The combat system is kinda simple, until you get to hybrid fights in pking on high levels. Hybriding is one of the hardest things in rs to do well. Hybriding is one of the few things that takes skill in rs, specifically tribriding. Tribriding is where you really can take advantage of the enemies weakness by switching attack styles. This not only requires you to switch weapons, but armour as well -- otherwise your hits go terrible. PvP does get pretty boring in normal fights though. Normal fights are better at lower levels -- look at all the combos you can do on a pure. You have GMaul combos, DDS, Dclaws, Dbow, PvP weapons, and mage combos are absolutely hilarious right now because most pures don't know them (triple stack, anyone?). Ancient staff works as a melee weapon and a mage weapon, gs... you can use almost ANY weapon on a pure. For mains at high level, a lot of the weapons are just simply trumped by other weapons, there aren't many good combos. Straight out GS, straight out nonskull DH, whip+dds, stuff like that.. it gets kinda boring. If you really wanna be powerful, you have to risk a ton or trick them, else people won't fight you. Or get lucky a lot. I prefer pure pking, but the loot is bad at that level usually too. Combat system could use a lot more at high levels, nuff said.

+1 for the locking, and the fact that it works. The thing is if you kill faster with zerker, archer, whatever. Wealth improves drops by 5% according to Zarfot's results. However, do you get 5% faster kills with another ring? And how much is the value of experience? I just stick to a fremmy ring usually because most of the time, I'm in a CC where I can get good drops, and ring of wealth doesn't affect it there. However, I've been trying ring of wealth at TD's, and it definitely makes a difference in charms there... but I'm just unlucky when it comes to drops, lol. Imo, Ring of Wealth is a religion. Choose to believe it or don't choose to believe in it. Only the cake is a lie.

Elysian and divine will probably not hit 100m, and if they do, have fun waiting months for it. Not suprised by the crashes though because those 10% raises started happening fast. But I don't think they're all gonna go very low. They ARE some of the best shields in the game, and some of the rarest drops around. Heck, with a 30 man team all using melee and almost all maxed stats thats constantly corping in a full world (no pausing for banking or luring), it takes like 12-24 hours for a sigil drop. Consider the fact that not even close to that many are usually in a team killing. It's gonna be like 24-48 hours of constant corping for another team to get a sigil, and thats no breaks of sleep. Sigils are SUPER rare. And not only that, but shields are going to hold their value because they are not lendable. If they were lendable, a lot of the value would have been gone already, most likely. A lot more people would be using them. Then again, it might raise demand because it would show how much the shields do own. So idk whats gonna happen, but shields will remain expensive, I do know that.

yeah, sgs is great and it has the most accurate spec in the game I'm pretty sure. I swear BGS fails, I was getting like 50-70 second kills with ags and like 2 minute kills with bgs -.- One claw drop will get me an sgs though :P If a Karil's Crossbow doesn't work as well as crossbow, theres no way MSB works well with rune arrows. Unless MAYBE you have void... but I'm pretty sure diamonds are better than MSB+rune arrows. Things like Paint.NET, Gimp, and GimpSHOP are free, but making a good banner takes a bit of time lol. You didn't use f4 and f6 before? Jeez. They help a TON, lol. Also, I started bringing addy defender here (couldn't get a rune defender drop in 30 minutes so I gave up) and it wins soooooo much for darklighting. Seriously, bring a rune defender--you almost ALWAYS get the demon's shield down on the first hit. What I do is for the first hits, I wear defender then don't reequip until I see the demon's shield regenerate. After all, when the shield is up, you're switching between 1 handed weapons, and the defender does nothing for you when the shield is down. When I started using wealth, I noticed the charm drops went way better as well. After all, charm drops are what I've come to appreciate, seeing that I don't have the luck that a lot of other people have (probably on like 1800 demons with 1 claw and 1 armour piece). Watch me take off the wealth and get a claw drop -.- I pot up every 2 kills instead of every 4 now, and it makes a HUGE difference. Kills are SOO much better now, and I'm only using like ... maybe 8k extra an hour or something. Anyways, the charms. The charms are one of the best things about this spot, seriously. Albeit I only get like 20k-30k summon exp per hour in charms usually, I profit a ton in the end. I'm probably gonna be doing this a lot for my summoning levels probably, lol.

Kinda logical that Dragon Pickaxe will come, after all it does deal with the Red Axe... Dragon is red, and pickaxe[/b]? Also, what do we relate dwarves to? Smithing and mining. Dragon Warhammer doesn't smith anything though, but maybe it will have something to smith with ..? But they already announced that they will have a Dragon Pickaxe soon. Maybe they'll both come out though :shock:

Okay, so I need Varrock Armour 2 to smith stuff on an anvil in varrock 10% faster, right? Or do I need 3 for higher stuff... I see in the tip.it varrock diary section that it says chance of faster smithing for 2, and I wanna know if you need Varrock Armour 3 for things like Adamant Platebodies.

Always stays until you kill someone risking 25k+ while you risk 75k+. You won't lose drop potential doing anything else except running from hotzone to safezone a lot (and that takes a lot of running from hotzone to safezone to do)

Sorry, but you're not the first. Someone had a very generous friend who bursted/barraged charms for both of them to get 99 summoning. (lootshare) Summoning Tanks and Summoning Pures are completely different. He is the LOWEST level with 79 summoning. Summoning tanks have defence and hp. So he IS the first summoning PURE with 79 summoning Btw, major grats on the 79 summoning :P Gonna post pics when I get home of what I downed yesterday, I joined Taco Limey's group but someone named Fr0st___N0va kept pjing me off when they had kills for me. But I did get a few kills without a single spec xfer -- 1 person for void cape and claws, 1 for torso whip cape, 1 for rune and cape, and a lot more. We downed easily over 100m in a couple hours of work together.
