  1. COFFEE! A cup of home made coffee in the morning can keep me awake at night... :-s But coffee from Timmy's has no effect at all <-- alittle stingy on the caffeine I bet.
  2. RIP Steve Irwin I watched his show alot when I still had cable. My mom especially, just loves him. His enthusiasm towards wildlife and his famous catchword "Crikey!" will be sorely missed.
  3. The right arm is one of the areas I need to touch up hehe. Anyways, the intent is to have the arm emerging from the ground with fire spewing from the cracks. At the same time, a cloud of mist (smoke) is circulating the giant. The right leg isn't small at all, it's just clouded. XD In the original sized picture which is 8x11 inches at 200dpi, the leg is more visible because the quality is much much better. Also, in this picture - the focus is mainly on the foreground therefore the distant objects tend to lose its focus (almost blurred) and colour quality (atmospheric consideration as well but I'm not too familiar with that...). This is why I didn't want to add too many details like texturing. I have only made 2 runescape pixel signatures and one that was incomplete and later scrapped. The other pixel works included one SPAWN Christmas special and a load of BK3 buddies. XD Thanks for the comments everyone :) I'm planning on another runescape picture but my brothers are pressuring me to finish the Blizzard Art Contest entry XD
  4. EDIT: whoops, sorry for intruding the game. I thought this was free for all :anxious: #-o
  5. tac_yzal (pronunciation: tak' e' zal') nas flow #-o (pronunciation: nas' flow') ^haha nice...
  6. 0.5 sec http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/5392/oneup9.gif 1 sec http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/66/twodt1.gif Btw, very nice pixeling. Is this for something *hint hint* because there's a Blizzard Art Contest still going on right now. :)
  7. It's the Demons, Dragons and Giants graphic updates. :) http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=530256&start=0
  8. Yes, I do but it's really really boring. Its nothing more than a collection of my school projects hehe. :uhh: I sold prints before and that was during the 2006 anime convention here in Toronto. It was fun but not very profitable though hehe. :uhh: I was aiming for a one-handed battle axe so that's why the handle is alittle short. But as for the battle head...I suppose I can make it alittle bigger. :-k How old am I?? :ohnoes: With one year and 2 months more and I'm no longer in the groovy "teens" (if you know what I mean :-w ) Anyways, I just completed a new piece as a tribute to Jagex's new graphic updates. I'm not a member so I dont know the Fire Giant's environment (surrounding) is like so if you could lend me a hand and suggest some additions to the picture then that would be great!
  9. Different colour schemes. Compare this to the green and red : D Most recent piece - just finished it an hour ago. I limited the range of colours used so I could focus on the human musculature (particularly on the arms). I'm thinking of removing that peculiar little cliff in the middle or move the guy up to give him more leg room. Anyways, I still need to refine some more areas but I'm taking a break before school starts again! Critiques are always welcome and helpful : ) ---------------- Satenza's Runescape Signature 1. Click - Initial sketch. 2. Click - Figuring out the colour scheme. 3. Click - Months later....lol Major changes. 4. 10. Process; frame-by-frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the second portrait digi-painting that I have done (the first was Jack Sparrow). Program: Photoshop Cs2 Brush(s): Hard Round and Airbrush Hard Round Reference: Click Me Please... (dun look like her but that's ok!)
  11. Your colour choices are very bright but that's just me prefering saturated and dark colours. :XD: Anyways, you should try making the mime mask white with a shade of grey instead of it being completely grey. And his hands are abit tiny and squashed. Agreed. Also, try making a variety of different shape, size, and shade of grasses and waves to get rid of the repetitive patterns. But more importantly, the grass style of shading is very gradient thus, giving it a rounded look.
  12. 'Hard Round' brush and the 'Airbrush Hard Round' were the only two brushes that I used. Venomai I believe and there was Tttia too :)
  13. Reference picture Painted in photoshop cs2 with default brushes. Took a good 4 hours to finish it. :anxious: mini-frame-by-frame
  14. Aye, there is a mask and I'm not joking... :ohnoes: You'll need to look closer... :-k (I originally started off painting a guy's face but then decided to add in a hidden twist "behind" it...)
  15. Hehe, it is not wether the mask looks like a man or not but more like who is wearing it... :XD: (I guess no one noticed it...yet...)
  16. Hi all :anxious: Here's my latest piece. [P.S. AKA Night-howls from RSC ]

    Arrrr!

My sisters saw it and they said it was great! (Darn them! They spoiled the ending!) :wall: Anyways, I'm definitely looking forward to it if ya'll say its loaded with action!
  18. Aye, I have too many to type down >.< So here's one recent and one oldie... "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid." - har \ "No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try. " - Yoda man
  19. Who...are you? lol joking. Yah, I remember you. Hehe. If you recognize the respective symbol for lumbridge then it was easy to figure it out. hehe.
  20. Aye, tis lumbridge castle indeed XD Yes it is. lol Two flags are missing as well so I'll be adding that soon too. Any suggestion on how to give it the illusion of distant on the castle? I dont know whether I ought to blur the colours or saturate the colours. Right now, the colours are seemingly too bright.
  21. In the second version, I've included blue-ish touches (highlights) on the statue to give it more of a nightly feel. How does that look? P.S. I've included another picture but this time, its in the morning. It's an incomplete piece because I need some advices on the door and plants (mainly the colours XD).
  22. I hate chili peppers but my family loves them...why?! Anyways, last summer we grew about 30 or 35 pepper plants assuming that most of them would die off due to our poor history of gardening. Unexpectedly, it was a great success! We harvested enough peppers to give away and keep in stock to last us til now. Erg. Now there's pepper in almost everything my mom cooks! But my brother, he's the worse! He doubles the amount of pepper in his cooking! I can't enjoy anything with chili pepper in it >.< (But milk is my best friend...)
  23. I didnt get a chance to fire anything  Nor did I see any fireworks around my area *sad* I can hear them whistling in the distant though. Funny, I can still hear some now and its the 2nd of July...(I hope it's firecrackers that I'm hearing...)
  24. His nose...its...its overpowering the face!!! His face looks really red too XD but the colours are well defined. Most of my digi-paintings are colour faded so I have to adjust the contrast before completion, just to help bring out those colours. XD Grr... Anyways. You should try brushing the entire face first instead of concentrating on one area at a time. I did that once and it took forever...I actually went berserk one night and started brushing really quickly (madness I tell yah, madness!)...and then the next morning, I went back and calmly brushed in the details overtop the messiness from the night before. Check out the "varrock night thingy thread" - I included a frame by frame process. 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming' \ P.S. I dont know what paint shop pro is like but for photoshop, I brush with an opaque brush. It blends colour better than smudging it with the smudge tool... :-s P.S.S Godslayer, any similarity? lol ^One of the first digi-painting I did...the nose... #-o
  25. The body looks great! And I dont think she's buff at all - especially when you compare her with those muscle women. :anxious: I think, the only thing I would change is the face. Instead of a 3/4 view, you should try just a frontal view. :-k And the eyes and mouth are alittle too big for the face XD googled : The rectus femoris or vastus lateralis...? lol *shrugs* But adding on to that point - one piece of muscle seems to have merged with one another creating one gigantic muscle. And I think that's why it looks so 'puffed' as Nazgul pointed out. The muscle that she's missing is either the rectus femoris or vastus lateralis but most likely the rectus femoris...(I just call it the middle muscle hahaha)
