Holy [cabbage] man, you should put that to a game company  Wii would be the PERFECT system to use that one, the level on interactivity would essentially milk millions just off the HP name alone. No kidding, it's a shame the idea isn't mine. After my roomate saw the first demo on the Wii's controller (from TGS 2005). He literally dropped the cookie he was eating and was like: "omg... can you imagine a a Harry Potter game?! *whistle* ...Sony's screwed."

It is too soon to tell the winner. >360 has huge library already and it's online services have been perfected. >PS3 has blueray, the possibility of superb graphics, but most imporatly it has the name "playstation" literally millions will buy it just because they had the ps2 >Wii is a bit different. It's cheap, attracts a different crowd, the news media loves it, and game developers have nothing but praise and promises of a multitude of games to come. -Most notably though, due to its different controller, the Wii will have hundreds of exclusive games. Currently people buy a PS2 to play stuff like GTA and Final fantasy since its exclusive to the system. People don't buy the PS2 to play "Shrek 2" since any 'ol system can play it. The 360 and PS3 will split the buyers who want to buy traditional games. The Wii, with its separate controller scheme, will have a monopoly over it's genre and will likely be the 2nd system that most 360 and PS3 buyers will end up getting. Also I believe/hope that in a year or so developers will come up with some really sweet ideas for the Wiii. I mean, look at the potential... - Advanced sports games like golf and tennis. Like WiiSports but much more in depth and advanced, allowing stuff like spin. - real lightsaber/sword battles, even online . People could actually become "world renowned (online) swordsmen". A bit cooler then the RS highscores. - Harry Potter games, a 1st person adventure where you need to actually do the spells. That entails saying them correctly (hello microphone) and do the correct wrist flick to cast any of hundreds of spells. You could even have it like in the books where you can attend classes and learn/practice any spell from a list of hundreds, not knowing which one you will need later on... I mean I'm not a big Potter fan but that game... would... rock. :D

Ahh he knows! :ohnoes: lol. Well, phpBB doesn't like spaces. In order for it to recognize the fact that I want to put a extra line in there, I just put in two 1 pixel pictures. :-w

iris scanner, because its so hard to conceal and so unneccessarily high tech Heh, iris scan opening mechanism to open a super-hidden cleaning closet. Hmm, it would be amusing to hide toilets and bathrooms with secret doorways and then laugh when your guests are desperately searching for them (moby does this too :P ) Yea, then after they can't find it get up and be like "Duh, the bathroom is right here, all you have to do is knock on this mirror three times, wait 3.5 seconds and then knock twice more  " lol

Yea, its right out of those "Myst" games. Especially the ones where you have to do something, like set a clock, and then a wall panel slides to show a hidden keypad. Enter the right code (usually found in a journal nearby in the games) and suddenly the clock slides back showing a staircase that leads to a time machine or something ^_^
-
What do you reckon the best opening mechanism is? I think the bookshelf has to have the book, but the clock hands or the one where you have to knock a little melody is nice since its impossible to find, lol.
-
Lol, I forgot about that song, but it's sweet! Cole's version is cool because he really emphasizes the syllable breaks. Sounds like he's singing while riding a really bumpy train or something :)

Wow, nice idea for number 2. Good points on both, you don't want people to notice the extra wall. I would probably do it in a way that the secret room less than 6x6 feet. Just a small room where I keep all a safe and a shelf/bookcase full of my gadgets.

Fun, useless but nevertheless entertaining fact of the day!

The Yucatan peninsula is the same deal. Yucatan means "we don't understand (you)" in Mayan. Maybe true but the Sumerians beat them both. I call shenanigans. -
Bah, the bookcase (2nd sweetest one after the clock I would say) is only $4,500. Houses cost hundreds of thousands, I mean heck an alarm system costs like 8 grand to wire, this is half the cost and I think a lot more secure... not to mention sweet. And as the site points out it will drastically increase the resale value of the house.
-
Holy, wow! I want... no I am getting one of these when I build my house!!! I don't want to spoil it, read everything on the site Okay, now for those who read up on it, is that not the sweetest thing you ever saw?! I mean flip through the catalog, page 4 has all the opening mechanisms Dibs on the clock, that when set to midnight, leads to a hidden staircase \

Cancer cells are immortal to natural death. Put one in a petri dish and come back in 10,000 years... it will still be alive. :uhh: -
RARW CHRONO TRIGGER :):) Man, you know a real game :-) I hope Wii has some new gameplay orientated games though. Non of that graphics roolz crap. I want gameplay not only graphics...That's why i play Chrono :-) Agreed. I hope they more more real RPGs. The last few Final Fantasy games have been kinda... eh. I mean the graphics are fantastic but they seem to focus more on including more and more hot teenage girls (Yuna/Rikku anyone?) then they care about making a challenging game. Anyone remember Final Fantasy II for SNES? (aka FF IV in Japan) That game was hard. It was so fun though, I mean you had to spend hours leveling up just to barely make it past a certain tough boss. Now "RPGs" like FFX are like: -Watch cutscene with Yuna flirting with your main guy -Get though a cave, fight and easily kill two dozen random battles -Watch another cut scene -Kill the boss, you rarely loose even though you literally spent no time actually training. You only fight people if they get in your way in between cut scenes. -Boss dies, watch a cut scene with Yuna dancing and more flirting. - - - - - I mean, the games are fun to play, don't get me wrong, but they're really a completly different genre from games like Chrono Trigger or Dragon Warrior. /bought "Final Fantasy I & II" for GBA three days ago

??? who wud u get? Stephen King. i checked but no stephen king :S why did u lie to me? Because I thought it was quite clear enough that by searching "Viktorkrum" on google, you would get Viktor Krum. I guess it was difficult to figure out then. Wow, for really no reason that made me actually laugh out loud. Good stuff.

I use AIM but love MSN MSN is nice and organized, AIM is way to basic but most annoyingly I keep forgetting who is who. With over 80 people on there and everyone having nonsensical names... you don't want to know how many times I mistook someone for someone else and said the wrong thing #-o -

Yup, finals week starts in 9 days. Not going to be fun, lol. you rock loge I don't know. Thanks for clearing up all the spam loge, I know it took a good chunk of time. But a temp ban on Blue after she posts an apology? I agree it was a bit cocky at the end of the post but the first half of it was one of the most apologetic and understanding posts I have ever read on any forum, anywhere. And a temp ban for posting it? :| *shakes head sadly*
