  1. It's a good idea, and it IS already in the game. Player Moderators have that option when they left-click on someone's text in the chat box. Why doesn't everyone have this option? Already Jagex has to sort through a bunch of reports that really didn't need to be sent, this would probably majorly increase the "bad-report" traffic from non-pmods.
  2. Here's an analogy: 1. You go to play at a playground for free. You ride the swings and the slide, and sit at a park pench eating your PB and J sandwich. 2. You go to Disneyland and pay some money. You get to go on rides that are way more exciting, see people the sights, and eat a super-duper chili corndog. You get what you pay for. You're actually lucky that RS lets f2p people play as long as they like; many other RPGs have a trial basis where they get to play for 1 month then their char is "locked" until they pay for a membership.
  3. Just a note (learned this from Oergg): You can BUY the stews to add spices to in the bar in Seers Village. They're about 20 gp each I think, and you have to talk to the bartender to purchase them one by one. (Tedious, but faster than making.)
  4. It actually IS possible:http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=423860 Wow, cool, I haven't done the new quest so I had no way of knowing. Thanks! Now it is possible! Yeah, I got the one yesterday while killing crabs. I wonder what Evil Bob would do underwater, since we're not allowed to bring our cats down because they'd drown.. Hmm. Cute potential for that idea.
  5. Yes.. they are possible. Anyone else get any RE's while underwater?
  6. This is nothing new.. I got that same clue MONTHS ago and the Zamorak Wizard was there. It's not a hidden update or anything like that; It's a Zammy wizard, always has been.
  7. Congratulations! You have freed Evil Dave! You are awarded: 1 QP, 7000 Cooking XP, Ability to make spicy stew, own a hell-cat, and more access to the Culinaromancer's Chest!
  8. Piercings.. gahhh. -.- I don't even have my ear pierced. If you were me, you'd wrap your ear in scotch tape and hope it healed up. But you're not me, so DON'T try that. Call the people who pierced it and ask them what to do. Or your doctor. Or your mom.
  9. Here's the "loot" from the nests of my 28 mole HIDES: (rather than list them by number, I'll use 1x, 2x, etc depending how many different nests give the same thing.) x3 - empty nests :( x4 - sapphire ring x3 - 2 watermelon seeds x4 - 3 strawberry seeds x3 - 9 cabbage seeds x3 - 6 tomato seeds x3 - 14 potato seeds x1 - acorn (oak seed) x2 - 3 sweetcorn seeds x1 - 2 limpwurt seeds x1 - 11 onion seeds x1 - ruby ring I guess its hard to conclude if there is much difference, but the claws traded for nests seemed to yield more tree seeds of a higher level. Comments? Any other ideas?
  10. Traded in 16 mole claws for 16 nests, those nests gave: 1. 3 sweetcorn seeds 2. Sapphire ring 3. 1 Maple tree seed 4. 2 limpwurt seeds 5. 9 cabbage seeds 6. 2 watermelon seeds 7. 1 Maple tree seed 8. 2 limpwurt seeds 9. 14 potato seeds 10. 2 watermelon seeds 11. Gold ring 12. Sapphire ring 13. Sapphire ring 14. 9 cabbage seeds 15. 3 sweetcorn seeds 16. 1 Maple tree seed That's 3 maple seeds out of 16 nests from mole claws.. not bad. Going to trade in mole HIDES now.
  11. Are you sure it doesn't give credit? I know it doesn't give exp, but I'm pretty sure it gives me credit, otherwise I doubt I'd be getting this many kills.. I have 15 claws and 26 hides right now, when I cash them in I'll find out if claws give significantly different nest rewards than hides, as I have a suspicion they do..
  12. Another revision you NEED to include: Bring along a DDS! One of those babies will keep killing the mole, no matter where it goes! By poisening it, you're hitting 6's and 5's even if you're nowhere near it. So. 1. Set up cannon 2. Hit with DDS till it starts moving 3. Switch weapon to whip and pursue. 4. Listen for sound effect when it dies, it makes this.. dying sound no matter where you are so you'll know you got the loot and to go find it quick!!
  13. I would log out, get on MSN and beg one of my friends to find an empty server on RS where I can log back on and they can stand there and save my stuff if I die. :P At that point, whichever I can get to fastest in my bank is good.
  14. Another method that seems pretty effective is to bring down your cannon and set it up where the mole first appears, since it comes back to the center area once in a while. That way you can run around trying to find it, but if it appears back there your cannon can still get it. :P
  15. I put this on the other mole thread, thought I may as well repost here: It burrows every few seconds and comes up someplace else in the tunnel. The baby moles are adorable!! Bring light armour (with all those people down there, you're not going to get hit for much) Bring energy restores also, you will NEED them! If you actually manage to kill this guy, good luck finding the drop since it moves so far so fast.. Do not mage him. Mage is almost useless. (Almost, because I hit a 2 once.) However, when maging him I noticed he didn't burrow away, it wasn't until someone ranged or melee attacked him that he moved. (He was in one spot for about 15 seconds as I maged him, longest I've even seen him stand still.) I suggest ranging him. His attack style is melee (has hit up to 21s on me, so if you feel like it, protect from melee as prayer.) I've gotten as drops: -1 mith plate, 1 mole skin, 1 mole claws, big bones -100 yew logs (noted), 2 mole skins, 1 mole claws, big bones Ranged is definitely the way to go. I traded my total of 3 skins and 2 claws to Wyson for 1 birds nest each.. I received 5 nests containing the following seeds: - 2 limpwurt seeds - 3 sweetcorn seeds - 3 sweetcorn seeds - 3 strawberry seeds - 14 potato seeds Cheers. I wish the baby moles could become new pets so one would follow me.. *sighs* they're cuties. Too bad that I also make them orphans.

  18. Ooo, slave auctions are fun. This year though, I might actually make my slave do something useful, rather than have him cross-dress and flirt with unsuspecting members of the same gender, eh Smavey? I wouldn't mind being a slave, except that I'm pretty much useless, unless you need someone with Eyebrow-Raising lvl 99.
  19. Be there or be ... sq-- I mean, somewhere else. 9 a.m.. yeesh. I'll try to make it, someone has to show all you noobles how it's played.
  20. I didn't have a problem with that guy... it was a mummy that got me. :(
  21. 1. Make sure you *are* p2p. (sounds silly, but you never know.) 2. Make sure you don't already have an unfinished clue in your bank. 3. Try killing something else for your clues. 4. Abandon all hope.
  22. I would say... freaky forester or drill demon.
  23. It sounds like an innocent enough idea, but imagine world 2 falador, or any other area for that matter. This could be used as a tool to spam meaningless messages, around-the-filter profanity, or even shopping advertisements. Chat would be a NIGHTMARE.
  24. Admiral pie raised my fishing by 5.. for anyone who cares to know. -.-;
