Yay! Another long waited update from this lazy bum! So, what have I been doing since I sold my "oh so precious, given as a gift" partyhat. Well, first things first... I have to clear up something to those who don't know how I came into posession of the green. In early autumn 2007, I returned from my summer break, to forge myself a new road in the game. I didn't know what I hated more, a close friend betraying me, or the fact he took most of my bank worth with him. Anyway, I knew I couldn't let go that easily... we Estonians don't give up! I realized after a few weeks that gaining back my 300M in assets wasn't going to be something I'd be able to pull off on my own before the trade restrictions. I kindly asked each and every one of my friends for help. I was utmost surprised when almost everyone accepted to hand me a donation or two. A few individuals were more keen than others. One of these was Harryhit4, whom I had known for years. Because party hats were an easily merchantable asset (unlike now... who would've known!), he embarked on a merchanting goal of obtaining a blue partyhat for himself, and do me a for-life gift of a green partyhat. Needless to say, he managed both, and a little bit extra. So once november rolled on and the weather started to get colder, Jagex's devilish updates looming about, he presented to me the reincarnation of my hat. As was the deal, I had to put in a little bit of my own "blood". 30M was the number, or about 15% of the cost (then a staggering 220M!!!). Deal done - balance restored. Sadly, Harry quit the game shortly after, but I still talk to him in messenger. Thank you Harry! If I hadn't sold the hat recently, I probably wouldn't have gotten such a chance again. The deal was well-justified imho. Anyways.... what have I been up to! Well... fished a bit more on Holy Viking. And got these 2 levels: Died right after that, because an Evil Chicken thought it was nice to spit bird flu on me. Luckily I got back in time and saved my top hat, 5k feathers and duel ring =) Meanwhile on Vey... Sat in the GE for an hour, puzzled about what to buy. There were a couple of items I had wanted since they came out (1 of them wasn't claws, because quite frankly, they suck for slayer). Closed my eyes, and put a blind offer in for an SGS at close to market price. Instant buy. Great job! :thumbup: And because I had been saving my money to buy a DFS, I had to buy that too. Double high five pl0x GE! \ .... aaaand so I went back to slayslayslay@@@ ... charged my shield up at red dragons and properly tested the sword in aberrants. Both proved to be awesome! Oh andddd loooook what weeeeird xp popped up!!!! :D I missed the real deal by a minute :roll: Here's my current standout item-wise. And since Brian was too drunk to stand up, he went to sleep it out... revealing the two items behind him! : Bring On The

Should've used a book or a lamp for a more epic levelup. But it's not too shabby. : 9/10.

Ok, I've made a few plans. First off, I'm going to get 30M Cooking XP. Yesterday I bought 26k raw sharks from the GE and I'll be cooking them in Rogues Den in world 99. If all goes well, I'll be losing only 2M, but if I sell them in a PvP world - nothing, maybe a slight profit even. \ Might also get prayer and cons to 80. :D Progress: 24.8M / 30M xp

02. February 2009 R.I.P. Greeny, may you find a nice home with another person... and hello big pile of $$$!!! Finally, after what seemed like forever, and cursing whatever parts of the game (GE mostly), my partyhat has sold!!! Huge thanks to Carl Dublin and Picard7777 for giving a straightforward hint of them being bought out. I just couldn't let this one slide away. Hopped into world 2, as the GE proved useless once again. Second person who traded me there bought it. TYVM!!! And here's my epic cash pile now: :D Oh and in other news... got 14 Strength on Holy Viking. Still 9 HP! 1 genie away from starting my journey to 60 Strength and hopefully the lowest ever combat player to wield the obsidian maul. : EDIT: 15!!!

UPDATE POST So now... I've taken a small break from Vey to focus on my level 3 n00b account. For the next week or two. Really, I can't focus on two accounts at once, so I had to make a choice. In the past 2 days I've done some quests, got my fletching level up, spun some flax, spied on a few penguins and made a pretty coin. But today's is the cherry on the cake. Lost City done at 9 HP!!!! A HUGE thanks to Etpelletier and Down To Skil (tehskil) for helping me complete this failbait quest. We did fail 2 times... well 3, with my test run with Brett before. But despite what the game threw at us, the quest has fallen! YAY!!! \

3/10. It's funny, and at the same time sad, that these flamebait threads get more replies and views than ones showing actual great achievements. :roll: :wall: 85 Fletching is far from a good thing. I didn't make a big fuss when I got it, it wasn't special then, years ago, and it still isn't. In fact, most of us have come to the conclusion that cooking and fletching are nobrainer 99s. Almost no one looks up to you if you have just 1 of them (either cook or fletch), then again, you get even less attention if you have both. Next time you post another fletching milestone, make a decent thread, not some "Hey look at me! I point the finger at you and laugh, because I don't care what you think of me, so flame me!" :roll: Yea. 3/10 will do.

Tie between fighter torso and d claws. Torso's only + is it's strength bonus, for all other bonuses sake, it's better to be wearing a rune plate. And what are you gaining with the extra +4 strength bonus? Maybe a +1 increase in max hit. That's it! Not worth the time it takes to obtain it through BA. Plus you always lose it, should you die. D claws only + is their spec. If the spec was for some reason changed, the claws would plummet to like 200k. Stat-wise, the claws are sub-par. Clearly not worth the insane street price, well maybe the GE price. Besides, for a measly 50k, you can buy a equally deadly KO weapon, the dds. At 99 strength and attack, you could easily kill your opponent in 2 specs, assuming they both land an epic hit (25-25 or more will do). You'd still have 2 specs left after that.
