  1. Okay, so the following is a story a wrote like YEARS ago. Im posting it here unedited. I still love this short story of mine to this day! I wanted to share it with you all! :D THE INTRUDER A story by Merry Anne Cartwright was leaning over at her desk working prudently on her homework. She was obliviously unaware of the mysterious hand that crept closer and closer to her hunched over shoulders. Each inch the hand crept bringing for Anne an outcome she could've never braced herself for. The hand just inches away from her, she finally sensed the unknown presence as the hairs on her neck stood on ends. She felt a tingling sensation run through her spine as she felt the warm breath of the intruder. Just then her mind raced with thoughts as she imagined in that brief second all the things this thing might have in mind to do to her. But nothing she imagined would compare to the facts. She turned around and met her assailants gaze. Screaming bloody murder Anne faced what could possibly be described as the most hideous creature on the face of the earth. Anne's heartbeat began to speed up and she began to feel light headed, her facial expression matching how she felt. The Creature reached for its hideous face, and that's when Anne realized it was a mask that he wore. The unknown surprisingly frightened her more than what she had just seen with her own two eyes. Her heart began to speed faster than before as the creature began to unmask itself. All in one moment she saw the image of the mask wearer and heard his voice gleefully and mockingly call out "HAHA, I SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!!!" And with that one sentence and the identity of the intruder known, Anne's once white as a sheet pale face turned a beat red and you could've sworn smoke came out of her ears as she screamed out at the top of her lungs "I'M TELLING!!!! MOOOOOM!!!! And with that her little brother raced off to his room cackling with delight at the success of what in Anne's opinion was a cruel prank.
  2. I had to read that for school a few years ago... Anwyas, I currently am reading the last installment in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. As to what all I've read that would be too many to list, I will just leave it to the ones I can remember from this past year... The Lord of the Rings Lord Foulgrins Letters The ishbane Conspiracy An old fashioned girl (again! lol) Chinese Cinderella Fallen Leaves The Diary of Anne Frank A walk to remember Mandie (college days) and alot more, I just can't remember all the names... Although I really haven't had alot of time for reading this past year...my reading has declined it seems...
  3. Well tbh, that would depend on what type of music you like... Some I would suguest that I listen to while I drive(or whenever)... Techo...ish? Crazy Frog-Axle F Sorry...Crazy frog makes me giggle...I had to add it...lol Rock Flyleaf-Breath Today (primarily its the first sentence I like while driving..."You can only move as fast as who's in front of you" Oldies? Beachboys-I get around,Little Deuce coupe,Fun Fun Fun,409 what can I say? the beachboys often sung about cars! lol
  4. In my own experience i've been blessed to meet extremely kind people in my gaming experiences. I've played World of Warcraft, Starwars galexies and of course runescape. I would have to say the people were the kindest to me when the games first started up and everyone was relatively a newb. So anyways,I simply pass on whats been given to me. :D I love helping people out! Actually half the time I do it b/c I'm bored. lol
  5. I have so many favorite books...it would probably take less time to tell you the authors lol... Louisa May Alcott Harriet Breecher Stowe J.R.R Tolkien C.S Lewis Anywho a few books I LOVE... The ishbane conspiracy The Lord of the Rings Uncle Toms Cabin An Old Fashioned Girl The Chronicles of Narnia I like a ton more but really I was just suppose to name one favorite, right? lol Thanks, I watched the movie and was wanting to read the book but wasn't quite sure who wrote it. I tend to like reading the books of movies b/c it gives so much more details. I like the details. lol Please don't place an age on it... I read probably over a hundred books by the time I was 14. If not more. Although they were less pages...I still was an advid reader. And tbh I prob. read more than I do now. :D
  6. well for my permit I was so focused on keeping my eyes open...I forgot to smile...oops! Although most people said my pic turned out pretty well. I past my test for the permit 1st try. We have a friend who like is a "big deal" type person with the dmv (bmv here) and said that our local bmv was being tougher on their tests so me and my mom went to a rinky dink small town one that had'nt changed over yet...just to be safe ya know? lol Then When I went for my lisence I really wasn't too confident in my driving ability and figured I'd fail. we even planned it so I had just enough time to try again before I had to re get my permit. So I went in EXTREMELY casual. Board shorts a t-shirt no makeup and hair tied up. Well so we went in and found out our cars brake lights weren't working, so we had to call my grandma and borrow her van. so besides the fact that I wasn;t very confident in my driving ability I also had to use a car I wasn't familiar with. so yeh. Oh and some of my friends who took the test previously didn't have to do parralel parking and told me it wasn't on the test...so guess what! its was! also they told me the route...guess what! I had to go a different way! lol. Anyways, to my suprise I passed! And so in my drivers lisence picture I'm like make-up less. lol. So my brother teases me about me being a horrible driver. But I just tell him atleast I only had to take my drivers test once (he failed his first time...) So I've been a lisenced driver for like 4 months now...Woot! :P So thats my experience. :D The only other experience I had at the bmv was to get the plates for my new(old) car...YAY! That was a good experience. no waiting line b/c we hit them at just the right time. :P
  7. Well, thank you! wasn't quite expecting that, although I wanted to clarify. lol. :D
  8. I would have to agree with that. Also one thing I find almost if not more annoying than a "noob" is a higher leveled player who are mean to newbs. btw. Thank you for explaining the difference between Noob and newb. I knew that at one time, but completely forgot. and really tbh...there are alot of sweet "newbs" out there, that I love to help out b/c their so thankful and they never even asked me to help them. lol
  9. ...I was just curious as to with whom you were agreeing with?
