I don't know, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t find that book that fascinating really. I read a lot of Tom Clancy books, this guy writes a lot books and they all rock. I mean who hasn't heard of the following: -Patriot Games -Rainbow Six -Hunt for the Red October -Clear and Present Danger -Sum of All Fears -Executive Orders People like Clancy or Steven King have experience and write well put together stuff. Then Dan Brown comes out of nowhere and EVERYONE in my school read his book saying its god and the best book ever written. I ask what other adult fiction books they read and besides books for English class they list none. My point: Yes I know DaVinci Code is a good book with a detailed plot, but so are most books labeled Adult Fiction. Read something else on its level to compare it to, you can't compare DaVinci Code to Beowulf and Tom Sawyer excerpts

do you wanna live in the desert? there's no reason for them to leave their land (promised to them by god). they have the right to stay where they are. how would you react in a situation like this Let me put in in perspective for you on the Muslim's side. For over two thousand years your family has lived on a certain piece of land. There have been wars in the past that your ancestors died in protecting this piece of land. Then one day some foreigner comes along... Them: "Hey infidel! Get off my property! My god gave me this land!" You: I have lived here all my life. My ancestors have lived here the past two millennia, or the past seventy generations. Them: "Well, uh my relatives lived here way before hand. Oh and several thousand miles away a good number of us were killed by this guy. He's dead now but now we want this land as well for payment of our dead relatives." You: I wasn't involved in that war. Them: Too bad. Leave your houses now before we have our big brother come over here and beat you up (US troops arrive...) - - - - As my history teacher explained, the war in Iraq wasn't about oil or profit for Bush. Christ the war is expected to cost over a trillion dollars. Can you imagine that? You could give one million people one million dollars and it would cheaper. *whistle* So uh, how is this profiting Bush? Then you have Israel, a country that shouldn't even exist that the US defends due to the thousands of Jewish politicians and actors that sway public opinion. It was said that the Jewish rule the world by proxy, influencing great nations to do their dirty work for them. Ask a Jihad terrorist why he hates America, a country that donates more then any other country, a country who's doctors and the CDC save hundreds of millions of lives preventing Ebola outbreaks and improving healthcare, and a country that gives food and supplies to impoverished Muslim countries. Jihadists will immediately say "America defends Israel. Countless brethren of mine have died due to American missiles, tanks, and F-16s with the Israel flag on them." Who knows, if it wasn't for Israel maybe 9-11 would not have happened. Many specialists also assumed that the US attacked Iraq because Saddam had missiles that could attack Israel and Rumsfeld is Jewish.

How is that a pentagram? If you look at the "V" they guy just drew those lines through buildings, they don't excist. Without them it looks like a coat hanger. An evil coat hanger maybe :? And Pentagrams need a circle around it, shown above is just a 5 point star that teacher's put on student's papers all the time. Lol.

I have known about Karma since 5th grade but I never really swear by it. I do good things for a different reason... but come to think of it, it is kind of related to Karma... *flashback* A few months ago I was related to a large senior prank and afterwards there was a huge police investigation. I was interrogated but in the end I got away scott free. I thought crudely along the lines of "well I deserve getting away with it, I'm not a bad kid. Why I always try to be good... for example I... uh... crap." I couldn't think of a single good deed I did recently and that made me sad. College started and things change. Just two weeks ago I found a 512 USB drive in a computer lab after hours, I didn't even remotely think of keeping it. I booted it up and found literally hundreds of homework papers and diagrams dating back several years and after examining its massively scratched surface I realized it was very worn and probably treasured by its owner. I found a last name, searched our school's directory and emailed the supposed owner saying I found a drive and I'm going to leave it hidden behind a certain computer in the corner. He replied the next day... "That was pretty cool of you to think about me and stash it. That took amazing selflessness, a quality that seems to foment on this campus. I walked right over and picked it up. Thanks a bunch... say hey to me next time we pass each other so I can thank you personally. May Bless You and Keep You in His Graces." I think that beats any amount of money I could have found on the ground as a result of karma.

