  1. Check out the green writing. -.- -.- In my opinion, this quest should have it's own classification on Tip.it as "very hard." I lost like 70 health in that single blow lol... :o
  2. Used to be Animal Apogee, but I recently did tons of quests. Now I love Spa Bizzare. :o
  3. I don't mean this as an insult or anything offensive, but I found your post sort of funny. Every single Quest on the Tip.it Guide that says it has a boss fight in it, I never take it seriously, none of them are hard lol. I killed that Barrelchest thing in like 20 seconds. Tip.it needs to rethink their difficulty levels for Quests lol, most of the "hard" Quests just are not hard at all. Some medium ones are worse.
  4. The experience you get is the level of the skill you choose X 25 X The amount of points cashed in, I think. So do that 10 times with a level 80 stat and you gain like 1M experience which is like a half hour at the most?
  5. From the RSOF. ;)
  6. I got perm banned for making jokes towards friends in a clan chat before which is nothing compared to this. Hell yes these people should get a permanent ban. And isn't Elvemage99 some famous pker or something? Idiot to abuse the Penguin thing. :? 1.9M Slayer experiece isn't even possible to gain in one day either unless you have all of the points to spend with Sumona. Which no one does because that is A LOT.
  7. Even with the guide it's hard and complicating. They always leave out so much when they write their guides. For example, they'll say "then use bla bla on the Pillar" after it said to use something on another one. But it won't say which Pillar to use bla bla on, it just assumes you know which one.
  8. Hardest Quest in existance completed!
  9. So I was Fishing the other day, when the Lochness Monster attacked me.
  10. I have to get them all over again from when I got hacked a long time ago! You have no idea how much that makes me angry. But then I just think of the clans out there who have enough tickets for multiple sets, and I feel a bit better. : Congrats.
  11. Lep replied to Lep's topic in General Guides
Thanks. : I added a picture of my house design. Take any ideas you wish. ;)
  12. This is honestly one of the dumbest posts I've ever seen. Less than 100 "idiots" with 400m+? There's probably 100 tif users alone with more than 400m, and there's thousands if not 10s of thousands of players with 400m+. On top of that, you think that everyone who has money made it unfairly - which tells me that either you're jealous, or simply aren't very well educated on how money is made. *Side note* - The real world traders on the purchasing end are very poor in game, and the real world traders on the selling end are extremely rich in game and they make that money in-game, fairly. So using real world traders as an example was poor in itself. Anywho, you think that prices are correct as they are? The reason Divine/Elysian spirit shields are stuck in the GE is not because there's "100 idiots" stock piling them...it's because they are WORTH more than their GE price, and people are WILLING to pay as much as 300m+ for them...just like how people are willing to sell their partyhats for 50m but the GE won't let them. As for the the usefullness of those shields, if you feel the DFS is better, then you go right ahead and be happy that it's hundreds of millions cheaper - but that's an opinion, not a fact. The stronger opinion however, is that the Divine shield is the best shield for the money bosses (gwd/kq) and the Eylysian shield is better for killing higher level non-boss npcs, and rune defender is better for low-medium level npcs. Now don't get me wrong...for it's price, the DFS probably is the best shield, but for those who have money and want the best of the best equipment, those 2 shields are better than DFS. Also, DFS is the best shield against dragons/wyverns still obviously. Individuals can't change prices, small groups can't change prices...supply and demand is what runs the economy (even in rs) and as of right now, the GE prices are completely failing to reflect the supply and demand of a lot of items properly. P.S. - was writing this before jenova posted...it's nice to see some people have a basic understanding for how things work. I highly, highly doubt 10s of thousands of people have over 400M+. I made that post because I've played quite a few other games and Runescape is no different. MANY more people real world trade and buy cash than they are given credit for. These GP selling "companies" don't advertise and keep staying open because no one buys GP from them, it's because people buy GP from them constantly. (Or at least used to, before all of the limits) Tons of the people with amazingly high amounts of cash have bought it, and don't tell me most havn't, because they have. I've played a few games where only a few HUNDRED people play, and people spend thousands buying in game cash. People are not nearly as good as they are given credit for, they will real world trade and buy in game cash by the millions and they will act as if it's nothing, and they will lie constantly about it and others will believe that they are telling the truth. Even now with the limits, people real world trade Godswords, do that 10 times and you have almost 1 Billion GP, for what, only a few hundred $? That is not very much money to spend at ALL whatsoever for that amount of in game cash. I've seen this type of thing many times, and I've even been part of it before in another game, but when a new company finally took over, the main people making the game unfair and real world trading all got banned and now when I read the forums there, it is slightly friendlier and there's less arguing and bickering going on. @Bedman I'm sorry to hear that, but I stick with my opinion. However, yes I was being slightly sarcastic with that and sort of meant it to be a little comedic, but you probably understand generally what I'm trying to get at. I do understand that people have more money today than a few years ago, but 100M is still an extremely large amount of cash, even 10M is. There really isn't that many people with over 400M and higher, that is an extremely high amount of money. If 10s of thousands of people had over 400M like the other guy was suggesting, then this game would just be ridiculous. Nothing would be the prices they are now and merchanting would be far out of control. If 10,000 people had 400M each, that's 4,000,000,000,000 GP. That's just ridiculous, that many people don't have over 400M. :wall: However, as I'm writing this I feel like this is starting to get a little off topic...
