  1. Lol, hooray free loaders! Yea, I admit, same deal here. In know my roommate wants one I'm holding off. I am however, buying my own controller, no need to mooch off him entirely.
  2. 100% agreed. Ingenious really.
  3. Pretty big a manager (soccer) from Scotland I think
  4. I'm pretty pumped that this is the 3rd result. The fist two are mine (hurray my contributions to the tip.it times \ ) I see why... ;)
  5. Ooh. I thought you did too when registering. :( Not exactly. In 1999 when I was making a hotmail (trapical_island_waters)address, yea I did accidentally spell spell it wrong. I realized it a month later and then just shortened it to [email protected] That email address was abandoned years ago but the name stuck with me and I use it for anything and everything internet related. It has never been taken by anyone before... until now
  6. Hmmm... *wonders if I can take that as a compliment...* Meh, it could be a new look.
  7. Okay, okay, so you know how people search their RL names on google to see if they're popular? I searched for "trapical" just for kicks and after filtering out the people who spelled tropical wrong... :wall: :wall:
  8. It was "meh" for me. Little to no action. -15 minute parkour scene at the beginning (action) -Hour and a half of casino talk, (story building)) -10 minute ending scene (action) And no gadgets? What's up with that? I mean Bond films defined what an action movie is. There have been hundreds of movies that try to "be like a bond film". Its practically its own genre. And this movie was not in that genre.
  9. Surprise, surprise! It's that time of year... again. Anyway we've all heard the songs, from "Jingle Bells" to "Frosty the Snowman" but the real question is, what's the original/best version of these songs? I'm trying to obtain an extensive mp3 collection of the Christmas songs. For example, over 75 people have recorded Jingle Bells but I want the version that is most familiar. I think we could all benefit from this project and we all just need to contribute a few details. Here's my knowledge for starters: Jingle Bells - Dean Martin Feliz Navidad - Jose Feliciano Jingle Bell Rock - Bobby Helms Happy Holidays - Andy Williams Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives Carol of the Bells - John Williams Frosty The Snowman - Jimmy Durante Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - Gene Autry Santa Clause Is Coming To Town - Bing Crosby Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCartney ~Added songs~ Let it Snow - Dean Martin White Christmas - Bing Crosby God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Nat King Cole The Christmas Song (Chestnuts...) - Nat King Cole All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey Sleigh Ride - Ella Fitzgerald Last Christmas (I Gave You My Heart) - Wham So This Is Christmas - John Lennon Fairytale of New York - The Pogues Silent Night - Bros Thank God Its Christmas - Queen I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday - Wizzard Merry Christmas Everybody - Slade Mistletoe and Wine - Cliff Richards My Christmas List - Simple Plan Can anyone add to this?
  10. *raises hand* Lol, same deal here. I bought the game for a friend but he bought one off eBay by the time I told him. I was going to return the game but decided I'll want it once I get a Wii  Oh, you'll want it - I can guarantee that. Super monkey ball and Tony Hawk feel like complete trash compared to zelda. I must have played them under an hour cumulatively, while I've put around 16 hours into Zelda. It's just so hard to put that controller down. I'm thinking I might get Marvel: Ultimate Alliance also since TW was my birthday present from march. Has anyone played it? I heard it was pretty decent, but check IGN or something before you buy it
  11. Good to hear the game is awesome, I knew ninty could pull it off  Oh and the reason it came out for the Wii first was a marketing move, people who really want to play it right away will have to buy a Wii. If it came out on GC first people would see the Wii version later on and say "that's lame, I already played that game on my old system..."
