There have been so many great, recordbreaking and near impossible achievements being posted here over the years, like recently 1000 cats, naturally we give those people 10/10 with all our hearts. Now, as a realistic rater like me, how could I give the same rate to some guy who just got 70 fletching. Just cause he's happy about it??? It doesn't work like that. I cannot compare growing 1000 cats with 70 fletching. The latter honestly doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. So it gets a 2/10. Realistic rates. They're a bummer, right!? ;)

:shock: uhm... as always, I'm trying to be a nice guy, but it pisses me off when people deliberately ask to be flamed. To me, 70 hp wouldn't be a big deal, neither would that other "achievement". So I'll rate by my own view, and not to just join the flame mob. 2.5/10. Merry Christmas.

RS community has never been mature, at least not since '02 or something. It's a false illusion. You might get the feeling things are going uphill from now on, but it's really just the tip of the iceberg. What people you meet ingame on your playing sessions can just coincidentially be the maturer kind, but that doesn't mean everyone share the same trait. There are certainly a bunch of kids on an f2p or even p2p server who to this day haven't grasped the basics of the game, let alone write with correct spelling, punctuation etc...

4/10. Might be a common item nowadays, but not all the people out there are avid monsterhunters or top notch skillers who can make millions a day. So give this guy a break. Kids. :roll:

-What type of person will you add? I typically add people I can have a decent conversation with, or who are funny beyond the typical "o l00k it r lolcat dere!!!" type of meme spamming (although I do admit I do that randomly aswell). Someone who just wants to be my friend cause they like my combat level / equipment / stats / [insert anything], won't find themselves in the list. -How long will you need to talk to them before you add them? Depending on the situation and area I meet them, usually 10 minutes is the bare minimum. Sometimes you can have a thoughtful and interesting conversation for hours and when one of us has to go, we add each other. You got to have a base of opinion about a person to be able to judge his/her value as a friend. Are they funny, do they talk about mutually interesting topics or do they just reply with simple answers. Also I take high judgement in grammar. If a person can't even write a simple 5 word sentence without making mistakes that would put a preschooler to shame, then I doubt they will make a good friend. -What type of person would you decline a friendship with? Plain annoying people. If a person can't take a hint for "No I don't want to be your matey!", I have not even the slightest motive to accept them as friends. Also what ticks me off are people who I may have traded with, and who, a few months later suddenly pm me, like we were best buddies. I try to be polite to them, but sometimes it can get messy when they are the stubborn type. :roll: -How would you break the news to them? As my mood directs. If it's been a hard day, and I get dirt thrown at me, when all I want is to just relax, I can't just conjure up a polite rejection. "Beat it!" often works. -What would make you take someone off your friends list... If they say they're going to quit forever, and have given their own permission to remove them. Other than that reason, almost never, unless they've commited a indecent act to hurt me and/or my friends... like leaving us to die to a monster, or a deceit. -...or even add them to the ignore list? Anything that directly hurts my playing experience (loss of items, death... etc), and they're gone to the ignore.

Being called noob is not offensive, at all. Heck, I call my best ingame friends noobs often, they don't seem to mind. When someone randomly calls someone in a bank or whereever a noob, I don't attempt to respond with an equally "witty" comment (assuming it was said to me, even thought it probably wasn't), I just ignore it and move on, maybe chuckle a bit if the context allows it. Seriously, if you get ticked off by just a simple "hey noob, y u here"... quite honestly, you need help. Anger management, emotion management, or a girlfriend maybe. :lol: This thread shouldn't been made, as the same exact question has been asked so many times, so often, and also leads to the same responses, always. The few that care what they're called by complete strangers in an internet game make up the defensive side, and the majority who don't give a damn... well, we're just here to kill the thread.
