I feel like this is very biased article also. The author asks “what is this doing for me?” Cant that be said with any video game? why just runescape... It does somthing for me, it gives me somthing to do when i cant find anything to do. it also releases dopamine when i go pk or get a sweet drop. I live a social life on runescape and work on my social skills. Not to mention the buisness and marketing skills you learn in rs that you can actually bring into the "real world" I think your assuming everyone that plays rs is addicted and its killing their social life therefore turning them into some kind of couch potato, but thats not the case, its been proven and im a standing example. L this topic is silly he only has 3 posts, dont stir the pot sir.

i dont understand how 99 in any skill is a waste of time (like your 1st post states) i dont like the fire cape or the SW cape. i dont play runescape to be 100% pro-efficient. i like rs and i like to wear whatever i feel like wearing, cosmetics is a part of rs FACE IT. at the end of the day this is 100% personal preference when dealing with such a minimal statistic difference. id support anyone anywhere to wear what they want regardless of what anyone else has to say.

my own POH. imagine your own field with a house and the ability to only let friends enter it. its better then your own personal island because no 1 can even see you or intrude!!!! teleport would be #2.

hi im wilche im looking for a team/clan/group that mostly goes to the god wars dungeon (CS+LS) i like to do all of the boss's except saradomin. i also like to kill the corp. beast in groups. im looking to PK in p2p mostly but im open for f2p, im not really into war's. i cant be expected to follow some code of activity, i have a busy real life. i play runescape when i can, the times i usually have open are 4-12pm eastern time so im looking for somthing with a typical U.S. schedual. i dont care about a pre-made post with pictures of past events and what not, im more interested in current memberlist and an easy in for some good clean group combat. im a decently smart kid, i can hold an mature conversation and make friends, im easy going and i like to be organized. my combat is 134 nd my stats are in my sig. im willing to be active on forums but nothing more outside of runescape. picky i know.

i have 99 range and claws too. i get alot of my money from pvp. i wear a neit helm, black dragon hide body, rune plate legs, barrows gloves, 99 cape, glory, diamond bolts and a rune cbow. bring your claws too, range them from the start and when they get low switch to your claws special (that is if they arnt praying melee) i get alot of kills like that or if i take melee only and risk a whip. people dont expect the claws when you hybrid with them. call if what you want, but it gets me kills and i dont have to risk much.

i have 69 limp roots im willing to get rid of. rsn - dead kid

all i know is, i just sold all my rune boots for like 112k each. :thumbsup:

fish rocktails.

i probably wont play, but i havent been able to play in a very long time. but i seize the opportunity today and logged on. to my surprise. i was kinda stoked i still have all my lvls from playing the original rs, to bad my banks plum empty.

i make alot more money and almost more exp fishing rocktails at 97 fishing, then i did with fishing sharks.

i feel this can be said for alot of things in rs, but i payed attention to your 1st sentence. look at the hits pvp has taken over the years, its swirling around the drain in my opinion. as for videos and famous pkers. we have too many maxed out players these days to find a really special pker, and even if some 1 was good enough to be "famous" look at all of the BS they have to put up with in pvp....its just plain scandalous what people will do to try to kill you.

i did this once, i used furys and ranger boots. worked out well. u could always try gems.

macaws help your overall herb drops though. i get way better herb drops when i use a macaw then if i dont use one.

ive gained 70k herb exp, 50k smithing exp and 300k magic exp in the 1st hour. i havent played since then so im still at 2.3x. il probably keep bursting nechs.

i hate when jagex gives us an update that provides more questions then answers. who could have defeated him? why was he fighting over runes when he loved non-combat skills? (magic is combat based to me) who else is even from the 2nd age? (looks like ive become exactly what i hated)

people cant control themselves. (period) if i was addicted , id rather be addicted to playing runescape rather then smoking crack.

dont sell. just wait ...... its not hard to watch the g/e prices rise and fall for a week at a time. patience can and will lead you to riches if you just let it.

keep them til a week or 2 after the double exp weekend update. your just feeling the hurt from the x2 exp merchers. i dumped 1200 ranarr seeds like 4 days ago and now they are dropping :thumbsup:

well since no1 has said it yet. the above post. its probably the most inspiring post ive seen in along long time. nicely done and im glad to see we still have some sense of feeling intertwined into rs and the forums.

jagex hasnt been updating like themselves as of late.

i believe the 2 week notice was to give f2p players plunty of time to pay for membership.

could this drive the price of dragon bones down at all? i was about to put 30m towards them, but then i saw this dev. diary. im probably wrong here, but the way i see it is this > gilded alters wont give you any bonus exp, while burying a dragon bone even with exp weekends full benefit your still going to get less then if u use a gilded alter. but what i cant figure out is what will happen to the dragon bone economy.
