The End of the Beginning
Archimage Aquan Aquana Female Shoulder length hair, dark auburn, the hair always looks as though the wind has just caught hold of the tips, pushing them up and back. Bluish Purple Skin, the main tone is that of the Ocean, the purple more of a sheen. Eyes that look like moss covered well shafts, a mass of green with brown highlights, with an endless pool of black at the core. Strangely tall, with a slight build, though muscular. An azure aura, barely noticable, surrounds her, it ripples gently like water. Her armour is polished gold, more for decoration than protection, it would seem. Beneath the armour cloth garments cover her particulars, while her stomach, upper torso, and legs are unobstructed. Weapons: None apparent, though a Goldern Scabbard with Dagger is present on the belt piece. ____ Aquan lent against a lamp post, draining energy from it. Living on a world, a world like this, the concrete jungle, with ropes of plastic coated copper, it was different from Syra... the weapons that people carried too, were strange, though the firearm had been invented many years ago, they had resorted to narrow steel and tungsten blades, some razor edged with diamonds. It was a strange world, a strange world in a strange time, but as she stood their, leaning on the lamp post, the power coursing in her veins, she felt strangely calmed by this world. For, as she stood opposite the diner, she saw life...Even with their war, their weapons and their woe, these people lived. As the sun encroached on the world the power in the lamp post switched itself off. Aquan felt a slight pang of withdrawal, but soon broke into a stride, taking off down the sidewalk, knowing that life continued.

Hegemony Ship to Ship combat training
Because Earth has pretty much been done? There is not a whole lot more we could do on Earth, we can build massive fortresses, hide behind them, and attack each other, but thats about it. I am trying to keep space vast enough to take a long time to colonise, so people who want to stay on Earth get the most out of the game, but really, with Europe in top dog position, controling half, if not more of the world's money, no one is going to start another war with them for a long time. I think people are coming to the same conclusion, hence why they are trying to get off Earth, they want to get themselves into the best position to fight the next war, rather than the desperate positions they were in last time.

Hehe, I wonder if Africa ever wanted aid? Tough, Europe was gonna give it to them  Anywho, if Rocco doesn't want it then he doesn't have to have it.

Took control of most of Carrot's territory, same place your 44 billion came from.

How much is up to you, but currently the colony doesn't generate any IAG(just RUs), so it will just sit their looking helpless.

You are gonna need to send a ship to Mars with Monies onboard then. Also, did you send me a picture of your colony vessel, or did you go with the cheap option?

Hegemony Ship to Ship combat training
Yes.... Anywho, if people want to have an oversimple system of Ship Attacks Ship, then that is fine, but the option is here to have a more engaging and considerably better system. Also, Hex, get lost. We are not talking about two supergeniuses composing fracal algorithems or something. We are talking about Hegemony, a game of overwhelming complications, which no one notices because no one takes the time to look at it.

No, seems fine, can you send me two ships, the specifics are on the pm.

Ross, I don't mind you pushing, it is good to have your ideas challanged.

Rocco... Overcomplication means two people have talked about something, rather than one person(me) having thought about stuff and just posted a very small summery of ideas, and then spends the next few weeks slowly revealing the whole idea.

I don't really see how it would be more fun? Potentially for me, but for everyone else they send their shiny ships into battle and then are told they either got blown up or didn't get blown up. Anywho 'finding where to shoot from most efficently' is the kind of lapse in tactical insight that comes out during battles(Sorry if that sounds condersending, I am not sure what it is lately). Trying to fly into the weak spot of a ship, when you have momentum pulling you ever which way, and the other ship is spinning, moving and firing back at you, is a complicated manuevour, and, in many cases, blasting the ship from any location is easier and better.

You made the deal, not me. If you want your IAG back you are gonna have to ask Grim. Since you have an agreement I am sure he will give it back at the right time*Snig-gers*
-
Hegemony
Right....No, that is a particularly annoying way of doing it, and it makes no difference to how the game is played. 'I want money from someone so I can give it back to them'
-
Hegemony
Retech- Was 800 billion, then you gave 300 million to Grim for use of Quebec and such.

Biodome research makes them more resilliant to MFW attack, by about 1 kilotonne per level, it also potentially makes them cheaper, by 20 billion per every other level. Room temperature superconductors is either Ross' project and he pays for it, or your project and you pay for it. If he wants to send you the money to cover the research that is fine.

Hegemony Ship to Ship combat training
Not neccessarily. Its a common misconception(in sea combat at least) that fleets would face off and then destroy each other. Alot of the time vessels would trade shots and then grapple with each other. Sinking a ship was considered as a hollow victory, since it took a hell of alot of effort to build a ship, and to have it destroyed...well... Anywho, if I knew your tactic would be to attack where my armour was weak I would develop shields, put a thin layer of armour over the front of my ship and massive lasers either side. Behind it I would probably put a room full of foam. While you are laying into my soft underbelly finding only fat, I am lasering through your tough hide, finding your heart. Also, as eluded to, the weakest armoured area might not be particularly important, hence why it is under armoured. If you have to plug away for 30 rounds one you are through the weak armour, but only 3 rounds once you are through the strong armour, it makes more sense to hack away at the armoured section. But yeah, if people couldn't do rounds of combat for some reason(Busy, the person they are against is in an inconveinant timezone, I am unavailable for some days) I am sure I could arbitarily decide.

Yes, yes, we both feel silly because we were both immature.

As Archi and Dusty duel pointless, life goes on for everyone else. Morale of the story: Don't be immature, you end up feeling silly.

Been there, done that. Thats nice, the people you didn't take it from have decided to keep it. They then chase you off their premises.
