The reason your name wasn't on the list is because no one told me to add it. I don't go through the highscores looking for f2pers; majority of the names have been posted here by other people. Your name will be on the list for the next update, assuming you still have you required level.

Most members couldn't survive in the f2p world.... I can't count the number of times my p2p friends have said they'd quit if they had been pure f2p as I was/am. Plus, I've seen so many damn "f2pers are noobs" posts on these boards that I know my friends aren't alone. And if you think a quest cape will bring any type of respect, I feel sorry for you. (and btw, most of p2p skills involve a lot of grinding. so your last sentence applies to p2p as well ;) )

I'm another pure f2per that uses these forums, and this topic made me lol. Unless you've been pure f2p for quite a while, you wouldn't understand why someone would choose to stay a nonmember. Everyone has their own reason for not becoming a member, and it doesn't matter whether or not you agree with their decision because it's just a game. I personally have been able to afford membership since I started playing in 2003, but I liked both the simplicity of f2p, and the constantness (if that's a word). Since rs1, f2p has barely changed, which I really liked. There weren't any weird new updates to have to just adjust to, except for rs2 & rc of course. F2P is much more of a challenge too, compared to p2p. I don't want to play some stupidly easy game where it takes very little effort to gain good stats. Judging by some of the replies on this topic, it proves it doesn't take a genius to do well in p2p. Plus I never thought RS was worth $5/month to me. What's the point in paying money when an enjoyable, free version is available? Very few of the skills seemed interesting to me - the expectation of Summoning pushed me somewhat toward membership, but once it came out it seemed pretty lame. Being p2p does not lessen the wastefulness of playing runescape. Just because it takes less time to get level XX in a stat, it doesn't mean you spend less time playing runescape. Playing runescape, whether f2p or p2p, is a waste of time in the end. But if it makes you feel better by spending money to play it, more power to you, lol.

Nice to see tks' name on the highscores : She was #1 when I started playing, so that name will always stick in my mind. When bb6 was powerfishing in Lumby, I used to steal the fishes he dropped and hoped he wouldn't get angry lol. Thanks for the classic pictures punk, they bring back some nice memories :thumbup:

Bale said he would be willing to do a 3rd movie only if Nolan directed it, but I haven't heard anything Nolan said about another sequel. If they do make a 3rd one, it probably won't be for like 3 years, since Bale is still filming the Terminator movie, and he has 2 additional movies to film after that.

I've been following The Watchmen since the director put up a blog/video journal thing last fall. I personally loved 300, so I kept a close eye on what Snyder would be doing next, then this popped up. I doubt the movie could live up to the graphic novels' reputation, but I think the movie will be a hit.

As impressive as 97rc is, he's 'only' 1297 total. I think mauranius was referring to being the 4th f2per to have max skill total, not 99 rc.

I just got back from seeing it, and even after being hyped up for it since last year or so, it far surpassed my expectations. I knew Bale and Ledger would be great, but Aaron Eckhart's performance as Harvey Dent really impressed me.

I'm just as excited to see the attached trailer for "The Watchmen" as I am to see TDK. I've been waiting for TDK for such a long time, and "the watchmen" for almost as long.

I'd never lend out a wearable rare to someone I didn't know, with or without the lending system, and I'm sure the same goes for a lot of other people. The price of rares shouldn't be affected too much, but then again, the entire rare market is controlled by pure speculation.

Thanks for all the replies : Not sure if I already explained the proselyte skirts on this topic, but they were tradable to f2pers on the first day they came out, so I had a (p2p) friend buy em in p2p and trade to me in f2p. I haven't been a fan of melee stats since rs2 came along. I kind of liked pking in rs1, when you could 3 hit people. My stats were like 60 att, 50 def, 72-ish str, which fared decently against the few non-autoed accounts out there. Once rs2 came along, people could run after 1 round, so I stopped caring for melee stats. Range and mage became my new favorite combat skills.

During the first month or so of FoG, i went up against 'sco 99 range' who at the time was ranked like 50th in FoG (atm hes rank 3). I ended up beating him by like 200 charges, and he was still even then complaining to me in the main area, so it's not just the low levels who whine and moan about FoG. I kinda felt sorry for him bc he got so worked up about it, lol. He's p2p also, which only shows that its not limited to f2pers : There's just too much immaturity around RS, and it will appear no matter what skill or minigame you're taking part in.
