whole load of weird writing on. Write down the STOP code: 0x00000 (0000x0000x0000x0000), the message at the top of the screen in capital letters and, if there is one, the file that is playing up.

That's odd. I think Mercifull would probably know the most about this kind of stuff, I'll ask him nicely to have a look if he comes online. Edit: Go into you messages thing, then go into settings and then text messages. Check the service centre isn't some ridiculus number. I think it should be: +447802092035. (I'm presuming you're in Britain).
-
You have enough credit to send texts, right? 8-)
-
Also, can you receive messages?
-
Could be the message settings have become pooched. I'm not an expert with Ericssons so try checking their website or something. I'll have a look around and get back to you. Edit: My mum has the same phone, I'll go have a quick nose around it and see if I can find anything that may be of some use. Another edit: What network are you on?

Lame. I've never had a problem with talking to girls as well, but I know better than to think that everyone is comfortable with that. I've met people who are seriously shy with talking to women and just needs some advice on how to get started. Because girls are so much different. This isn't a thread about talking to women. This is a thread about adolescent boys having problems with talking to their little girlfriends. However, in the instance you speak of, I still don't see how it's much different. It's not as if we all have to get on our knees and bow before them just because they are female. I, for one, am not going to think that because it's a girl, I have to treat her special esteem. They're just like everyone else, why do you have to have special powers to talk to them? No. What if you were an * to begin with? Of couse you'll change. What if you were childish to begin with? Of course you'll change. I'm sorry everyone is imperfect unlike you. By all means, I'm not perfect. I just don't think that talking to girls is that much of a problem. No way would I change for them, just as much as I wouldn't change for my male mates. I wouldn't think, 'oh, she thinks I'm a complete asshat, I'd better change!'.

You do relise the people who ask advice like this are generally younger and just becoming interested in the opposite sex, right? Then those of us who have who have had some experience offer help. Then again, popular people like you must have no problems at all, huh? Also if you're not willing to make changes for the one you 'love', then you must not love them at all. The whole 'like it or leave it' attitude will leave you single and lonely. Believe me, that's how I was but now I'm willing to change for a girl. (Not a whole life-style, but change the little things that annoy her or whatever) Hell, if you want to pick a part my post and patronise me, then I'll bloody well do the same to you. I've made changes for the one I 'love', thanks all the same. But then again, being the mindreader you are, you already knew that, huh? I'm prepared to make changes, I'm just not going to completely change who I am. I won't talk or act differently just because I'm with her. She has no problems with that. I'm not single and lonely and I haven't been for the past year or so, so I guess my theory must work, eh? Also, who cares if they're younger? Honestly, they're still people. It's like, 'OMG LIEK A GRRRL LOLOLOLOLOL SHE MUST BE SPESHUL LOL!'. Get over it.

Am I the only one that finds this topic hilariously funny? On one side, you have all the people offering their amazing advice on how to talk to a girl. Even though girls are people. What is so hard about talking to the opposite sex? I've never had a problem with this and a lot of my friends are girls. I really can't see the problem with talking to another human being. What's the difference? Then there's the girl/s that are giving advice on how to talk to them. Who cares? I'm not gonna' change my entire attitude just so I can be deemed acceptable. Like it or leave it, right? Finally, there's Zonorhc. I love you, man.

If you hit keys and click a lot, does it make a beep sound?

Well, how's that for a counter-arguement? #-o Firefox is better than Bubsa! Get over it...

And provided we don't actually know what he wants to use it for, you just destroyed your own 'well-put' statement.

Help with what? Graphics? Coding? Or do you want everyone to do all the fansite for you? By the way, chances that you'll get someone that will help you are about zero, give or take one or two.

Leather wallet a friend gave me. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1.05. LloydsTSB Cashpoint Card. Guild Wars Activation Code Card. ... That's pretty much it.
