  1. Well we all get the results, which ought to be useful if Retech destroys Earth with Algae...or CO2...Or Pakistan with Nukes...or Israel with the same...its looking pretty much like the end is neigh...Could be that the teams have to repopulate Earth.
  2. Oddly enough I am not counting myself as a team  So its three teams and the people who will actually be flying and conducting a fairly large number of Experiments
  3. Its good...best Soap Opera out there anyway....
  4. Good point, Eastenders FTW!
  5. Mather I am fully capable of Space Flight, but you can make up the three I am taking into Space as requiste by the UN... The Ship will be leaving in 2018 and arriving in 2025. Be sure to prep your teams by then. There will be a short stop over at the moon base before we depart, so that your guys and gals can get used to space flight. You will also get to see some of my P-Jets in action, which should be awesome.
  6. Switzerland and the the Romanian Delegation set up a number of meetings with the Austro-Hungarian states to finalise the set up. Its more 5 Billion a year to South Africa with only Gold as your return...if you plan to then spend that 5 Billion of Gold then no worries, though if you do that then nothing has really changed, but stockpiling it would mean less money in circulation, meaning less would get done. Alla Adam Smith Unless of course you increased the value of your money as you were doing it, but then you would end up giving South Africa 90 Billion for 5 Billion Dollars worth of Gold. OR You print more money, but this would wipe out people's savings and would make your goods less competitive abroad...which is fairly important if you plan to become the next Switzerland. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/3300/3300-h/3300-h.htm#2HCH0006 Specifically implying that notes do not neccessarly have to equal the amount of Gold in your bank...Thus exchanging Notes for Gold is a little like shooting yourself in the foot...though is far more sensible in the long term, in the short term you are screwed.
  7. Nah its run by the University...and they have already said no. So I am circumnavigating the firewall...With a 68% success rating. Problem is a failure means Star Trek Online is Star Trek Offline for hours. Sides its spread across 500 ports...and we get 100 unblocked. The Answer? Set up four computers(The max allowed) with different ports allowed. So now I have 320 unblocked(Due to update servers and stuff that is constant) And best of all it doesn't cost any extra because all I have to do is change the Mac Address! I fear, well unless I can convince someone else to let me use their login details, that this is the best it is gonna get....Fortunately I might know just such a person.
  8. It might be best. The general area is very hostile to you as a 'lesser' creature and pretty much every chance they get to enslave you they will.
  9. Ok stats have been updated. Ross should be doing tonight so probably with his rule of 3.
  10. Its more research on Mars and astronomical data, my space tech is pretty much isolated from everyone else.
  11. Yeah, but with the rest of the world hating me, my economy collapsing from the inside out and the big waves of Xenophobia...As well as the massive focus on defence, not offence, it just wouldn't be feasible for me to ally with anyone. If I still had my nerve gas then yeah, I would have no problem with helping you out as the world's predominate air-power....But without it bombing the hell out of things just isn't the same. Oh, do you want to be part of my Space Program?
  12. Yeah...shows how highly Ross values me <_< If we were starting now I would probably ally with you, just because I am a small country with big ideas, and your a big country with lots ot territory. Goes together like Cream and...well anything to be honest =P And Penguins's country, obviously
  13. Ok then... http://maps.sgu.se/sguinternetmaps/fodd/viewer.htm http://www.ngu.no/en-gb/hm/Resources/Metaller/ More useful sites http://en.gtk.fi/ExplorationFinland/fodd/ http://en.gtk.fi/ExplorationFinland/fodd/large_unexploited_deposits_20090120.htm http://en.gtk.fi/ExplorationFinland/fodd/potentially_large_unexploited_deposits_20090120.htm http://en.gtk.fi/ExplorationFinland/fodd/large_mines_20090120.htm Thus: [hide][/hide] Thus: At max, you are producing 529.2 Tonnes of Silver and 29.68 Tonnes of Gold, per year. Right lectures, toodle pip.
  14. Oddly enough that isn't terribly helpful. I will search.
  15. I am not saying you have to. There are merely consquences. How much is produced by Scandinavia?
  16. The Swiss Government says no. Mather, if you are personally buying the gold then you are not buying Gold from elsewhere, meaning there is a glut in the market.
