OK, I've played Pokemon for Gameboy and they have slot machines in that game. And you can't possibly tell me that Pokemon is targetted to be appealing to people 18 and up. So if Pokemon can have gambling, I don't see why Runescape's children shouldn't be able to gamble their gp away.

What about dynamic IPs? My IP is static but if I wanted to I could get it changed. Other people's IPs change constantly everytime they connect to the internet. Thus rendering IP bans useless. And to the contact details, they already make you enter your e-mail address.

Exactly... The whole reason for the second screen is to see what exactly is the final offer between the two players. It doesn't really get more obvious and safe than that. JAGex, in my opinion, has sufficiently tried to protect players from scammers yet people still manage to get swindled. That's no longer JAGeX's problem, that's people's problem now. Why waste JAGeX's time creating this new flickering text when they have more important updates?

There will be a time when RS will fall on its face but it's not in sight... Just because the game is limited now where 99 is the highest level, doesn't mean they can't change that in the event that these "super weapons" and "super armor" are created. They can also create new skills like Slayer where leveling that is the prerequisite for these new weapons and armor so don't worry about that being the end of the game. And even when this so called "end of RS" occurs, it might simply be the end of RS2, as RS2 was the killer of RSC, what's stopping JAGeX from creating an RS3 to replace RS2 when technology improves? The only way that I can see RS ending pre-maturely is if something happens to the JAGeX corporation, not RS the game.

I, personally, don't see why everyone is getting so upset about the label the media attached to this kid. I'm more interested in what kind of punishment this kid's gonna get. Personally, I'm hoping for 25 to life. I don't care that he's 14, he committed first degree murder and should get punished for it. Sure, he could do with a short stint in a mental hospital but I think that the second he turns 18, he be thrown in jail. To the whole "Goth" argument, I don't think people should take it so seriously. It's the media's job to categorize and label people to make their stories sound more interesting. And yes, it also gave them another chance to point and say that all Goths are crazy, family killers. But who cares? Goths know this isn't true and well educated, open minded people know this isn't true too. So the only people that believe stereotypes are the idiots and who cares what they have to say?

People that fool themselves into thinking that they've seen the last of a bot are going to be in for a shock. Sure, maybe the guy from Autobot quit but big deal... That is definitely a popular cheating program but not the most popular and by far not the most effective. And so what, the creator quit, doesn't mean that the program suddenly dropped dead. And to the ridiculous comment that the autoing/cheating community is self-destructing, give them a week and everything will be back to normal. It is true that the cheating community relies heavily on people that know how to write scripts and how to create programs and that losing the creator of Autobot is a minor glitch in the system. As pointed out earlier, SCAR is still as healthy as ever. The only time in the long history between JAGeX and cheaters where it has appeared that JAGeX has won was after the party hat creating and the mass banning that followed. All the programmers and creators of AshyRune and [ForbiddenSite] either were banned or quit. But even still Kaitnieks and a few others remained to create SCAR which is the beauty that we have today.

I remember being so thrilled when I found the duplicating cheat for Red/Blue/Yellow. That's the only way I managed to catch all 150/151 Pokemon was by duplicating the Masterball a million times. I was so lazy... :oops:

Sure it would be lonely and a little eerie but who cares? You have all of RS to yourself. Go to all the popular training spots like Greater Demons and train for a good 5 hours of the day. Get bored, go mine for an hour or so in the nice and deserted Mining Guild. Then take a crack at the Fishing Guild by fishing sharkies for another final trip into the wildy and a meeting with the Greater Demons again to round out the day.

hehe Yeah I'm guilty too. Though not recently, simply because I can't find my GameBoy. If I knew where it was I'm sure I'd pop in my Yellow or Gold Version and play that for awhile. My favorite Pokemon game of all time was Pokemon Pinball. Two of my most favorite games combined into one glorious achievement of technology. Ahh, those were the good days. I think after they came out with Ruby and Sapphire I started to lose my interest because it was obviously just another way for them to start the endless cycle of Pokemon over again.

The boy should be sent somewhere for several years, possibly a life sentence; but in determining what type of a fecility he should be sent to for rehabilitation, we must look over evidence and accounts of the situation and the boy's past. Oh man, I haven't played Warhammer 40k in a looooong time... I think my Space Marines are in some box in my garage lol. I collected Black Templars way back when in like 1998. Good times, I check the Warhammer site from time to time to see all the new models and things they've come out with. I'd actually like to get a hold of the Black Templar Codex because when I first started collecting they weren't a very common Chapter and I'm interested in their background stories and special characters. Since I haven't touched the things in awhile, can you semi-elaborate on what's happened in the past, what 8 years? kthx
