I've always been playing on high detail but recently it's been annoying me because when trying to cast Wind Bolt on a monster to get it before someone else, I end up miss-clicking and not attacking the monster because it slightly skips a frame or something. My computer has no problem running much more advanced games than Runescape, perfectly, so I don't get it. I even bought a graphics card before. Although it was a cheap one, it's better than nothing. If I play in standard detail, it runs 100% smoothly. If in high detail (settings do nothing, it's the same no matter what) my game slightly skips a few frames. This happens anytime I move the camera angle or move my character. Again, I always play in high detail (mainly cause I hate tiny standard) but it's been bugging me recently. Is it still my graphics card or what? I personally think it's the huge amount of pixels added to the ground texture when switching from standard to high detail, but what do I know... Personally... I'm never trying until I get a Divine Spirit Shield. Something about the threat of dying before you even see Jad makes me not want to even try... :?

No one with half a brain is being hurt by it? Going back to that Smokin Mils guy... no one was able to buy Prayer Potions because of him. Yeah most people solo merchant, including me, but I don't create a massive clan to buy out a resource so everyone is forced to have a horrible time while you get rich off of it. All items have bad domino effects to things in Runescape but Prayer Potions have a huge domino effect. So while he gets rich, everyone else suffers because of him. As far as I know, King Duffy doesn't run a massive clan to manipulate Runescape. If he does, then he's just as big a loser as the Smokin Mils guy.

People like the leader of Smokin Mils SHOULD be banned. I don't care wtf anyone says, that's just bullcrap. It didn't affect me whatsoever, but just because it's possible for someone to do what he did, doesn't mean it should be allowed. To hoard like 100,000 Prayer Potions? Give me a break. If I was in Jagex, I'd be like, "Wtf?" And just ban him and not think anything of it other than the fact that he deserved it." People like that piss me off so much. My personal little theory is also proven correct with this situation as well... that anyone with that much money gained it unfairly or at the expense of others. Every extremely rich person I've ever met has been a douchebag also.

If Defense was fine then pures wouldn't exist. The problem isn't there because Jagex can't make it there. Well, they can... but when they do, these threads are what will happen anyway. I'm sure rather than adjust Defence, Jagex will find a way to make this game a million times stupider and ruin it by trying to be "unique" :roll: :roll: :roll: and add something like human shields that take damage for you... :roll:

Seeing stuff like that video, makes me wish I never started RuneScape. Only reason I don't leave this bad game is because I've already spent 5 years on it and I'm not spending another 5 on WoW. The Jagex team seems to just go, "Here, have some updates. They might suck, we aren't really sure, we didn't test them. Enjoy!" Now I know it's not like that... but look how epic that WoW video is. :x Does Jagex ever do stuff like that for RuneScape? Nope. :roll: Even for the Godwars Dungeon, all they did was release it. No epic video or anything. All they give us is Development Diaries... But then again, even if Jagex WANTED to make an epic video for an upcomming update, they can't. As they never MAKE any epic updates! :wall:

I've wondered this ever since it existed. If a Familiars special attack is Magic based, does it have a better chance of working if you have Magic items on such as Ahrims? Same goes for a Spirit Dagganoth, it's special attack is Ranged based, so should I use Ranged armor? Problem is that I notice almost NONE of the special attacks are melee based, so... Clarification please?

Yeah he's right. A lot of us have no lifed and may still be doing it, but you can only keep it up for so long. Take a look at Zezima. A lot of people I know barely play anymore, including myself.

Omfg finally finished. My goal was to get 10 but I have 2 Abyssal Heads so I only needed 8. I gained 431k Strength exp getting 7 of these... that's over 5000 kills... :wall: :wall:

OMG!!! That sound of skilling video! :shock: :shock: :shock: I do feel he shoulda threw in a cooking and firemaking sound though, around the end when it only plays the fletching sound. But it's still amazing. He needs to make a sound of combat video. ;) I hope they actually add that song into the in-game music list, now that'd be cool... Personally, that'd be a much better reward than going to Jagex.

Well I've browsed the RSOF a lot for Construction stuff and a few Admins have said they like the idea and would forward it. There's a few threads suggesting a Bar Room and they all have a few Admin posts and a few hundred supporters. Similar to the Pet Room that was released. ;) I assume if/when the Bar Room comes it'll have 3 doors at the most... I can't see it ever having 4.

lol that's true, but hopefully people won't waste their money needlessly if the limit does increase. I dunno though... I'm betting by next Tuesday.

I thought this should deserve it's own topic. This way people can plan their houses assuming the house limit will increase. I'll go ahead and personally assume it'll only increase by 1, but that's still much better than none. :thumbup: I've already spent about 2M re-arranging my house as best as I could and all I need is 1 more room to get exactly what I want. I mean really... if you're gonna add a new room, the room limit should increase, it just makes sense. :| I actually designed it assuming the Bar Room will get released one day, which it probably will. ;) Next Tuesday please? If they increase it by more than 1... :shock: :shock:

... You know, on second thought, perhaps today there shouldn't have been an update. Like clockwork, here comes sarcastic, spoiled players expecting everything to be bug free 100% of the time. Even though this update is good, keeping trolls silent is so much better... How am I a troll? I use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation. I try to be light about it. I try to put in a little bit of humor. Yet I'm still a troll? Is that because I have the gall to actually criticize Jagex? Should I just kneel down and tell them how great they are all the time like you? Sarcastic? Yes. Spoiled? If playing this game for years and being used to Jagex actually making good updates that aren't ruined by a string of bugs, then yeah, I'm spoiled too. Is the update good? Yes. Is the quality of the update tarnished by the plethora of bugs that are ruining it? You damn skippy hippie. Maybe it's my fault. Maybe after playing the game for years, I shouldn't bother holding Jagex to any sort of standard. It's my problem for enjoying the game in the past and hoping to enjoy it in the future. You could have just said you didn't like the update instead oh "Durp durp doodle har har" -.-; I loled at what libs said. :D For clarification... anytime you would enter your own POH prior to this update, the loading time would be very slow - unless people were in your POH. Runescapes logic system would somehow make it so people being in your POH makes it load faster... :roll: Anyway, now entering your POH loads fast even when no ones in it.

I'm interested about that as well. And can I fill mine with all dragons? Not that it's limited to just one of each colour? I'd assume no. It's still possible for me to add the new room if I delete the Games Room, but my house sort of depends on the door hotspots. I wish it was either 1 or 2 doors, not 4... -.-
