  1. When I don't feel like talking I use emotes, then people think I'm muted and stop talking to me.
  2. cardboard? :-s If you mean the logs, I use em to make fires on for cooking.
  3. I cooked all lobs for 99 cooking. I did willows for 99% of my wc'ing, I probably did yews for a lvl or two. The only runes I buy are natures, everything else are from drops...although I did trade a bunch of airs for the minds I have. I use the w16 ess runners to train rc. I started using them when I was 73 rc. Before that, I ran all my ess myself.
  4. @ Gifted, I train range on the lessers down by Elvarg. I usually hop around until I find an empty world. I've been alching since 80 mage, and been pretty happy with the exp/hour I get from that, but once I'm 85 smithing I'll probably start superheating rune ore. 99 fishing will come eventually, probably when I'm bored of other stuff, lol. Thanks everyone else who posted, especially verie :P
  5. @ Jimmy, the skirts weren't advertised as being f2p-tradeable, it was just a bug. I honestly forget how I found out that I could get em, but I don't regret wasting a bank space on them. I'm going for ~35m cook exp next, then probably 99 range. @ Spoof, the skirt doesn't give any extra mage bonus, just the same as a blue skirt. I'd gotten the (g) hat like a year ago when some pure died at lessers, and I just wanted to complete the set .
  6. I got the rares in early rs2, all of em for a combined ~45m or so if I were to add up what I paid. I can't wear the skirts. First it said I had to do the quest, and now they just say "member item". Oh, and I still owe a friend 9.4m cash that I'd borrowed to buy alches. I gotta sell off the lobs once I cook them to pay him back.
  7. Decided against having any type of party, just wanted the level. Got that along the way, I still have like 4m more exp banked. Arrows are: Iron, mith, addy Ore is coal, logs are willow Yeah I have a lot of random stuff in there, like so many different food types. I'm not needing more space atm, but I'll just drop stuff when I need to. { Before anyone points out the proselyte skirts and calls me a p2per, the day they were introduced they were tradeable to f2pers, so I had a friend pick me up some of them. To my knowledge, I'm the only pure f2per who has them. }
  8. you'll have me passed by the end of summer
  9. I left my bank in rs1, thinking that rs2 wouldn't catch on, or something. I lost a couple mil worth doing that, mostly just cash and raw materials... but I've recovered nicely.
  10. I thought I pm'ed you about Reneinkehra earlier, that he's been p2p
  11. nice stats :) I should be catching up to you once I train combat
  12. I did well over 30k clicks just to get 81-83 crafting. (tanning & crafting) I wouldn't want to guess how many total clicks I've registered in my entire RS life.
  13. I find that money goes a lot further in f2p as (I've heard) it does in p2p. Training gear costs 200k plus whatever food you decide to use, while in p2p the best gear costs upwards of 8m. The primary money-draining f2p skills are smithing and crafting, while p2pers have members have herblore, construction, etc. I'm not saying making money in f2p is easy for everyone, I'm just saying that we don't necessarily need as much as the p2pers do. I personally made most of my net worth from merchanting in early rs2 and buying some rares while I still have. When I need small bits of cash, I'll go out pking and get a few rune sets to sell off, or I'll rc a bunch of airs (7x airs is quite handy). Yes its much harder to get cash from skilling, since our best drop is a rune large. Members can get 3rd age items, barrows, etc which are worth millions & millions, plus crafting natures can result in a huge amount of cash.
  14. If I had (a lot) of real life friends who played, it might be cool. However I don't, so I'm pretty much going to agree with everyone else that I plan to omit this application  I'll stick with the music app which is pretty much a free unlimited music player.
  15. 3-hit pking, if even for a day or two. I'd like to see how all the rs2-pkers would adapt to the original pk style. Having Thrandor around again would be nice though.
  16. hi Aura, Welcome to Tipit 8-) (gained 2 levels in the past 24 hours :o )
  17. Oh wow, I used to subscribe to that magazine. I wonder if that interview would be in the print version as well. Andrew didn't really say anything too surprising in the interview that we didn't already know, but it's good to see Runescape is getting a good amount of attention.
  18. bx f00l is 77(?) combat, and he's 99 hp. 99 str, hp, range, and mage.
  19. I started playing in the spring of 2003, around March. I remember being in the top 90k players when my total was like 800. I didn't really pay attention to high scores until rs2, so I could've been higher than 90k.
  20. 105 combat, next melee level will get me 106. I'll get 90 mage and maybe 79 smithing for the big 1300. Link to top 200 f2pers
  21. I have no idea what we'll get, but if I was to request an update, it would be either more bank space or an increase of available magic spells (snare, enchant rings). edit: Or an official top f2p high scores list, listing top 500 or so.
  22. between 5000 and 6000.
