The 10 Things to Do Before You Quit
Done everything on that list except attend a TET event...

State of the Union 2006
Didn't miss much...

Tip.It Times: Cleaning away the scum
It's a constant battle that has no end in sight. I liked the article but it didn't really leave much as to what's going to happen in the future. Mainly the fact that macroers will be back and everything will be back to normal within a few weeks.

Blue Phats
That's totally ridiculous... Most of the macro accounts were level 3s. What idiot would transfer a Party Hat onto an account that runs the risk of getting banned daily? There are plenty of Party Hats left in the game despite people hoarding them, leaving the game without selling them, or what have you. It's such a shame that these hats have reached ridiculous prices but what can you do... That's what JAGeX gets for not interfering in the economy.

Its time for me to go...
Uhm, I quit and my bank is still full.

Ideas 4 a F2P Quest
I see a flame war coming... Having a quest where you were a general of sorts, and actually led a small unit into battle would be pretty cool. But for F2P? Dream on...

Runescape Gods = Jagex Founders?
Yeah, I agree with Bubsa... And if there were any sort of connection between the Gods and the creators I'd line up Andrew with Zamarok and Paul with Saradomin because Andrew has no sense of humor and is a bit of a jerk. Paul's cool and is seen on RS more than any of the other creators.

Reward Clix?
There are lots of better ways to make money than trying the crap that's on the internet. As suggested, go out and do petty jobs here and there for a $1 or $2. You only have to come up with $5 for a months worth of members... Do you get an allowance?

Macroers Defeated?
Well, you're wrong then. 5 bucks isn't a lot to most people, especially to those who are older than teenagers since they know more about scripting macros. These were the people I was talking about on my post on the last page... There are plenty of members that macro, they're just not as detectable or suspect because they're not level 3. People are so prejudiced against level 3s that are doing things that others can fly under the radar.

Shark Cooking
This might have changed since RSC but back then (I was an avid fisher/chef because it was easy money) I caught and cooked shark and had cooking gaunts. A friend of mine, who had 99 cooking, also used gaunts but managed to burn a few sharks every now and then. I don't want to sound like I'm flaming the author or necessarily talk trash about his chart but it is still possible to burn shark at 99 cooking even with gaunts. And don't the cooking gauntlets give you the equivalent of 3 cooking levels?

Macroers Defeated?
He does have a point though. Sure, there are lots of cheaters out there that are idiots about it, who let it run all day and night without any regard to getting caught. These people you don't have to worry about because JAGeX will get them on their own, eventually... The people that the community needs to be worried about are the people that don't macro 24/7. I'm talking about the people that macro occasionally and aren't obvious because their combat isn't low. SCAR is the best, and most popular, macro software out there. Why? Because it's easy to use and difficult to detect because all it is is a color clicker. It's very easy to use SCAR on, not necessarily your main account, but an account that isn't level 3 and obvious.

I never realized how big of a problem autoing had become.
Any suggestions? Sure, I bet everyone would love for that to happen. The million dollar question, though, is how is that going to happen. And don't say IP ban because that's been suggested and shot down before.
-
Macroers Defeated?
People who believe that autoers are gone from RS because of either the mass ban or the loss of one of the creators of the program are fools.

Farewell Runescape
Why would people claim that if it wasn't true? I doubt anyone is pathetic enough to need the compliments and awe of people on internet forums to the point where they have to lie about how long they've been playing. As to the author of the post: good luck, and I agree with all the points you made.

What dumb luck
Quite possibly one of the best written posts I have EVER seen...

Warning!!! New way of Scamming!!!! A MUST Read!!!
Ok, I don't really understand how people don't see this as a blatant scam the second he wants you to enter the wilderness... That immediately should set off every single alarm in your head that this isn't a legit. deal. I suppose people need to be warned about this but I think anyone with a single ounce of common sense should see this for what it is.

~What are the odds of this!~
Yeah, lighting grass on fire is arson... Hardly the same as throwing snowballs at cars.

Age 17, 5'9 ft Male 205 POUNDS!!!!PLZ give me tips
Yeah... that's what I was going to say. I can understand you wanting to lose the fat, but losing weight is a totally different thing. If you simply want to lose weight then working out isn't going to help you. If you miscommunicated and you want to gain muscle, then I'd suggest simply doing 50-100 pushups/situps a day followed by running a mile or two. Eating a healthy diet is also important. Keep off the pastas and breads and stick with meats and vegetables.

The Worst Thing someone Ever said to you?
 That's definitely the worst thing I've ever heard...
-
Boredom
When I get bored, I turn on my macros! The trick to eliminating boredom is to mix things up. When Runecrafting or Fishing gets tiresome, go train combat or do a quest. It's all about variety.
- Did you all know this?

~What are the odds of this!~
Well it was also a snowball... It's not like you were caught dropping rocks onto car windshields from a freeway overpass. I wouldn't consider throwing snowballs vandalism. You're not defacing property or necessarily deliberately attempting to destroy it. It's a childish thing that kids do.

Kids at school using the word noob.
I hold a special sort of hatred for people that use computer lingo in real life. And when people go "lol" or "omg" in real life is really annoying and stupid. I've never heard anyone say "noob" in real life before, it's strictly a computer game thing and I think it should stay that way.

Fun with google maps...
That's awesome... I used to live near Huntingdon too.

~What are the odds of this!~
And you've never done something stupid or immature when you were a kid? And yes, the cop was right to discipline him and his cousin but to throw him in jail for throwing a snowball? So what about Senior Pranks at High Schools? Should the entire Senior class be thrown in jail for playing a traditional prank on the school?
