Found out about it in 02 from a friend I went to school with. Started playing it on my laptop and was hooked for 3 years... heehee, I also started playing Jagexs other games like Slimewars and Chess but they took those away. :cry:

Yes, the need for a serious clan infrastructure within Runescape has been an issue ever since big clans started to be formed. If anyone has played Planetside, their outfit system is what I was envisioning as what mor1a was trying to describe.

Exactly... As Toxicologist points out, Jagex is now making money. They have the finances to make better looking games (RS2) and expand their corporation. There will be a time when Runescape will fade (not necessarily fall) but I don't think that Jagex will allow that to happen for quite some time as this game now attracts tens of thousands of players daily.

Won't merchants find a new "market" to tap?
