So I finally got around to doing Ritual of the Mahjarrat, and killed the Glacor during this battle (which I was later told I didn't need to kill), and it dropped me a pair of Glaiven boots + 3 Blue Charms. :D 7.3m for doing a quest, blues just under 2 herblore levels. :D:D

Granted. You are twisted through one piece of wood, and into another, with the intent of holding the tow pieces of wood in place. I wish RS has more Orange items.

Unlocked the ability to make and wear this today. Herblore was the last to get there. Why wouldn't they be

I used those instructions, I did something wrong...

A fire cape would be good for melee. (2.2% melee crit) ava's for ranging (1.4%+ mage crit. 3 tiers) god cape for maging. (2.5% mage crit) A cape of accomplishment (99 skill cape) also adds a 2% to all crits. Obsidian cape doesn't seem like a terrible option while working on upgrades though..

I can't remember if my last sighting of Trixstar was after Laikrob's post, but I seem to remember his postings were much less frequent here in recent years. I saw him in a clan of mostly adult players we were in, but I don't care to say more than that. Generally speaking, the generation gap gets to be too much after a while. Don't believe the stereotype that mortgage, spouse and/or kids ends the game time. For those of us still playing, there's often a difference in playing style, and so we may create some distance... e.g. things we are still interested in bore younger players, and what interests the younger players, we may find annoying or not our style. I met her in the dungeon south of Taverly, near blue dragons. Asked her what was up and she said she was gonna get 99 prayer.. I said good luck and we moved on.. haha

I have 6,446 orange capes. (7.6m worth ge price :P) I once bought 18k flour on an impulse buy, then proceeded to make 18k apple pies, from scratch, then cooked with magic. My bank is also littered with other orange items. (oranges, boater hats, snelms, flowers, had salamanders before getting hacked, anti-fire shields ((they used to be orange)))

I saw my brother playing it one day. He pretty much quit now though... He saw it from his friend from school.. Who is now my co-worker and best friend..

I keep thinking I understand it, then I second guess myself and get lost. So if i am attacking a melee target I have an Attack Rating of 373? My defense rating against a melee target is 436? I think typing that out just made it clear to me.. But I will post anyway, just to be sure. :) EDIT: what is a good number to have for an armor/defense rating? :S

You want a good guide? A good guide takes time to make? There is information to be gathered, tests to be ran on various items and skill variations, then organised it all and get it distributed. I didn't play very much around the time EoC was released, so when I started playing again I was completely lost. I just started looking through the skills and items and asked friends/clan mates when I got stuck. Just give it some time
