  1. I believe the max f2p hit is 31 and not 32. I tried to hit 32 a couple of times now. Here is the picture: Seconded, I must have spent 10 hours over the past 2 years trying to hit 32.. (no thanks to reptile7363 :-# ) \ \ Grats on 99 Strength, u remember me? : *cough*big bones*cough*
  2. Good Job! Good luck. P.s. edit ur topic so its F2P 99 Crafting -.- *gets more views* :P
  3. Even though I don't know you, I feel happy that your real life is really beginning to take off. :) Best of luck to your future.
  4. Dark bow shoots 4 times everytime MSB shoots 5. Dark bow Special uses up the entire bar, giving you only a 50% added damage (not 50% extra chance to hit) for the doubleshot. (For staking, stakers only need to watch out for the special after which if it fails to k.o. will allow the stakers enough time to eat and regroup) [Doubt stakers will want to stake without food with this spec around] Some claim it can hit through armour, but what dark bow special ensures is only a sure-fire damaging hit, not any increased accuracy or hitting through armour (like what dharok was rumoured to do before) I am going to put my hand down and say the Dark bow update will not be nerfed. :uhh: (the longer it passes the less likely it will be for nerfing to take place)
  5. Very Well Done on 1300 Skill Total, considering you have so much xp in cooking. Where do you train for Ranging? Why not try the level 45 skeletons (fastest range xp in f2p) at crandor? For Magic, why not try your hand at superheating? Smithing Xp + Magic Xp all at one go, saving at the costs for gaining in smithing levels by combining the two, and faster than alching? (Will be a pain as you have to click train though) :-k From the feathers you have I see that you might be going for 99 fishing next after 99 Ranging, wish you good luck on that :)
  6. Make that 25M  Hohto got a dark bow drop Lol Creditted to Hohto Anyone know the old maximum for msb with pray and pot/ with crystal bow? That would be a good measure of the new maximum.
  7. Hey man  Just stopping by. Great stats of course.. P.s. Do get that right row of stats to all 99s before you move on from the game fully, that would be the achievement
  8. I am of the position that regret is something everyone feels a tinge of, surely, having played runescape, having missed out on opportunities in real life one could otherwise have gotten had he or she not played runescape. But of course the amount of regret one feels varies from person to person, and that is why we have people proclaiming NO, they do not feel regret at all :-w Personally the amount of regret I had for Runescape changed from time to time. 2 years ago I regretted wasting so much time on Runescape (despite having a proper social and school life), but now my perspectives on life have changed to that of a more mature O:) one, I would say currently for me I do not regret having played Runescape, but of course feel regret for the moments it has cost me :-# Now I am not going to be the one to stand out and like all before me say that Runescape has improved my computer knowledge, English, online social network, networking skills, marketing knowledge, bargaining techniques, reaction time etc. But I do believe that Runescape has been advantageous for me. Having said that I do believe this is one of the few rare inquisitive topics that are on-topic, so kudos to the thread starter :-w
  9. For me I have met many such new players but obviously they are getting less and less in terms of ratio.. 2 years ago I once had this player who came up to me for help in melzar's maze regarding getting through the doors and months later he comes up to me at moss giants and reminds me that he was that guy that I had helped! (only 10 levels below me then though.. #-o ) Unfortunately as we move on in Runescape it is like progress in society, our apparent lack fo time to slow down has caused us to miss out of many such new players. I particularly agree that many such players always quit very soon after they start, but maybe they leave not mainly because of the treatment they get but because they actually do not spend as much time as most runescape players do or they move on to another game to keep up their interest :notalk: When i first started i was that person, i remember going to the wiz tower and teaming up with another guy, we get other players to attack the lvl 40 mage and split his stuff, that was fun. That makes you and your friend tools, not nice players. If your talking to me im reffering to the guy i qouted, who says he met a nice newb who helped him kill players in the wizard tower and take their stuff. Oh sorry m8, didn't mean to misinterpret that. Perhaps what life_mage12 meant was that the new player was actually willing to help him work together in cooperation to kill the level 40 wizard, for the sake of fun and not for any ulterior motives. That could have been his interpretation of a nice newbie. Personally back when I was a newb I used to love asking people to go on giant ranging trips at edgeville dungeon in rsc to kill steal other players' kills for the sake of fun! Though this is not really related to the 'good newbie' topic but I feel this is probably what life_mage12 meant by fun, that was not making use of players as tools.
  10. There is no solution, for there never was a problem. If you say the solution is to remove rares someway somehow somewhat, then I say rares are the solution to the economy of Runescape. Enough said. Adapted from Xm3. :P
  11. yea.. theres just too many users for runescape to adopt the fansite markets forums policy..
