Agreed. Even in soccer games, where the score differences generally never get that big (except in indoor), there is expected some level of curtosy when the game is ridiculously one sided. This generally manifests as an unspoken, and hidden (so as not to be insulting), rule among the winning team, such as a "only one-touch" rule, or maybe something like "only shoot from outside the box". If it takes breaking these rules every once in a while to make sure the other team doesn't know they're in place, then it's okay, but generally the unspoken rules created by the coach are to be followed at all times. These unspoken rules create both the kind of challenge that is necessary for a real match and a sense of sportsmanship towards the other team. It's like when the NBA player has some fun with the middle school kids- is he really going to be a jerk and go all out, or is he going to restrict himself (without saying so) to make it more fun for both teams? So, ya, I don't think any of you play sports. This IS shameful, just not enough to fire a coach under normal circumstances. I used to be amazing at soccer until high school came. :? I was always center mid and was never off at all during the game, I was actually that good lol. [bleep] you highschool. But anyhow, my team in general sucked. I was never able to get a goal because I'd get nervous and mess up badly but there was one more guy on my team who would get the goals every time for us and he was good at that, me and him would usually run up together and I'd try to get the ball to him. I had this thing where even though the poosing player would kick the ball flying past me to their teammate way at the other end of the field, I'd sprint and get to the ball at the same time they did. :lol: They;d be like "wtf?" :lol: Damn I wish I was still good at soccer. :evil: I was even bettre than my coach lol. But I do remember losing a hell of a lot because our team was stacked basically as bad as it could possibly get. This was in a small town but the person in charge of the whole thing has a team of her own. :roll: Guess what, it was so stacked that they never ever lost a game ever. :roll: And yeah I gotta tell you it's really humiliating losing all of the time because of bull [cabbage]. Off topic: I hadn't played soccer for 3 years in the time of grade 8-highschool years and then finally for gym class we did soccer and I couldn't get it from anyone! :( I'm so bad at the sport now it makes me sad. :cry: :lol:

Look, you can stop talking about what 'crazy' money demons are (actually, they're weak compared to green dragons). It does not matter what you get on a task. What does matter is the AVERAGE - and your arguing from a slayer level of 72, with melee stats in the low 80s. Obviously your not getting precisely what I am at armored zombies, nor are you doing anything resembling testing! You can't go there for 2 hours and then trumpet your XP rates as final, it requires literally dozens of hours to even attempt to get an accurate number. It's the averages that count - and mine are carefully calculated using literally hundreds of hours of testing by me, ydraisel, Zarfot, and Qeltar. Your one person with mid 80s stats and 72 slayer trying to argue about tasks that you won't even be getting in the next dozen levels! I respect your opinion, but there is a difference between opinions and facts. I'm not trying to argue about how fun slayer is. It's one of my favorite skills, and it's made me millions. What I AM arguing is that it is crappy XP. This is not an opinionated debate. It does not matter how fun you find it or how much you hate grinding blah blah blah. What matters is the cold hard XP rates - and unless you can show me some REAL testing to prove mine wrong, I'll take the numbers of myself and 3 other maxed, experienced players over a level 110 who's tried it for 2 hours. Actually Abyssal Demons are better money than Green Dragons. Green Dragons are about 400k per hour and you therefore need to kill them for 3 or 4 hours to make up what 1 Whip gets you. However, in 3 or 4 hours time at Abyssals you will ALWAYS get Rune items and very possibly a Whip in that amount of time. My best in 3 hours is a Whip and about 400k in Rune items which is about 1.8M, that's almost 5 hours of Green Dragons. Only once did I get 2 Whips in that amount of time.

I didn't really lose my wealth, I spent it all on 99 Construction and my house. :shock: Ever since, I first hunted Chompies for their raw hide but that is only 300k an hour, it'll only be worth it if they rise to 4k each. (Not sure why they were EVER worth 1.5k... :roll: ) Then I fished about 1000 Sharks to afford a Whip and then I killed a bunch of Abyssal Demons and got another Whip and about 400k of other stuff as well. Then I hunted some Green Dragons which turns out to be 400k per hour and then I tried Blue Dragons which turns out to only be 300k per hour...and they were empty as well. :? Now I have roughly 4M and 1M worth of Flatpacks. (Someone PLEASE buy them from me? :( There's only 2000 of them and I obviously can't afford an expensive thing to lend out for junk) But anyhoo, I'm fishing more Sharks in hopes to get a Big Shark and at the moment I have almost 1M worth of more Sharks. I'm also merchanting 2 Whips at a time in the GE for about 40k profit each per day. (Any better methods to merchant? :( ) I am also very close to being able to do While Guthix Sleeps for a free 2.5M but I'm too lazy to do 5 more quests for now. So yeah that's my story. :o Hmm also forgot that I tried Bandos for 7 hours straight and didn't even get a Shard. -.- Also forgot that I have enough points for 50 Penguin points for free money. :ohnoes:

I'm not sure but all I know is you gain profit and Mage experience at the same time. The closeness to the Portal is just because it's more convenient rather than running far to find it, it uses up more run energy that way and takes longer per trip.

