I encourage you to read... the last 6 pages. People with the lazy/apathetic views such as those above simply contribute to the problem. Blaming it on "game/society" does not defend an individual's choice to add to the disease. Using your logic a woman should never wear anything revealing since it would be her fault for inciting rape. Your example states that you should always pick up your arrows because it is not the theft's fault that they stole them. I just have to say that this defense is ridiculous. It works the opposite way in exactly the same manner so solves nothing. One thing that you have to take into account in your lucky/unlucky group is that ONLY lucky and unlucky people speak of their luck. How many times have you seen a thread that says "Look at my completely average luck!"? I would bet never. Lucky people want to "brag" and unlucky people want to "whine" but average-lucked people can only... nothing? You can't base a hypothesis off a group that is so incredibly biased. I think that everything you said is not true but if you had some way to poll 10k random people (and get HONEST answers) and used that "evidence" to back it up, I might consider it. No offfense, but all you have now is a flawed idea based off a biased group. ... now go get me those 10k peoples' drop rates! :lol: .... :( P.S. This is not intended to be anything similiar to a flame, by the way.

No problem, glad to help. I would not recommend the ring unless you have loads of cash to spare. It is a good ring but hardly worth the price tag.

Hop on a packed world (2 or 9 are decent) and kill the dogs east of the altar. You can safely mage/range/hally them over the fence or you can use prayer or food (close to cake stall) to melee them. The first kill will spawn before you can finish the second kill.

Some places do not allow cannons. Other than that you can use any type of slayer item needed AND use your cannon.

Climbing boots are 12gp. They are tradeable but you need to do Death Plateau to be able to equip them. They provide little defense but are great for training. Rune boots are a waste in my opinion. Their defense isn't that great and I would much rather use white boots (+1 prayer) if I need any more defense. Beserker rings are 3-4milish and give +4 str and +4 crush defense (might be slash). For the best results I would use the beserker ring on anything that does not drop items and a wealth for everything that does.

All colored gloves (same stats as leather gloves so use green vambs if you can) are from 500gp-5k depending on how hard the person is trying to make a profit. #-o I suggest paying no more than 1k-2k, if that.

Since cook-x all raw food (excluding sharks due to their high burn-free cooking requirements) are more expensive than the cooked form. The difference is usually 10-50gp each.

I have never seen a point to risking more cash than necessary... Also, the stronghold boots have the same stats... and are not great for mages or rangers.

You need to have finished or nearly finished DT to kill them. I do not believe that there are any safespots and the whole place is a death trap anyway. Fire bolt (especially with chaos gauntlets) is better xp anyway. If you did not know, Jagex has greatly nerfed the xp for crumble a few months ago. Without chaos guantlets fire bolt's average xp is 34.5 while crumble's is only 24.5. All signs point towards fire bolt. :D He/she means that they have 50k casts worth of crumble. In other words, they have the runes to cast it 50k times. :wink:

2-16 Hitpoints Boost 2-21 Defence Boost 2-9 Strength Loss 2-9 Attack Loss 2-9 Magic Loss 2-9 Ranged Loss It is percentage based so 2-9 equals 10% for example. I am pretty sure that it rounds up at .5 and down at anything lower. So 80 hp would most likely be healed 13 per dose (and "overheal" 13 as well I would assume).

Both of those are pretty decent xp and GREAT drops. If you want better xp and don't mind (much) worse drops, you should consider the rock crabs WAY north of camelot. Low defense, high hitpoints, and a pathetic attack. I would go with the arrows for fgs/drags and the knives for rock crabs, personally. Knives are much better xp-wise but have less accuracy than a MSB.

Glad I could help. Here are a few extra cannon tidbits of advice: 1. Alching "lags" your cannon so do not do this (other than alchable drops) unless you want to greatly lower your xp. 2. Use your cannon for slayer! It greatly speeds up slayer tasks and you will recieve the same range xp anyway so you might as well get the slay xp. 3. Do NOT buy c balls. Why? Because steel bars (or iron/coal) are much cheaper and pretty decent xp. Unless you plan on using 10k or so c balls very soon this is probably your best choice for cash and xp. 4. Let that cannon DECAY! You can always get a 100% free cannon from the dwarf who sells cannons north of falador. If you do not intend to leave soon, then pick it up and redeploy it (this starts the decay counter over). If you are full of good drops and you don't want to discard any of them simply leave your cannon there (after it uses up it's stored c balls just in case you get an even better drop). If you plan on immediately returning you should pick it up, redeploy it, bank, and return (provided that it isn't miles away from a bank). This allows you to bring an extra 4 pots/food. If this is the last time that you will be using your cannon for a few days/weeks then this leaves you FOUR free bank slots! With a bank as full as mine, those 4 spots are priceless.

DO NOT NAME NAMES!!! Even of low life scammers. The rules (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=1150) will give you the complete reason but I understand why you want to warn people. Just don't do it here, though. I would suggest asking (VERY nicely) the next pmod that you see if you can add them (explain why as well). They have the power to cause mutes which would prevent these scammers from scamming. The thing that you have to remember is that pmods are players too so you should NOT expect them to drop what they are doing and sprint to your location. Just ask them if they have the time and thank them anyway if they do not. This is far from fool-proof but it is just about the only way to get a chance at immediate action. Reporting them was correct and encouraged so always do that as well as asking (politely) for a pmod's help.