  12. Tacos. Nothing against the Ps3 but in 30 years what would you rather have? Tacos or an ancient system? I mean picture this taking place 8 years ago: "what you rather have: a N64 or a lifetime of tacos?" Around now you would feel pretty stupid for picking the N64
  13. *raises hand* Lol, same deal here. I bought the game for a friend but he bought one off eBay by the time I told him. I was going to return the game but decided I'll want it once I get a Wii
  14. Oh facts huh? Personal accounts are now considered facts? Sure, well then a recorded online pollon a neutral site is "FACT" I'm sorry but just exactly how is this less reputable then your informal report a single high school. GameFAQS is one of the largest sites for consol gamers on the net. You know, gamers? The people who buy the systems... Yea thats the funny thing. This isn't a Nintendo forum. For you to find Sony fans you need to go to a Sony fan site. Whereas Wii fans are everywhere. Check the Ebaum's forums: Wii fans. Check the StudentDoctor forums: Wii fans. Check the LaserCommunity forums: Wii fans. Oh and check the Tip.it forums: Wii fans. So, yea go and play in the Sony forum while the rest of the net agrees with pretty much all the pollsI have seen online
  15. Well the US has over 70% of its land undeveloped. That means no farms, no roads, no houses, no pastures. Nothing. We got some time yet
  16. PS3 is ALOT better! Uh, I wouldn't go that far. The 360 is a pretty serious piece of hardware. Its twin processors are nearly as fast as the Core and its graphics card is actually a little bit better. Yes the PS3 is a bit more powerful overall but the 360 already has an extensive game library and Xbox Live is a tested and tried great online service. I mean, the original Xbox and even the GameCube were superior to the PS2 in graphics and look how they all matched up in the end. If they all cost the same, I would have to say that yes, I would choose the PS3 but I think saying "is ALOT better!" is pushing it :?
  17. LMAO At first I was like, what? Then I noticed the customer images \
  18. I think a lot of people are attracted to fame since it is the closet thing to immortality. After these people die they will still be well known. Also women look at actresses since as girls they always hear stories of princesses. Celebrities are the closest thing.
  19. Oh, yea http://ld4all.com/guide.html]Lucid Dreaming[/url]. Those are fun, rare but fun. Anyway dreams are pretty weird, I never head of a 21 day dream before though, I didn't even think that as possible :-s Personally, whenever I have a cool dream I do a voice recording of it and then encrypt it and store it on my computer. I have over a hundred now, dating back several years. Its amazing how often you have fun dreams, normally it seems you forgot over 90% of them in the 45 seconds after you wake up unless you think it over or record it. Only once had I remembered a dream several hours later after not even thinking it over once I woke up. It was about this girl that I have had a crush on for some time. At around 1pm I saw here and literally had a 5 second flashback of the dream in which we were dating. I snapped out of it and was kinda freaked out because I literally lost consciousness for several seconds (thankfully I didn't fall over). On reflection I was also weirded out because the dream seemed so insignificant I don't even recall ever thinking about it in the morning.
  20. Ha, this is funny. I literally just had an exam on Springs, Friction, and Gravity. I'm in college mind you, but we never really got much into compression for some reason. Anyway here's what I see that's amiss, the first calculation in each: -Initial potential energy of 5cm compressed spring: PE=(1/2)kx^2 = (1/2)(180N/m)(.05m)^2 = .225 J -Force required to compress spring to 5cm: Fp = k*x = (180 N/m)(.05m) = 9 N Something has to be wrong there. The rest of the calculations check out. But just what exactly... I can't put my finger on it :?
  21. Uh, not that many people on eBay are buying these things. The $10,000+ sales are probably all fakes, I mean first off, most of the 'buyers' are new eBay users. Secondly, there are a bunch of sales with a $5,000 autowin... Now please explain to my why you a prospective buyer would go from a $2,000 to $10,000 bid; especially if you can easily get one for 5,000? The bottom line is a lot of people are pissed at the people who bought systems just to Ebay them, so they are sabotaging as many auctions as they can. Anyone with a hotmail address and a library can make a anonymous eBay account. In fact as I look though eBay its hard to find any auction that have a bid over 3 grand and aren't fake. Even the ones around 2.6 are a bit shaky
  22. Phew, thank god that was censored. Now lets get to those important, non censored topics like "Can you eat in the morning?"
  23. That's odd, leave the area completely and return. Also there may be a hidden little alcove in the maze that you have to get into in order to attract the monkey. So go through it very throughly, feeling your way through the entire thing.