  13. In my opinion, all of the GE Prices are completely correct, although Blue Phat should be lowered a bit. The way I see it is that the real problem is that there are a small handfull of players out there with amazingly high amounts of cash who real world traded, faked stakes and sold brand new items ridiculously high, such as when Whips first came out. There's got to be about what, 100 or less extremely rich people out there with 400m+? Most of this money wasn't even gained fairly, but few were. So the way I see it, Runescape has roughly 100 rich idiots that constantly sell and resell items amongst each other over and over and not selling items in the GE because they are too stuck up to sell their items for a price which their group of 100 people doesn't think is the right price, even though most of the money they have wasn't gained fairly in the first place. The GE price of Spirit Shields for example, that price is perfect. However, the 100 idiots all agree that 130M is way too cheap. So they decide to price it at 500M, which is the price that only the 100 idiots can buy at. Many people out there can't even afford a Whip, and the average rich player has only enough to buy a Godsword and some good armor. The actual rich people, the 100 idiots who gained their money unfairly, need to stop being stuck up and sell in the GE. Seriously, 130M or whatever is a perfectly reasonable price for a stupid shield which has less stats than a DFS but has some stupid special with it. The AGS is only about 60M because of it's special... are you seriously telling me that because a shield can block 25% damage, it adds 500M to it's value? No, it doesn't, but the 100 idiots seem to think so. Yes, 3rd Age is very rare, but it's stats are also worse than Barrows which should be kept into factor even though this is Runescape and things are different here. A full set of 3rd Age Melee that is worse than Torags shouldn't cost almost 1 Billion, but the 100 idiots think it is. However, even amongst those 100 idiots, maybe only 50 of those idiots can even afford something that high.
  14. Why not Chin Bandits in wildy?
  15. It wasn't reset, I have no clue where you got that from. I have been watching videos on Youtube all day and not been logged out.
  16. This is a rants forum you know. Even if the rant is short or dumb or relates to the RSOF, rather than post jerk comments like the entire community at Runescape Community Forums, you could just not post anything at all and let the thread die, letting the creator have his rant in peace. :?
  17. If I had known about some of these things when training Construction and building my house, I would have saved about 20M. Too bad none of these are mentioned anywhere, which is why I thought I'd put up some tips. ;) I hope this helps some of you, I know it would have helped me. :? General -Just because you have the ability to build all of the best stuff, doesn't mean you should. You shouldn't build 30 Teleport Traps just because there are 30 Trap hotspots. You shouldn't make Hanging Skeletons and Skull Torches everywhere in your Dungeon, that makes it feel cluttered. -Don't build the best of something in your house until you are 100% positive that's what you want to do. -Go to other peoples houses to get ideas, but try to do something unique. Such as a Maze. -You cannot have a room against the very border edge of the house zone, if you attempt to do so it just creates another square of land, so do not base your house on having a door blocked by the border, because that doesn't work. -A symmetrical house is more favoured by people and is easier to find things easier than a huge and expanded house. -Do not base your house on glitches and rooms with glitches! These will most likely be fixed one day and could ruin your house design. -There are a few rooms you should keep close to the Portal because it is much more convenient to your guests and often to you, the owner. These rooms include the Chapel, Study, Quest Hall with Glory and the Portal Chamber(s). Bedroom -You can buy the Gilded Wardrobe, Gilded Dresser, Gilded Clock and Gilded 4-Poster as Flatpacks which only cost a few thousand each in the Grand Exchange, saving you hundreds of thousands. -The 2 Bedrooms required to have a Butler are completely useless after 99 Construction unless your house requires a Butler for a certain aspect of the house or you just prefer to have one. -Bedrooms provide absolutely no party value when hosting a party so you should remove them for more party valued rooms unless you need the Bedrooms for the point mentioned above. Games Room -You can only have 1 of these in your house. -No one ever plays the Archery Target or the Dartboard during house parties so you'd do best to get the Hoop and Stick game because people actually play it. Combat Room -The Combat Ring is the most favoured and most used of all of the available