  1. Yep, awesome game. I loved it, but i guess i loved the first one, so it was a given i'd like this one, if anything for the contiuation of the storyline. Luckily i loved the gameplay and the story was great, everything and more than i expected.
  2. Man, how couldn't you like this movie? Maybe it's subtle comedy that some people don't like (like King of the Hill...god i love that show), but i thought it was awesome and really funny, how bout you watch it over a couple times? then maybe you'll get more of the jokes.
  3. I'll just name all of the bands i have: .38 Special A Flock of Seagulls AC/DC Aerosmith Alice Cooper The Allman Brothers Band April Wine The Beatles Bee Gees Billy Idol Black Sabath Blue Oyster Cult Bon Jovi Boston The Cars Deep Purple The Doors Elton John Foghat Guns N Roses Head East Jethro Tull Journey Kansas Kiss The Knack Led Zeppelin Lee Jackson ( :P "Grabbag", Duke Nukem 3D theme song) Loverboy Lynyrd Skynyrd Ozzy Queen Quiet Riot R.E.M. REO Speedwagon Rick Springfield  Rush Sammy Hagar Styx Sweet (Someone on the first page had the song Ballroom Blitz under Blue Oyster Cult, just to let you know Ballroom Blitz is by Sweet unless Blue Oyster Cult has a song Ballroom Blitz that i don't know about) Thin Lizzy Trans-Siberian Orchestra Twisted Sister Van Halen The Vapors The Who Yes Yoko Kanno (otherwise the Seatbelts, did Cowboy Beepop music, not my favorite show but i love the music in it) Yea, well that's it :)
  4. And to anyone else who says 'emo'.. define it. Don't start a flame war. But...that's his job!
  5. Seriously?!?! I thought you could only have 3 of those!
  6. Grr...i hate it when people do this...it's performed by My Chemical Romance, not by them. And just to tell you, the Queen+David Bowie version is 110 times better.
  7. i love this song, i couldn't stop listening to it after i first heard it. probably my second favorite deep purple song, next to Woman From Tokyo.
  8. Greenday, Fall Out Boy, pretty much any modern rock/punk rock band. Pretty much due to lack of vocal/instrumental talent.
  9. ^^wow, you should've been suspended for a while for that, how'd you get off with it? Seriously, if i said that in my school i'd get expelled
  10. hahaha i reall regret it, but i have to agree with you purple. they're overrated, but i guess they do have ok voices. Ahahaha i was lookin through my itunes list and i found another one, the baha men...err...how'd that get in there...i swear it's not mine!;)
  11. well then why'd you even come into this freakin topic? I mean come on, if you know it's not a topic that you think you'll be interested on posting/giving your opinion on then just don't look at it!
  12. Pirates of the Caribbean?;) And, of course, Aladin.
  13. Ok, so there's this kid named Ted in my school. He's a friend of a friend, i really don't know him, but in band he's always doin funny stuff. Anyway, one of my band teachers, Mr. Mazur, was, you know, wavin the baton around and stuff, and Ted (a drummer) messed up. So, Mazur stopped and he's says "Ted, why aren't you playing right today?" And Ted replies some smart alecky comment, and Mr. Mazur says "Do i need to get the drummers a sandbox or something? You 8th graders are acting like babies!" So anyways, this was last year in 7th grade, and this year he was teaching at one of the elementary schools. So, he comes in to sub a couple weeks ago, and Ted messes up again. Mr. Mazur starts getting on him about it, and when he stops he holds the baton up, and all of a sudden you hear Ted yell "i think you need a sandbox!". Everyone laughed so hard...including me. You had to be there. Also in band coincidentally, the same teacher Mazur stopped, then he said, "ok gang, let's start at measure 69". And this kid Cameron yells, "haha that's mister Mazur's favorite number!" and everybody starts cracking up...another one where you probably had to be there. That's all i can think of right now, maybe more later.
  14. Of course it is. Are you stupid or something? Well, thank you for the insult. Now, some facts from the dictionary: music: the art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. the term "music" requires harmony, rap has none. Technically, there's no such thing as rap "music", it's rap words.
  15. Stop replying to them. They're the elitists that think anything mainstream suck and then you find out they like Fall Out Boy. They'd probably think the Eagles or the Beatles suck because they're mainstream as well. What are you talking about? Please, don't say something that you know nothing about. I hate Fall Out Boy, and i don't "think anything mainstream suck", i just don't like most modern bands due to lack of vocal/instrumental talent. I like the Eagles, and i like some of the Beatles music.
  16. Wait...you're saying rap is music? this is news to me.
  17. Prey's gonna be awesome, a bunch of stuff from 3d realms is...Duke Nukem 3d anyone? Oh, and on the subject of Duke Nukem, i'm hoping for some announcements on the game Duke Nukem Forever!!! I can't wait to read about E3 this year!
  18. Greenday!!! On topic: Yes, Rush, Billy Idol, Kansas, Thin Lizzy, and Boston.
  19. ^^ err...Greenday doesn't play complicated...anything. And their writing skills are horrible, i mean, it doesn't seem like there's as much inspiration or randomness as there were old songs. Have you ever listened to any Yes? They wrote some pretty complicated stuff...and performed it well. Like the song Roundabout for instance, that song is amazing, and very well written, and some of the coolest lyrics i've ever heard.EDIT** oh and Greenday sucks at singing too ;)
  20. Fencing...you know, sabres, wiry masks, white pads...thin walkways where you fence...it's fun. Oh, and why is everyone relating curly hair to fencing because i have a fro, i'm white, and i fence...but what is it about it?
  21. Err...it's called your own money? Don't you like get money for Christmas(or, depending on your religion); or money for your birthday and other Holidays? I mean, do your parents buy you everything? Oh and sorry bout the DS, i myself have a PSP so i guess i dont need to worry about a top screen :P
  22. ^^ haha i love the clock, watch clock :P
  23. Err...everyone can hear a t.v. when it's on but nothing's on it right? And i can crack my fingers in 4 different places...that's about it. Oh, and i can raise just my left eyebrow.
  24. I actually didn't mean the vocals/lyrics are bad. All their songs have the same structure: An opening guitar solo, repetition of a riff and a catchy chorus. I like their music, but it's always the same. Period. That's what I said. The four examples you stated, listen to them thinking about the 3 structural points above. You'll see. That, however, doesn't make their songs worse, they are all equally good, wich drives me tired of them at times. Also, I would rather be called apinagez than "the person that said all their songs sound the same", because that sounded kind of arrogant, and I'm sure you didn't mean that. Did you? Nah sorry i didn't mean that, i had just forgotten who wrote it when i was typing it.
  25. Yeah, i bought Guild Wars over the summer, and after a month i was bored with it and went back to just runescape (i was playing both at the time).
