  1. I'm anti-gun. Boo.
  2. I'm very good at English. In 10th grade I got a letter from the state asking if they could use my writing sample for those books they publish on the state tests. I was the only kid in my high school to get a 5 on the AP Lang. & Comp. test my junior year. I won my first poetry competition in 2nd grade, and in 3rd grade I was a finalist in the Reading Rainbow short story competition. I've gone to several spelling bees, also. I was pretty good at Basketball until I fractured my spine playing it my freshman year. I'm pretty much pro at Mario Kart 64. And I'm good with cats, even though I'm allergic to them. I'm a good listener, and very observant. I was on my school's forensics team and did pretty well at impromptu speaking and debate.
  3. That's the one! I'm taking that one now, that's the one I was talking about. :D Here are my political compass results:
  4. 13. I've taken a better quiz before, that had these neat chart graph thingys and I was only BARELY on the liberal side. Oh well.
  5. [/hide] That's cheating! That's more of a "post pic of your desktop" than a RL pic, because that's all we can see! OldJoe - Silver/black, definitely. 2 girls now have said silver/black. Evil mumm ra has said brown/black. So you can look good to the ladies, or to Evil. Your choice. 'Nuff said. ;)
  6. I know plenty of stupid people on both sides. I think the athiests just come across as more stupid to me because 1. I AM religious, and 2. They're the ones who to me seem so intent on dragging on the beliefs of others.
  7. I had my cats for over two years before I started having allergic symptoms, but I am in fact allergic to them. I had to kick them out of my room and I couldn't cuddle and kiss them, which was sad. But now that school's out it doesn't matter if I'm sneezy, so they're back in my room and sleeping in my bed again. I react really badly to mosquito bites. I'd rather be stung by a bee or yellow jacket than bitten by a mosquito. The pain may be more intense, but it's only for a short time; with me the moquito bites swell up and I'm miserable for about 4 days before they start to go away. I'm also allergic to Herbal Essences "Long Term Relationship" Shampoo (it's supposed to help strengthen your hair if you're trying to grow it really long). Ended up with this lovely red rash on my face for about a week and a half after that one. -.- I'm also allergic to the fizzy soap in the Krispy Kreme bathrooms. Weird, huh?
  8. Science is the pursuit of knowledge and religion rejects science. Not all religions do. There are lots of Mormon scientists, for example. There is the belief in intelligent design, and the belief that God is essentially the ultimate scientist. Be careful not to over-generalize, especially when discussing a religion. There're quite a few distinctions between most religions. There are intelligent people who believe in God, and intelligent people who don't. Faith and intelligence are not the same thing.
  9. This is the 4th thread with "Zombies" in the title on the first page of Off Topic. I'd have TrixStar with me to feed to the zombies (weapon and companion) while I made a break for it with Beethoven's 5th playing.
  10. Mel always told me I have a nice smile; and I still generally disagree  Well nobody else knows, because you're one of those "too cool to smile" guys. :P
  11. You only say that because you want someone to say "You do not!" :P And you don't. Everyone looks better smiling. Even if they look doofy (I had this conversation with someone less than an hour ago) to themselves, they look better to the rest of the world. People are drawn to happy people. So don't be afraid or too shy to smile! :D You look a bit like that Edmund kid from the new Narnia movies, and he has a HUGE following of fans who think he's absolutely adorable. ;)
  12. Making you obsess about it might be fun. But okay.
  13. That book was popular in 3rd grade. xD Among the 3rd graders. *Tease* I'd rather just have the white angel wings than turn into a bird entirely.
  14. The guy in X-Men 3 who flies out of the mutant treatment center looks SO HOT. The whole white angel wing thing is the way to go with wings, in my opinion. If I could fly, I wouldn't be picky about whether it was with wings or not. Flying period would be way cool.
  15. The Ender series by Orson Scott Card, most of Robin McKinley's Books, and then there's the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix, and then Harry Potter is pretty good. And the Laura Ingalls Wilder books (Little House on the Prairie books -- my favorite being These Happy Golden Years).
  16. But "Link" is the default name. So isn't that his name?
  17. Gah! I ate a chocolate covered coffee bean once (I thought it was a peanut or raisin) and it was nasssty. That's the only time I've ever had coffee in any way, shape, or form. Bleeeghhh.
  18. I have NEVER been short. :P I've been about 5'10" for the last 4 years or so, at least.
  19. At the park (June 23, 2008): Also at the park (June 23, 2008): Graduation (June 4, 2008): Prom (May 10, 2008):
  20. Whoops. Not sure what happened here. Sorry.
  21. Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese!! The best cheese on Earth, seriously. I also read a LOT. I'm addicted to reading, you know? Like I'm up till 3 or 4 most nights reading. Mom says go to bed, so I turn off the light then turn it back on with a towel under the door to block the light and I keep on reading. About 4-6 books a week. >.< Used to play RS way too much. Probably was addicted, but then I voluntarily took a 5 month break to finish out high school. And now... just the cheese and books.
  22. [hide=Grilled Ham & Cheese][/hide] and then just water to drink. (or milk, like with those sandwiches! Yum!) ^_^
  23. From Ice Warrior. No coords or anything difficult. \ Sold for ~700k.
  24. Clue from Kurasks. I have two really good level 1 clue rewards on the other comp, I'll post those later.
  25. Topazjewel replied to MPM's topic in Off-Topic
My sister Sarah knows my email password and my RS password. Why? So if I die, she can let people know what happened, and that I won't be around anymore.
