I'm a huge fan of anything performed by Godspeed You! Black Emperor... East Hastings and Moya are two of my favorite.

There's a ton of concept art created by fans of the movie, that's just one example of it :P I've been looking forward to see this movie since July, there was a huge craze on the imdb boards about this movie that was quite entertaining, since absolutely nothing was known about it. Monster ideas ranged from a big lion to (my favorite) cthulthu.

There's a 0% chance that we'll get the entire skill, most likely it'll be like runecrafting or prayer, where we only have access to like 25% of the trainable methods.

I don't really see why anyone would have a screenie of Syz's account recovery screen. Your friend just has to accept that he's pure f2p, lol.

Before the billing update a month or two ago, you could go to the 'account recovery' page and input a person's name to see if they'd been p2p in the past. If the account recovery page asked for billing information, p2p pin, etc., then the person has been p2p before. While that system was in place, all the names were checked to make sure they were actually pure f2p. So even if you can't check them to be 100% now, majority of the names on the list have been checked in the past. There are at least two people that I know of that have been caught using that method, so, yeah its possible that some people obsessed about the top f2p list so much that they got p2p just to train f2p skills, but it's not a common occurrence at all.

It'll completely depend upon the benefits that summoned creatures will give us. If they suck at defense, then you probably won't be seeing tanks getting high lvl summoning. But let's say you can summon something like a rhinoceros, which would presumably have high defense. Then you might be seeing tanks getting the lvl to summon it, and take on the extra combat levels.

Doesn't it just refer to a trimmed skill cape versus an untrimmed? If you can wear 2 capes, then you're rewarded with a new cape, a trimmed one.

I'm pretty sure its a bison. [hide][/hide] ^ real life bison. You can see the horns, and hump-thing on the upper part of its back, toward the head. Now compare those body figures to this: and you can see quite a few comparisons. edit: at above post... that's probably a better match lol. Even the poses are (kind of)similar. [hide][/hide]

I personally hope that it's not for f2p. Not because I think we do or don't deserve it (it's not a matter of who deserves it more), but because I simply enjoy the way f2p is. Some of the rs1 f2p legends are still on the f2p list, even well after they've retired, people like Galaxyg and Mendark 9. If summoning is f2p, all the great retired people will be pushed off the f2p list, to be practically forgotten by the new additions to the list. F2P has barely changed at all since its rs1, and that's how I like it.

Amazing job Trapical. This was probably the best thing I've seen on these forums in ~5 years. I've seen this idea spread to another forum already, and they raised over $500 for the same cause. I'm sure many people will have a merrier Christmas thanks to all these donations.