types during house parties. To make the most out of a Combat Ring you will want to put it beside a Chapel Room in your Dungeon, that is one of the main attractions during a house party. -Ranging Pedestals are nice, but you need to give people a reason to use them. The best way to do this is to put them in the Dungeon and act as a "Dungeon Junction" so that people HAVE to go past them, giving the Ranging Pedestals a purpose and so people actually use them. If you make the Ranging Pedestals in an unpopular area, it rarely gets used. Dining Room -This room can be used as a means to get back into your house with the Pull Bell to call the Butler. Think creatively to use it. -This room is currently used mainly for it's possible glitches, but don't base your design on those because one day they will be fixed. Quest/Skill Hall -Not much to mention besides the Staircases. If your Staircase only leads to an above room, then don't build a Spiral Staircase. It's annoying for the guests to have to right click and choose to go up, just build a normal Staircase. If it goes both up and down, then build a Spiral Staircase. Study -Not much to say besides to make sure to build the Eagle Lecturn and not the Demon Lecturn. People use Eagle much more at house parties. -Don't build this room in a Dungeon or beside in another room because if the Telescope is blocked from outside view, you can't use it. -You should build this near your Portal. Chapel -Marble Burners are not required for the full bonus, they just cost more. -You should have a Chapel with a Gilded Altar close to your Portal and a Chapel with an Altar in your Dungeon beside a Combat Room. Formal Garden -A Marble Wall might be cool, but it is very hard to see with any of the hedges because they are all bigger than it is. If you build a Marble Wall, it looks better if your have multiple Formal Gardens together with Marble Walls so that they connect and can be seen easier. -Only really necessary to have one of the for a Portal. However, even though the Formal Garden is basically useless just like a Garden, it is often popular for people to hang out in during house parties. Throne Room -I highly suggest not building a Greater Demon Cage. It is extremely annoying for guests because they can be teleported away resulting in you losing guests during house parties. Obliette -You shouldn't build a Bone Cage and a Flame Pit together because they result in almost 99% death to anyone that falls into it. This is annoying to guests and after they die so many times, they don't want to come back. Dungeon -Teleport Traps are cool, but I highly suggest having very few of these. They get extremely annoying to guests including the owner, especially when there are 2 in a row, it is almost impossible to get past. -Marble Traps deal no damage and even though they fall, they can still click somewhere to run and after they get up, their character will zoom over there really fast. So they basically do nothing. -Tangle Vines should be used in spots where they will be held for other people to kill or other monsters to kill, such as in front of Ranging Pedestals or a Steel Dragon. -This is one of the most important points you should also be thinking about. Try to find a way to make every room serve a purpose and so that people either have to go to a room or want to. For example, don't make some long corridor with a Chapel at the end, people will not use something like that. You shouldn't make 2 seperate dungeons either. Although the thought of it might be cool, no one actually wants to go through your dungeon and then enter the second one to kill some boss monster, after they kill it...woopity doo, then they just leave the room. -People prefer dungeons that have the rooms close together rather than spread out during house parties. Keep this is mind to make every room serve a purpose. [hide=My house design. I hope it gives you some ideas when making your house!][/hide]
  18. Costed me about 130m+ for house and the level with SC Tools. And to above comment lol.
  19. 64-99 all with SC Hammers. That's over 200 games played. Flat broke now only having a few hundred thousand left besides over 1M in junk Wardrobes. (Anyone wanna trade all those Wardrobes for their Whip? )
  20. All done from 64-99 with SC Hammers. ;)
  21. 1) Chick ranging in metal armor 2) Chick isn't wearing accumulator 3) Chick using D sq shield 4) Chick is a guy. 5) Chick hit a 0 6) Chick has nothing on her head
  22. I knew I wasn't the only one. Imageshack never did this until recently. I hate Imageshack now. :x
  23. Wouldn't junk trading be eliminated if General Stores simply bought items for their GE price?
  24. It is nice, yes, but the whole idea behind talking penguin spies threatening to kill something is just stupid. :? Something like spying on White Knights would make more sense and it'd fit into the game a hell of a lot more.
