i did a small table on this i'll try and find the old thread, but using abou 4 drop lists i worked out that dusties drop chains about 1 in every 5651 not 12k...

lol i just said this in another topic, but clue scrolls are different from other drops, they are completly random, for example the row makes no difference to the drop rate, so the best way to get one is just to train normally and hope for 1...

the clues are different form other drops, it's completly random, for example a row doesn't make any difference to clue scroll drops, so there isn't really a good way to get them, but you shouldn't waste your time, just train normally and you'll get 1 or 2 every occasionally...

As true as you can get. I am quite sick of all the people comlaining about the ROW. STATISTICALLY, it has an effect. But people forgot that those are only statistics, and that it's still all about luck. I guess some people dont understand what # % chance means... Confirmation. Its all about the luck of the dice. Just because you take off your ring of wealth, and for a few seconds you get some good drops, doesn't mean that it doesn't pay off in the long run. yeah you just got to think about it like a dice with thousands of sides, and on each side you have a drop... the ROW slightly changes it but riggs the dice, but it's minor, only really makes a noticable difference with extremly rare items, such as dragon items...

i feel sorry for you and await your return... but i'm sure you'll think of something that could convince jagex, i've never been banned so i can't say i know how you feel, but i can only imagine. I once got reported, but they didn't do anything, just send me a message saying that you've been reported and it's going on your perm record... so sort of know the regret your feeling

this is what i used to use... but now i use prayer pots and a holy rench, the bottom pot is just a bac up i usually don't need to use...

KQ? Kalphite-Queen? I think you mean KC. Anyway, time has nothing to do with it. Everytime you kill any brother or monster at the barrows, their items go in the chest. Killing all six brothers increases the chance of at least one of them dropping an item. The monsters in the tunnel drop runes only. Kill a lot of them and you will only get more runes. Time has nothing to do with it. yeah thats what i thought too i've never even heard about this theory of the faster you do it, the better the loot

ahhh... the forgettable tale of a drunken dwarf, i love that quest... anyway, back on topic i think i agree with you, i think they should've made it harder, although if they did, then people would be stuck on the ship with no way to get off but teleing, which they may not have... so you understand that they couldn't make it too long or hard, unless they made it in kind of sections...like most of the long quests are...

yeah i wasn't exactly prepared for it either, but i managed to kill him (just) thats pretty lucky, i've only had one person die with me around to pick up the goods, but then again i got over a mill form him so i can't really complain...

well because they are so rare, i don't think many people would know if you ask me you should just ask jagex... but just because nobody responding in help & advice, doesn't mean you should spam general p2p

i agree when i was lower leveled, and didn't know much about all the other skills, i was quite happy to sit there and thieve til the sun went down, but now that i'm a higher and a more knowledgable i think it's got nothing on all the other skills, i so yeah i think there should be more tangable rewards, or more things the thieve... so in simple words i agree it does need improvment