  10. I would like to say that I enjoyed your poem, although I'm sure it would give more meaning within its original context. I do not desire to critique your poem, as I am an aspiring poet who still is working out flaws in my own poetry, therefore I do not think it would be appropriate for me to point out your writing flaws. I would however suguest you having the part explaining what it is in the begining of the post, b/c I started off reading it thinking that was how YOU felt, not how a charactor in a story felt. Also I would like to say I appreciated the useage of words that better fit what you meant to explain. Even if it is less common to some. There are people out there like me who have read alot of books and therefore has a wider vocabulary. Its funny, my mom teases me and says I sound as if I'm a character from a book. It seems that I often use "uncommon" words to express what I mean without even thinking that I might be the only one in the room that knows what the word means. like the other day I said Droll instead of funny and everyone looked at me strange and I couldn't figure out why...lol But anyways, my main point was that I enjoyed the poem. It is also nice to see that you are taking constructive critisism very well. Although not entirely abandoning your original Ideas. :D
  11. Oops, sorry-I figured this was somewhat off topic, since its not nessarily just about runescape. it is a term used all over the internet. but what ever you deem nessesary I suppose. :P and Nick I agree with you, I forgot to add that. I meant what I consider a noob is what they act like. My point was just that I don't consider a noob by their level. Which it seems people often do.
  12. So, I was just wondering what you all consider a noob? As in what is your definition of one. Also, how often if ever do you use the term? In my personal opinion, I consider a noob not by what level they are(considering they could be alts),but rather how much they know about the game. I tend to not use the term/insult very much in game, except in jest with my friends. Also it seems to me, that people often use the term noob way out of context. Am I the only one that finds the missuse of the term annoying? One last thing, I know there are an assortment of ways to spell "noob", How do you often spell it? As you've probably noticed I spell it N-O-O-B, that is when I use it.
  13. I miss old times too. Although I didnt play as long ago as you did. It was still awsome. Did you ever become a citizen of a city? I think that was the best aspect of the game. There was a politicion(sp?) profession where if you got high enough exp you could be a mayor of your own city. I joined up with a city called Freedom Forge. Nice little city where we had meetings and you could just walk around town and hang out with people. The online community was just one of the aspects of the game. Along with combat, hunting, teaming, it was awsome  . I also had a house in this city. It was a little messy but it was cool :P Actually when I first started playing I lived in a player city. But after awhile I realized it was just easier to set up house near theed and go to the cantina there. Theed was my locale. lol. really most player cities didn't have very many people visiting the cantinas so I never got much business that way anyways. But yeh, like I said I had lived in a few cities. I loved being able to have a house and decorate it! That was one of my favorite things to do. I collected a ton of paintings and displayed them all over my house. I loved my House. it was the medium house. the large ones I never cared for...too big for my taste, and the littles ones I only used for storage. :P lol
  14. I played it a long time ago! Man I miss the old SWG days... when I first started playing the only means of travel was walking, then they had the update for the Mounts thank GOD! lol. I was a die hard entertaining fan! That was the only MMORPG I ever played that you could do something besides Combat! I LOVED IT! lol. My old SWG buddys tells me alot has changed since I last played (my brother switched from SWG to WOW, so I had to quit...: () I had Mastered Entertainer, Musician, Dancer, and Image Designer. And my best friends were tailors. lol. that was an entertainers joke but yeh...lol. I haven't played since they changed a bunch of crap. Sounds like it pretty much sucks now...lol
  15. Thanks, would've never figured that out on my own. :D

lol! Thats a pretty funny play with words there... I know a couple Wasians. (White people who wish they were asians, kinda like Wigger is a white guy who tries to be a black guy...) I don't care for it when people try to be something their not... But none of that has to do specificly with the Main Topic. I know this is the Off Topic forum but that doesn't imply that you must change the main topic of the sub topics in the off topic...if that made any sense? lol

I have a teensy weensy itty bitty bit of Chinese as well as Japanese in me. b/c I have so many other things in me. I'm like uber mixed. lol Thats what happens when your an american...lol Anyways I don't speak Chinese or Japanese. Although my mom remembers a little from when she went to this one Japanese School in Hawaii. She tought my brother how to count to ten...but I was off learning how to count to ten in Korean. lol. Which comes to the fact that I know a teany tiney bit of Korean since I take Taekwondo. (as well as hopkido and Judo. but I haven't really learned any Japanese in Class...)