LOL, I don't 100% agree with this pic but its too precious to pass up ^^

Ah, looks like you spoke too soon! I found the GameFAQ's polls informative as to what the public thinks, that site is as diverse as you can get. Last week's thoughts about the Wii Current thoughts on Wii Who do you think will dominate E3? Who did dominated E3?

No. They're still alive right now and nver had any of those stuff. Dude if we wanted we could kill every animal on the planet in a day. The only reason we havent is becuase were more advanced, because we can think. Your arguments that animals are better suited to live in the wild are unsound. You are only looking at one part of an organism, its physique. Are humans that can run fast more advanced then everyone else? Acording to the arguements in these thread, then yes, they are.

Holy crap, speechless. The Wario part was kinda lame but the graphics on the rest were totally unexpected! And Snake in a Nintendo game? Wow, I was wishing for Sephiroth and Cloud to be in Melee and actually emailed the game developers who replied "We love the idea and have definatly attemped it, but its impossibly messy having a different company involved, even the basic question on who gets what royalties and such makes it to hard to implement" Anyway, wow way to go Nintendo! *applause*

Just Announed: PS3 will cost $999 AUS ($650 for cheaper version)
-
Wow, this is most pro-PS3 thread I have seen on the 7 forums I have browsed. I warn you I am a bit bias towards Nintendo, but I still own a PS2 and really love the 360 (Played over 400 hours of Perfect Dark, Call of Duty and Oblivion). Points I wish to add: 1. - Sony's controller with tilt was just completed 15 days before E3, there original had nothing remotely like it planned beforehand. How can anyone honestly say they didn't decide to do this after they saw Nintendo's controller and said "Good concept... hey see if we can add that to ours, we still have a few months before E3 right? Good..." 2. - Unlike the 'core' and 'premium' Xboxes, you can't upgrade to the full cheaper version if you buy the cheaper Ps3. If you buy the $600 one and you get an HD TV you'll have to buy an entire new system for $700. :/ 3. - I honestly find myself loosing more and more respect for Sony everyday of E3. I'm apparently not the only one. Sony's tactics are really pissing off game developers: From Maxconsole.com: 4. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ The PS3's controller does have tilt but that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s it. As stated before Nintendo̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s has tilt, motion, voice, and forward and backwards. Anyone remotely interested should read IGN̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s exclusive review of the Metroid Prime. Great review of how you use the controller: http://revolution.ign.com/articles/706/706030p1.html 5. - Are there many Mario games, yes. However they aren't all the same thing, you can't say MarioKart, Mario Tennis, Mario Party, Luigi's Mansion, and Mario Sunshine are all sequels to Mario 64. They are not sequels, they are completely different games. -Oh and Opera just announced a partnership with Nintendo. The Wii will be able to browse the internet with a new Opera browser. Opera will also create software for the DS that allows web browsing. -Oh and Spore is going to be priceless. I'm willing to pay 100$ for it.
-
EDIT*
-
No, No, ready for this guys... What do you call the controller for the Wii? The Wii-mote! LOL! Classic!

And it's ours, all ours  Yea jeez, and since a recent discovery of a massive mine deposit you also have like 90% of the worlds Titanium stores, we all know Titanium as the godly metal used in all space craft and/or anything else that wants to be awesome. In 200 years Austraila will have some fun

Why did they make this movie? Discovery Channel already released "The Flight that Fought Back" on 9/11/05 Its a great movie about flight 93. There is no need for 2 movies on 1 hijaking to be released within 8 months of each other. Maybe a 2nd one could be made in like 2025, but 8 monthes later? Come on.

I say up with the nuclear power. A golf ball sized chunk of U-238 can run a nuclear submarine for 7 monthes. There are several billion tons of uranium in the Australia, Canada, Russia, and the US (countries listed biggest to smallest in terms of Uranium stores). Its also extremly safe, nuclear plants can't explode, they can melt like the one at 3 mile island did, but now days thats almost impossible and even when one does melt it does so in such a way that its no threat to people.