  17. Then Dusty is totally screwed.
  18. Nah, was wrong, at current prices it amounts to 8 billion.
  19. So you are buying 5 billion dollars worth of Gold a year...I don't think that the 273 Tonnes amounts to that...might be wrong though.
  20. The price of Silver has been set at 15 USD per Ounce. Gold prices decline with Scandinavia providing Gold again and are now 920 USD (Unless the USA declares war on someone, or someone starts selling massive amounts of Gold or something like that, it won't go beneath 500. Also please note that the price of Gold is still inflated from the 2007 to current recession, despite widespread recover...no one is quite sure why, lets just hope the bubble doesn't burst.). Gold prices look set to decline to around 800 USD per ounce over the next few years as currencies stablise, as Scandinavia produces more Gold. (I will update the front page in a moment. If anyone has a problem with the whole 'Price of Gold thing' then please talk to me, I am just doing it because, I have an interest in ecocomics, I have my modly powers and Sere isn't a wizz with economics.) In Swiss news Steven Newton has set up Newtonian Computers and it has incorporated in Bern. It only sells to Switzerland, uptake has been limited thus far, but being it has been open for the best part of 5 seconds this is unsurpising. Analysts indicate that all foreign computers will be removed by 2019, simply due to them being out of date. The Swiss Computers make use of the S-Net Operating system, though courses in computer programming are becoming increasingly common and so analysts indicate that by 2019 computers Swiss computer interfaces and application lists will be so incredibly diverse that compatibility issues will almost certainly exist. To prevent the break down of society(by not being able to get onto Facebook...EVIL SITE!!! <_< ) some clever open source user has written a nice little program which runs from Kernal and allows S-Net to work. As such it is coming with all Newtonian Computers. In trivia the Newtonian Computers are the first computers to use Oil-Free Plastics, though the majority still use oil based plastics as cost is still somewhat prohibitive....though people who care about the environment don't make much distinction....The Middle Class don't mind either. Switzerland has invited a SSR delegation to Zurich to discuss a gradual hand over of the international baton of banking. While Switzerland is perfectly happy to maintain(by which I mean allow, not pay maintaince fees and what not) all current companies, it understand that the minefields, increasing Xenophobia and recent history may loosen ties. Thus it is felt that if a civil and stable transferance of economic hegemony(you know what I mean) will protect world finacial institutions, without upsetting the balance and causing a massive market crash as people buy and sell madly. (Owing to a company making a loss during the change over, appearing to be failing and thus losing credibility, and stock support.) Permits have been issued for the delegation and the SSR delegation has been offered use of a Stratos Jet to enter Switzerland. Also on the table is the issue of electricity, as it seems the power line though Austria and Hungery is not particularly safe, given the massive voltages, and these two countries have expressed concerns over being able to keep the powerline operating admids fears of it killing people...which seem fairly reasonable. Switzerland wishes to know Romanian opinion on how to proceed. (NB http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_radiation_and_health )
  21. To drop kick tthe Star Trek online server. 1 in 5 chance my foot! 5 days, 5 18 minute periods of activity before they switched ports! 5 8 Am starts to deal with the damned firewall! Seriously. Worst setup ever. At least with Runescape you knew where you stood...when you logged on you were probably going to be able to play for more than 18 minutes before finishing in one area and beiing forced to take the rest of the day off! Can you imagine trying to play RS where you need a different port everytime you use a ladder, walk more than 500 paces, enter a new area or flipping get a cut scene! And if you get a duff connection you are screwed for the next 6 or 8 hours, and if you fail again you are screwed for the next 16 or 14! Seriously pushes the tolerable bounderies I am willing to go to....
  22. Sere- Probably easier to use, just copy and paste the thing to move the slider. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=180964
  23. Panama is on the opposite side of the world to India.
  24. "My fellow Americans, we are changing all of our fuel to green Biodiesel. Anyone with Wikipedia(Everyone now that S-Net is online, though the new Paradigm Online is currently poaching a lot of its users due to more advanced graphics, tags and ect) can see we have raised taxes, oh, and now none of our oil is home produced. We are at the mercy of Japan, I hereby declare today to be Pearl Habour 2.0."