It's true that you need high hits to KO, but like I said in my main post you already hit high enough as it is without the little Strength trinkets. Assuming you went into pvp with the setup to the right and use Super Strength Potions and Piety, with a Dragon Dagger special you can max 39,39 and with the Whip you can max 44. As a bonus you also have amazingly high Defense and can constantly hit high numbers like that without needing to eat as much. If you did pvp with the setup on the left, you can max 72 with the AGS special or 58 without it. However, if you swapped the Warrior Helm for a Neitiznot Helm and the Warrior Ring for a Berserker Ring, that is sacrificing +8 Slash Attack (8 more chances to hit at all to trigger the Strength roulette wheel) for the chance to do a possible 2 more damage with the AGS special or 1 more damage without it. (According to Tip.it calc)

Yeah it is all speculation, but it's the best thing there is to go off of. However, I'm willing to bet that if you placed 2 people with all 99 Melee stats wearing those specific equipments that the one on the right would win most of the time. Also because the Godsword is fairly slow and the Whip hits almost 2 times in the time that the Godsword hits once which is sort of like doubled odds in a way.

I think you also have to multiply it by 100 (%) to get the odds otherwise it's in the decimals such as 0.21345, but if I do so then this is what comes up: Left Picture = 53% Right Picture = 60% Which seems pretty correct. Also, I didn't realize that about Dragon Gauntlets, I assumed Barrows were the best lol. :o However, Lucky Cutlass also gives +6 Slash Defense and I think the Castle Wars Cloaks give +3 Slash Attack, but those really aren't that logical to use. :?

After the Postbag and the theory that langer came up with do you still choose Strength as the main skill for fighting? I don't mean to put him on the spot or anything, but here's his post. It's a very smart and logical one. :thumbup: "not only is this fine maths, it's also an insight as to how hits and damage are calculated. It also confirms what I've been thinking for some time. Every time you hit a monster, your attack level (plus prayer boost and slayer helmet effect or salve ammy) added to your gear attack bonus (slash, stab or crush) gives a number (let's say 250 maxed out with godsword). From this number, a random number is rolled. Let's say you rolled 185. On that hit, your enemy will roll a random number from 0 to ... whatever his max bonus is. If your enemy rolls 185 and higher, you splash a 0. If it rolls under 185, you will get a hit. The hit is determine by the str bonus and another random number is rolled translating to damage. Note that you could succeed with your attack roll and hit a 0 with your str roll. That's still hypothetical, but I'm pretty sure that's the most accurate explanation." I myself have always thought that Attack bonuses are better than Strength but now it is sort of proven. Everyone uses the Helm of Neitiznot for the Strength Bonus, which according to the roulette wheel, means +3 chances to hit higher than 0 as long as the Attack roulette wheel managed a number greater than the opponents Defense bonus's roulette wheel to begin with. However, a Warrior Helm gives +4 Slash which means +4 chances to hit higher than the opponents Defense roulette wheel does therefore triggering you being able to hit any damage at all with the Strength roulette wheel. The below picture shows the maximum Slash Attack and maximum Slash Defense. It doesn't take into factor Strength bonus, Special Attacks, Prayers or the speed of weapons, but basically the lower total number should mean that setup has a higher chance of winning. (I know this because if you assume the opponent has 50 Slash Attack, the total number is in the 300s which is bad, so the number being higher is bad) This is also assuming that each player has all 99 Melee stats. Most people always go for the maximum Strength bonus they can, but that isn't what you should do. Unless you are doing some sort of Duel or something, you basically have enough Strength bonus as it is with the weapon itself to do very decent damage, so why give up the Defense or Attack bonuses for the Strength bonus? It really doesn't make sense to do that. :? If you give up the Warrior Ring for the Berserker Ring, that's like sacrificing +4 chances to hit at all for +4 chances to hit above 0 (assuming the Attack roulette wheel even made it to the Strength/damage roulette wheel) and that +4 chance to hit above 0 is basically a chance to hit 1 damage, which is stupid because you already do significant damage with the weapon itself. This makes sense to me anyhow. :-# Personally, I would choose maximum Defense over anything because it stops them from hitting you a hell of a lot, and even though your chances of hitting them may be slightly lower than usual if you had maximum Attack bonuses, you still have enough chance to deal damage to them and rarely get hit yourself.

I love how Jagex has the exact same examine for all three fish trophies. -.- As for where the Butler spawns, I'll remove it. I have no idea how it works. After removing and rebuilding another room a few times, my Butler now spawns there instead. :o
