  1. I didn't spontaneously combust, I'm still around. Just not as much as I used to be. I got a job this summer with the YCC (Youth Conservation Corps, basically the Forest Service for teenages) and spent most of my days dragging rocks and tree limbs around, pulling weeds, fixing trails, picking up trash. It didn't leave a lot of room for fun and Runescape. Thanks for your sentimental shpeel.. which I can't spell. :) Hope to still see you around once in a while, if I ever really get back into RS. It wasn't solely your fault that Punky got 99 cooking, I was the one who wanted them to have to make the bread the good old fashioned cook's assistant way. :P You were just more generous than I in pulling your cracker to make amends. I figure if I ever pulled my Christmas Cracker, it'd be with you. Notice I said *if*. Take care of Ava. ^^ Give her a big smooch on her head (and I still say, a dad is allowed to braid his daughter's hair!!!) and a hug, and the same for Theresa. Overall, take care of yourself and stay out of trouble, or I'll send Darren after you. Or Oergg. Imagine him showing up on your doorstep to give you a piece of MY mind. I always looked at Oergg as my sometimes grumpy college-aged brother I never had. But I guess I felt the same about you most of the time. Good luck in your life's pursuits. I think this smiley, the "shh" :-$ looks like it's picking its nose. And I'm sure you'd have to agree.
  2. I was planning to go; I got myself set up in Fally park decked out in my Snow White costume. Then dad said, "Rachel, want to help me help some lady move her stuff from a U-haul to a storage unit?" Me: "Err.. I was going to take a nap, and I need to be home at 3." Dad: "What do you have to do at 3?" Me: "A Runescape thing.. which sounds really stupid now that I say it." Dad: "If you don't come with me, no computer for the rest of the day." Me: "Great. Let's help some lady move her stuff." It was actually fun. Took about 2 hours and I was the girl there (the old lady and the bishop's 8 year old daughter don't count.) 4 of the young men I know showed up, plus the bishop and Brad's dad, so it only took us 2 hours and a lot of work. Then we went to Dairy Queen. And the employee seems to be struggling with the concept of a CHEESEburger. Then we all played tag on the playplace, which was funny since we were all too big to really fit down the slides and stuff. We would've stayed to see how long it took us to get thrown out, but then some actual kids wanted to use the playplace. :( Sorry I missed the party, but frankly, I think I spent my time better today than I would've on the computer.
  3. Watched General Conference at the Bishop's house. That's what I did Saturday, I knew it was April Fool's Day but I think its a dumb holiday so I don't do anything about it.
  4. We're forecasting for next year this week and next, and I'm definitely loading up on the AP classes. Have been taking mostly honors the last 2 years. I took the PSAT, I did REALLY well, I got a 67 in math, 71 in reading, and 70 in writing. And that was just the PSAT, and at the beginning of sophomore year. I'm gonna kick some serious bum when I send in my college apps. I don't know too much about what colleges to go to, but I would really like to travel next summer if not this one. I'm excited to be almost halfway through highschool; I hate it and am looking forward to the levels and types of study in college. How many people here are staying in dorms, and if so, with roommates? I think that'd be so weird having to share a 10' x 10' or less space with a complete stranger, so I think I'll be paying the extra money to have my own space in a dorm. I'm lucky though that I already have quite a nice college fund waiting for me, which should get me through the first year of a nice college or all 4 of a not-as-nice one.
  5. My french teacher Bellavia told us about that today.. still have about 2 hours and 20 some minutes here until it happens. At which time I plan to be asleep. :P
  6. I'm only going to be a junior in high school next year (11th grade) so college applications are a fair ways off for me. But my older sister Liz (18 and a senior this year) just got accepted to BYU Idaho in Rexburg. IDAHO?!?!?!?! I'd go to Hawaii or Provo, but I don't think I'm going to a LDS/Mormon college. Might go into law or become a teacher.
