  1. Hey, if we all do it on the home world, that would be sweet. Make the thing easier to use, at any rate. EDIT: Runescape name is "Raichase". However, if someone notes this and abuses this, I'll flip private back to "off" :).
  2. If you don't like it, don't do it, but don't spam this poor blokes guide with your silly comments. To the author - Having finished the quest without the guide, I can tell you that this guide is very well done. Could have saved me a lot of walking, at any rate :). Awesome guide man, keep up the good work.
  3. Hey, if you can convince her to get back in to the barrel, I'll try it :).
  4. Pouches are for rune essence, which is used for rune crafting. The pouches themselves are members only, and non-tradable. Personally, I prefer getting money via skills, as it's a lot harder to get set back in (ie if you die while pking and can't revoer your stuff, then you're down Xgp). Whenever you make something out of steel, you get the same experience. Making 5 daggers will give you the same amount of exp as a steel plate mail. However, money wise, the best bet per bar is the short sword, then the two handed sword and plate mail armour. Thats gp/bar. For bronze (for example) short swords will net you 15gp per bar, and thats the best possible until 2h Sword (16gp per bar used), Plate Legs/Skirt (16gp per bar used) and the plate mail (19.2gp per bar used). It's the same for all the other metals. Also, when selling your wares, I always sell my smithed products to their respective speciality store, as they pay more for an item than the general store. In varrock, sell your swords to the sword shop (south of the general store). Helms go to Barbarian Village to be sold, etc. Use tip.it's map to find the nearest store of your chosen product. Plus, if the store already has 50 steel short swords, they will pay less for yours than if the store has 5. So, if you notice the store has a lot of stock already, throw it in your bank and try again later. You need runes, and the appropriate magic level. Teleporting is a lvl 25+ skill. Law runes are the most important rune needed. Unless you have a skull over your head, you keep your 3 most expensive items when you die. Stackables count as one object (ie you die with 3 iron ores and 500gp, you'll keep 3 iron ores, as they are worth more than 1gp). Yes, get your level up and work there, the scorps keep the low level powerminering automatic players away. Another option is skellie mine in the low level wilderness (again, grab a map) Search tip.it for "Rune Mysteries Quest" Smithing is your best bet at this stage. When you can mine and smelt gold, consider making some leather stuff to get your crafting up enough to make gold jewlery - it sells for quite a bit to a jewlery store. Welcome to runescape. Sometimes, no matter how good something is, you just can't get it, or sell it. Varrock, and other banks are your best bet, but you can also try selling your wares on the forum (have a look down the main page) Welcome to Runescape, ignore the jerks and have some fun.
  5. What about skill pures? Some people (I don't know why, but they enjoy it, and it doesn't affect me, so I'm not complaining) create level 3 accounts just to get a very high skill level. They might be level 99 fishing only, and nothing else. Thats still not a sure sign they are autoing. I'm very carefull, because I would rather get 5 autoers banned than 500 autoers+1 genuine player.
  6. Although, the problem is, some people work on skills in a set pattern, with chat off. A lot of people will rush in and report someone because they "think" they "might" be autoing. Which leads to honest people getting in trouble because they have a set pattern, and don't talk. I follow the same pattern when mining at Varrock, mine 4 rocks x times, then walk to bank, run back to rocks. I'm not autoing, I'm just skill raising. I keep chat ON, and listen to all the moronic jabbering and complaining, and respond when appropriate, simply to avoid being branded an autoer.
  7. Hehe, about 3 people at catherby with low levels, fishing sharks, with a gnome ball stuck to them :).
  8. Thats an awesome idea. I think I was there when that pic was taken, as I was wondering why all these low levels that look similar were wandering around with things on their hands...
  9. I don't know, but I suspect it has something to do with "they", and how they are controlling the world. "They" will come for you too one day. Be ready for them.
  10. Ah, but the problem is, it's free exp. There are very few skills that have something that uses the necklace slot, so this will be used a lot. If it had something to compete with, then perahps. As is, it's not going to work.
  11. Him being whom exactly? I need a name here... Unless someone knows whats happening, lets all move on - I don't know who doesn't like me, or who I'm supposed to defend myself against, if at all? Hooray for vauge generalisations such as "him" and "you". Love 'em.
  12. I'm getting confused now. Who's flaming who?
  13. ok seriously now your just flaming riachase.. chill out or leave And if you are planning to address me, I suggest at least taking the time to spell my name right. Why should I regard anything someone says to me, when they won't take the time to spell my name right... Besides, I'm not the one making pointless posts here, I'm rebuting ideas based on the idea of asking "why they should be included". Which is a lot more than most people bother posting.
  14. Oh, I'm holding my sides now. That was classic. Of course, after reading the post on the other page, I knew he was setting himself up. Thanks for the laugh  . If they are too bad to send in, why the hell do we want to hear about them?
  15. I find it rather amusing that this chaps trying to support his idea, which evidently wouldn't make it past the auto-reply if he sent it in to Jagex
  16. I'm just gunna stop you here. Great point, I like that. Seriously, thats the first time I've agreed with you :). Besides, this would make the game like Pokemon where you fight the monsters. *Raichase wields pokeball* "Go.... Ice Giant!" *Opponent uses Fire Giant* "Aww crap"
  17. But then everyone gets snare except rangers. How about, all rangers weapons are autopoisoned, AND their poison is so strong that it freexes their enemies to the spot. Yeah.
  18. What the hell is a vogon? Some kind of strange communist insult?
  19. On the first days of cook-X, we got up to 5 people in a maze cooking at Catherby. It was funny, you had people yelling crap everywhere. It was quite the spectacle.
  20. Touche. Ideas still pants though ;)
  21. No, I'm against anything that makes the game easier. Your idea, makes the game easier. Therefore, I don't like it.
  22. Excellent idea. Split them into two. Sure, you get problems. The solution to the problems, is rather simple - have an overall high score list, with an option to show only members, or only free to play. That way, the easiest way to check who is number one is still to display all, the way it is now, but the option is there for the other folks. It gets problematic when you get folks who HAVE been P2P, but went back to F2P. They would have gotten faster EXP on P2P, but at the time of the highscores being updated, they are F2P. Of course, one could make it "F2P, and anyone who has ever been a member", but then you end up with people who are F2P, who tried members once and didn't like it getting branded unfairly. Hmm, quite a tasty pickle we got ourselves. (In) Here, have a serve of irony.
  23. Why bother getting to 99 in a skill then, if you can do everything at lvl 98?
  24. A) Nope. B) I don't think you are in any position to judge other peoples ideas C) I don't even know what you are trying to say here. D) Nope. Sorry, Post Analyser 5000 found your post to be *worthless*, and it was rejected. Please consider a re-write and try again.
  25. The connection between your brain and your fingers clearly doesn't travel via the "common sense" waypoint in your head. I think it's broken, and needs a tuneup. Also, your sig is huge. I like big sigs when they are worth looking at, but that is... ugly.
