  1. No. It reminds me of some cartoons: Writing normally [hide] [/hide] Writing in large letters and using Caps lock [hide] [/hide] Hmmm, the scientific term is Hetrosexual-Homoromatist.
  2. I think Ico is an example of men in 50 years, severly bi-curious. Not sure if it is a good thing yet...on the one hand it leads to more acceptance for people of every sexuality...On the other hand it carries an increased risk of social collapse...
  3. Did Mather just imply that Chuck Norris has a form of insta-death-AIDS?
  4. *Rolle eyes* I think she knows that you know Christmas is coming up.
  5. Hmmmm, what she probably did was what technically inept people tend to be good at...She Broke the Computer. However the Computer, under direct instructions from Bill-Evil-Gates, had stopped working as part of its normal programming...Thus her breaking it resulted in it being fixed. Alternatively she arranged it with the Service Provided because her birthday is coming up and wants to make sure you get her something nice. As a thought...
  6. Translated to what Jen really means: You can donate to the ship fund in advance and Archi, who has nothing else to do, will make a record of that. Just posting this on the thread so I can say I told Archi to do it and that it isn't our fault that Archi didn't do it.
  7. Its mainly because of three things. One, God. Calling another male God is mildly questionable, and we(humans) tend to talk about food, sex and holy stuff as 'divine'...and you are far more likely to be talking about sex than eating him, which implies you have experienced sex with him, thus indicating homosexuality. Two, Dance. Male dancers tend to be considered gay...so..pretty self explanitory. Three, Enchanting. Describes magical objects(also linked to the Divine and God) and things we can't stop looking at. And things we can't stop looking at tends to be things we love...Insinuating homosexuality. Furthermore, for someone to be so good at dancing they are enchanting implies they are homosexual alot. Language is an amazing thing to behold...we make all sorts of assumptions based on words...But, I guess, if you got a dictionary and replaced each word with its defination....
  8. =P Thanks Theros(He says coming off an 8 hour session, the last two hours of which were operated in silence and with alternate eyes closed to conserve energy.) I think there are two requirements... First, you need an awesome group of people to play the game, plus Jen(I kid =P). Second you need a short term memory second to none.(Though mine died about three hours ago...possibly explaining why the session nosedived a bit then)
  9. Nero, yup, less staff in general.
  10. Sorry for the delay, trying to catch up on sleep but had waking dreams of the ISS Unity and Kirby Crews milling about and getting into trouble without me: /join #space9 tavern Log: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12603519/Space/Logs/%23space9.Tip.It.log
  11. Hail and Well met Drake. Ico...Thing called the inverse square law. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_square_law If you overcame that then the heat generated from the reflection would cause imperfections, destroying the reflectivity, allowing the light to be absorbed. Also moving a mirror at light speed poses significant problems. Check.
  12. Can do...though it would mean both would need to go in. Depends on the circumstances. If it was thrown...then probably basic Titanium It would depend, you said lots of small balls connected by chains. Rubber gloves to prevent the device shocking you. Nothing substantive.
  13. Nex, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_(electricity) Ok, but there is a chance that someone will only get hit with one or the other, not both.
  14. Nex, there is, its called an Earth, but you would need to have a wire in the target for the energy to flow to it.
  15. If addressed to me, which it would be, since there is no one else Gay here, that I know of anyway... And Why are bad riddles like deserted inkeepers? [hide] Because there is a host out and not one guest. [/hide]
  16. Metal does not ground you. It would be possible, you would just have to connect them to somewhere that the energy could disperse to afterwards. (Like static electricity)
  17. If they were grounded then they would probably die, if they were not then they would be barbed to two spheres...
  18. I make no comment on human behaviour, it is a subjective field, though I respect the laws of physics...and I am yet to see somewhere that I have ignored them?
  19. Electricity is harmless if it does not have a complete circuit to travel through, and Earth or Grounding is a zero-voltage point, completing the circuit. Ionic Disperser is a weapon that disables engines.
  20. Often my logic is accurate, which people see as wrong, since it does not conform to their world view.
  21. I have the power to frustrate people logically and simply...
  22. Which is causing feedback, destroying the hose. A: Yes...They could evolve into Carnivores...instantly. Do you understand how evolution works? B: Which is why plants have these things call seeds, which are evolved to grow after being digested...So there will always be plants, which mean the few animals that survived will have food...Natural selection 101. C: Natural Selection, the animals that don't eat the poison plants or the animals with natural resistences survive.
  23. The first is true. However randomly killing members of the Genus with a gun does not protect it, since the evolutionary development of bulletproof skin is unlikely. The entire species would not starve...the basic premise of natural selection. A glass, once broken by a hammer, cannot be fixed by hitting it again. Natural selection isn't, if you kill 10% of the population the other 90% are better.... Instead you are letting all the wildlife in Norway develop without the guiding hand of natural selection...the guiding hand which has created the human race...without the hand we are able to mutate viruses...not even create them, just mutate them.
  24. Indeed, though we have the excuse of being traditionalist idiots, you are trying to justify hunting as ethical.... Its sort of like a dictator that invades a country to set up a dictatorship because another country set up a democracy and someone killed all the elected officals. It stops the short term problems, but the long term damage is far greater.
  25. Indiscriminate killing of animals is NOT a good replacement.
