I think theres something wrong with your link. Firstly, it brings up a Spanish Ebay. Secondly, my limited knowledge of Spanish tells me the message is saying that the page is not functioning or available.

We had to call the cops and have a guy arrested outside of Circuit City tonight for trying to pick a fight with the guys in line. It was pretty entertaining! :P

My friend works at Target security, and they had to go break up lines of people who were going to camp out the night waiting to get a PS3

Weither the PS3 is good or not. It's just ridiculous to spend 15.000 dollar on a console. Not on an X-box, not on a Wii and not on a PS3. Unless you've got way too much money on hands of course. But you might as well wait a few weeks and buy one for the normal price and give the remaning money to charity.

The only people buying a PS3 at more than 10x the price are...

1. People with no self-discipline in handling finances.

2. Greedy and would rather buy a PS3 than waiting a month, buying the PS3, then giving the rest of the money away to a charity organization.

3. People who are under the influence at the time.

Its definitely just a couple of friends making up a fake "exchange." That would be all set up, no one can be that impatient to spend that much on one.

Fake stuff like that happens a fair bit, for instance my friend bought an "air guitar" off my other friend for $20 000. on Ebay

What I don't understand is why so many people are lining up outside these shops even when some are guaranteed to not get a console.

Then again, you have to be pretty stupid to line up in the first place, so maybe they don't realise.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

While I agree with you, I feel sad for those people who laughed at the re-sellers and said "nobody is going to pay extra just to get a PS3 early, moron".

The $30k auction is fake, but check the bid history of the one Nadril posted. It's legitimate. There are some people with a lot of money that are willing to spend $15,000 on a console.

Nevermind the fact you could just wait a bit and spend that $15,000 on buying EVERY game the PS3 has and will ever have.

Yours truly,

Mad bids! lol

Two of my brothers left early this morning to a shop that's located in the middle of no where, hoping that no one else knows about it. I highly doubt they'll get one or even 2 since that was their plan. >.<

Most people I think, are buying them and then selling them afterwards.

lol :anxious:

That is insane, but has to be some kind of joke bid? Seriously, can't people wait just a bit to get it for a lower price? Not to mention, who knows how many bugs Sony still has to fix on the new PS3s.

I agree, and what makes it stranger still is that on the bid history, it gos from 2,000 something to 15,000. :|

Bleh, once I get off my lazy bum and go to Imageshack, there will be a picture here.
