  1. Congrats, but where is that location please? Ain't that the lobby of FOG? Pretty sure it is.
  2. Sorry to break your excitement, but that ship has been there for over a year now, if not more. Ever since the Varrock Museum got a makeover. Nothing to do with sailing.
  3. April 27th.

    liek 530.
  5. Too cute to give anything below 10/10. : I think nexus is a clan.
  6. 8/10. Where have I seen that bleeding zammy symbol before :-k
  7. I wanted to find out some item values, and thought ah what the hell let's put together a BoB. Approximately 20M or more in bank, aswell as 10M in costume room. :
  8. Something about chemistry? :P And gratz again on 97 cooking!!!
  9. GF 1/10, like you wanted. :D

Most of my friends do daily herb runs... except me. I only farmed with trees and bushes. Rofl. Perhaps... :| :
  11. Right now I have 2.2M in cash. I had 13M last week, but I spent it on 2 marble-filled portal rooms and gilded chapel stuff. Itemwise, if I sold everything, probably would have close to 200M. :
  12. Back in the RS1 era, Jagex did quite many IP bans, but these were rather easy to render void, as they didn't counter for dynamic addresses. I'm not sure if they've done that recently anymore. A good ol' perm ban is far more effective.
  13. Level-ups cannot surprise me anymore. Too great of an XP gap between every level. Since I usually take a screenshot of every level up message, I'd like to be able to be aware WHEN it will happen so as to not miss it. :
  14. Those poor poor chinese... :( Anyway, this doesn't change anything. Most of the goldfarming companies have been working secretly and their employees have vowed not to betray their "masters". But now there is an actual legal act that can be executed against those caught. A few hundred might have to serve a sentence and/or get a fat fine. The rest go about their daily "business" as usual, like nothing happened. The chinese government have other more pressing concerns to worry about. I don't think they have the funds to have the police or national guard search every building, abandoned or not, in the country for these illegal establishments. So it makes this yet another law only effective on paper.
  15. A few months after I started playing (this was in 2002, mind you), I tried every single key I could find on the gate in Varrock west bank basement. Surely enough, it didn't do a damn thing. Lesson learnt. Later I unlocked the telekinetic grab spell, but still couldn't get some of the stuff from the locked "vault". Ahh silly days. Like 2.5 years ago, gave my santa hat to a friend, which he promised to pay for over time. I only received half of what it was worth. *sigh* Needless to say, I was dumb enough to let the same guy later get away with my white partyhat and half my bank. :wall: Older TIF users know of this, and it comes up whenever a topic such as this is posted  Admittedly, shock therapy is the best way to make a person change. "Read everything you are told! Think before you act!" is the motto of safety, and the rule I go by. It prevents you from dying to most things, it prevents you from getting into awkward situations, etc... How many times have we got lost in a quest because we haven't bothered to read what the npc has told us... or how many of us have gotten killed by a monster because of this... yeahh... :-k :wall:
  16. I usually lend to friends only, and of course do not ask for anything in return. But when a stranger comes along with a tempting offer (that he/she proposed; I will never ask myself), I will accept gladly. Why refuse free money : Often times I can use my SGS for a wee 10 minutes before another friend wants it. Hehe, crazy stuff!
  17. From a task of 182 spiritual mages, in which I got 4 boots, totalling a 1.2m profit, came also a clue, for which the reward was this: My first ever black cav from a clue
  18. Anime - can't stand those giddy faces of the anime characters, with oversized glittery eyes and point sized mouths, suited up in ridiculous looking outfits. Oh did I mention they're almost always teenaged and set to "save the world".... sigh Screamo/metal-core - Squealing like a pig (and failing at that, quite honestly), while looking like their own sister... lyrics that are supposed to tell a tale of sadness and hate, but seriously, you have to filter out the growling and other noise to hear them.... is what has just stamped a big FAIL-badge on each and every act this genre has to offer. Reality TV - nothing but a waste of prime-time hours. It's probably ten times as worse in USA than it is in europe, but we still get fed a bucketload of reality soaps every damn year, and as time goes on, they start to repeat themselves. As a result, I don't watch much TV anymore. Smoking cigarettes - just a bad habit for people with exhaustive jobs and social life, who can't find anything else that can put their mind at ease. 10 minutes later, they're still feeling down. 30 years later - bedstricken by cancer, probably dead soon. Travelling abroad JUST to drink - WTF! Can't you just drink in a pub? Go see the world, visit attractions. Don't spend your time drinking cheap local beer in a park or something. You can do it at home just as well. And the drink tastes exactly the same after you're 5 bottles in already.
  19. As long as it's soft, and not lumpy, I'm fine with it. Though it cannot be too soft, else I junk sink into it and can feel the hard mattress under the pillow. At home, I actually stack up two pillows, because then it keeps my head level with the bed. One with a thicker part that's supposed to support your neck, and a cheap common pillow under it. With just one pillow, I sometimes get neck and shoulder aches in the morning.