Standerized tests are a nessestity. More important than your grades really. I work in the Admissions office at my college (St. Norbert in Green Bay, Wisconsin) We get 50,000 apps and can only accepts 650. Some high schools have AP classes, some have weighted GPAs, some have strict teachers, some have teachers that pass anyone who is nice. Then some kids take all science classes and get a 3.3 while other kids take all home ec and fasion classes and get a 3.8, who do we accept? Well lets look at the ACT, the science guy with the 3.3 got a 34 ACT (~1500 SAT) and the 3.9 guy got a 17 (< 800 SAT). Still think the 2nd one is smarter ? Thats a true scenario by the way. My point is yes some people get nervous at big tests but they are required. All I can say is, sadly, get over your fear. Talk to a counselor, practice taking the test, etc.

Ouch... :/ Oh well, I'm sure you can find something simular somewhere like in a Target or camping store. Gotta love that shipping though eh?

Everyone own a cheap flashlight but does anyone own a LED light? If you've never seen one you have no idea how bright these things are! There are countless companies that sell them (most famous is Surefire but the models run in the hundreds) Personally I'm a fan of the company Inova. There most famous product is the X5. Oh man I love X5s, I own 3 of them and then one of the smaller models, the X1. See the aforementioned site for an overview of differnt choices of X5, most notably you can choose of 5 different colors of LED. I have a white LED for use in my room, a red one for "dark ops" or if I get up at night, and a UV for pure entertainment. -Everyone alive needs to have a white X5, where to begin! X5s as a whole are incredibly compact waterproof, indestructible (you can run it over with a car and mine fell off a balcony onto tile... no damage what so over), then of course there is the the insane brightness. You can actually temporarly blind an attack with it and if used in a dark room its brighter then a park at noon ;) -The red one is pretty sweet, red doesn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t affect your night vision so if your eyes are adjusted to a dark room you can use it to find something easier and then turn it off and your night vision will be just as it was before. Its actually kind of eerie the first few times you do it. Also helps if you want to play a prank or something on your mate's house at night. You don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want a white light which attracts attention and kills your night vison making you dependant on it -UV is also pretty sweet but not as useful as the others. I use in it more enjoyment and during biology lab (helps illuminate features of organisms and actually kills the bacteria off your hands if you bathe them in the light) -Other colors are blue and green. Green is great to use at night but I prefer red. Blue is weird on how it enhances contrast--shine it at the back of your hand and see hundreds of wrinkles and all your tiny hairs; its cool but again, not as useful as the others. Does anyone else own one? I highly recommend everyone to eventually investing on one kind or another of LED light, if you want to go with Inova, X5s run for about $29 these days.

Years of video honed my quick reflexes. I'm unbeatable at bloody knuckles and if I ever drop a pencil/phone/soap in the shower I somehow instatly move and catch it within a slplit seccnd without even thinking about it. I'm also quite ampi-dexterous. Pity I wasn't born in the 1500s, I would probably be a sweet sword fighter with training.

explain how rune full ever costed 500k. Rune large might of been in the 200k's at early times, rune chain/body could later on get from oziach/champs guild. Legs 64k. R2H was 1.2 mil for a good 4 monthes or so the summer after it came out. Kite was 600-400k and battle axe was 600-650k for a long time to. Larges have actually almost alwyas been 100-150k. They were 200k the first weeks or so but rune battles/kites/2H stayed expensive for most of that first year of rune. Dunno what your trying to go with your point, but my thoughts of full rune is large, chain/plate, legs. Oh, well thats the confusion then, I for some reason think of full armour and weapons . Maybe flamesole does as well?

Yea, generally little kids (under 11) play video games non stop...and still suck at it. I mean honestly my 10 year old neighbor also plays Red Alert (a RTS) like 10 hours a day, everyday, not even kidding. I watch him and he sends in waves after waves of infantry at a line of pillboxes and as I watch them get mowed down he says "Each time I take off a little bit" I tell him an artilary, tank, or plane could take them out in one shot and save you several hundred troops to which he replies "" I havent lost a game yet, don't tell me what to do" As he contines to battle against 1 level one oppanant.