  7. Broken arrows, rusty swords, and damaged armour is what you can get from the fishing trawler, or often just searching random crates in the game. Maybe we'll be able to actually fix them ourselves?
  8. Wasn't there a thread about boxing gloves or something to that effect? :S
  9. Having it on any day but Saturday at those times is impossible for me, but I'm not going to ask that it be changed for my sake. I'm going to be sad to see you go, but so long as you hang around Tip.It forums and we still see you on occasion, that's okay I guess. :D
  10. Talked to you a bit yesterday. :D Glad to have ya back.
  11. I think now would be a good time to get off the subject of Hitler and Nazism and go back to the topic. I hate when you type something and it gets censored, especially if you're a pmod, and noobs go "OMG A PMOD CUSSED!! REPORTED!!!"
  12. The stupidest filter ever put into place was the one that found the nearest appropriate match for whatever you were trying to say. "Topazjewel" because "tomatoes". You could type "a as gipnaspg ;me oianwgpinaegh haha" and you'd end up with "tree bucket in the the bank coins footwear." Also, the term "cabbage" (people still will often say, 'oh, cabbage!') was formed because the word "crap" along with some other less than fully appropriate expressions would become "cabbage" under the filter. Once the filter was removed, people would still say "cabbage!" to get their point across. Good times.
  13. You seem to have forgotten gandalf's BEARD. ;)
  14. I took the little girl on the level 3 course, got a river crossing (swinging on tree) and ghasts. Got 62 harralander (unidentified) and 28 toadflax (also unidentified.) It looks as though the more events you run into and complete along the way, they better the reward? Lol @ Gugge, getting only one and it being a helpful man. :P
  15. Are you talking about Galadriel? :) Yes, her. I'd be good for the part because I can type very quickly and accurately (to get those lines out, since people watching won't want to be like.. .... .... .... waiting.) I type at about 110 wpm on average, and VERY accurately. And I'm a girl. And I LOVE the LOTR movies. I have all 3, in special addition fully extended with extra features dvd sets. ;)
  16. Since many players don't really care (sad but true) about having more mahogany and teak trees in the game, I doubt Jagex is using it as their big April Fool's Day joke. Either they'll be added later on, or they were quietly added with no announcement and we just have yet to go check it out.
  17. If you can remember the route and NPC you took, and what color token they gave you, what rewards did you get? I took the little girl through the easiest path. Got a blue token. Reward: red fish book. I took the little girl through the medium level path (met giant snakes, and almost died [and I'm combat 102]). Got a yellow token. Reward: 60 silver bars, noted. Took a man npc (can't remember which one now) on easy path, got blue token which gave me 9 wildblood hop seeds. I plan to do more treks when I get back, in the meantime, post what rewards you got here.
  18. I dibs being either Arwen or Eowen, or that one creepy majestic elf lady. Which I can't spell. I'll work on it. ;)
  19. I would like to come. Isn't that reason enough?
  20. I say no to the level four clue scroll. Just sounds like ways for the high leveled players to become even richer.
  21. It's there for people who lose their marionettes to be able to get a new one. (They have to have actually done the miniquest during the holidays to be able to get one out of the crate, though.)
  22. There've already been a couple of threads about this, one of them being mine: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=423860&highlight= Use the search button. :P
  23. Jagex has made it pretty clear they have no intention of implementing actual horses at any time in the near or distant future of RS. :P Recipe for Disaster dialogue with dragon: "You get a wish!" "I want a horse on Runescape!" "Silly, there are no horses on Runescape!"
  24. The list of supporters is nearly 300 people strong -- but might I point out that over half of the names on that list have under 10 posts on these forums and might not acurately represent the amount of support this idea really has? Maybe it would be better to take down RS names, or better yet, RS Member's names who support your idea, since they're the "paying customers"? (And I'm still opposed to the whole bank change idea, but I thought I'd point out the flaws in your support petition. Constructive criticism that won't make Jagex laugh as hard.)