  18. Thank you so much, I appreciated more what you said about me being different from other teens more than I did about my poetry. sure I appreciated the fact you liked my poetry as well. its just teens these days...I strive to not be like to say the least. lol
  19. Check out RadioU.com its the website of a radio station that plays christian music. And I don't mean the boring old people christian music. But like Rock,Rap,Techno. They primarily play Rock type stuff but they have a special hour during the week were they play techno, and Rap/Hip Hop. Oh and they also have a Heavy metal hour in the weekend for just heavy metal. but like they play that stuff othertimes too. Basically you can call in and request what you want to listen to. Its a really awsome radio station. You can listen to it online. They also have TVU which is Christian Music videos. You can also view that on their website. I suguest checking it out. You'll See ALOT of bands on the site. Also Some of my personal favorites (which are Rock)are... Flyleaf Demon Hunter East West Project 86 and so on... lol. btw there is Christian Artists and Artists who are Christians. They don't nessearily Label themselves as Christian artists but they are christians who write about what means alot to them which consequently means writing about God. They have it on their heart to share their message with others rather then just christians, which is what the labeled christian artists primarily do.

I personally have a hard time pin pointing a person to their country...your lucky if I guess what continent your from. lol. Seriously though I really don't even try, at risk of offending someone. I just consider them a human being and get their name if I can, so I have that to identify them by. I think it just depends on whether your around a certain ethnic group often or not, that makes it so you can easily identify someones race. Whats funny is I'm not very good at identifying between like Japanese, Chinese, and what not. The reason why its funny is because I have Japanese and Chinese in me. hecks I got ALOT of things in me...Chinese,Japanese,Hawaiian,Polonesian,Dutch,German,Irish,French,English,Miami Indian, and a few others I forget...lol. And thats where its hard, when you get people who are mixed, how to determine what they are. lol, "I label by the Continent not the country." if you label a relatively large group like a continent your less likely to get it wrong. Would it offend you more if someone called you asian, or if they called you the wrong smaller group? lol Although I'd like to finish up with, I don't nessesarily condone label making I was just simply making a few points. :D
  21. Thats Sad, and a bit confusing in parts. When I write I tend to unconstiously (or purposfully) including feelings or events similar to what occurs to me. I can't help but wonder, is any of what you wrote similar to your own circumstances or feelings?
  22. Thats pretty good, especially for a beginner. I enjoyed your imagery. Although some of the sentences could probably be formed a bit better. But all in all, very good read! I'm not very good myself with writing stuff, but I am an advid reader and so I know what flows well. Kind of. lol. Most of my stories I haven't finished. It seems I can never do more than short stories and my attempts at longer ones end of never getting finished or shortened b/c I'm bored of it. lol
  23. Thank you guys so much for your comments! Here is yet another poem. the newest installment to my collection. lol ENJOY! Reflection As I gaze into the mirror with open mind in thought I see the image that is there the reflection that I see is but an outer shell of me but the question is not what I see but what God see's inside of me what lies beyond those hazel eyes only me and God can see the secrets that I hold the secrets that are me only with projection of the secrets that I hold (though frightened of rejection, I must be Bold) I can be and do all that God wants me to So with projection, my reflection is not just my outer shell but is a reflection of my faith in christ and of my heart as well.
  24. I Love music, but I don't have ample money to spend on concert goings...lol Lemme see in the past year... Flyleaf (one of my FAVORITE bands) Staind Hurt 3 days grace Licerin Blue (or whatever their called, lol) Angela Aki and I'm going to a diciple concert end of the month. meh? I think thats it... oh right I almost forgot...if local bands count... Local bands Dead by seven Returning the knife and this other band I forget the name of...lol I know I'm forgetting some, but oh well...lol the main one was flyleaf. lol
