Sad to think of another person leaving. While an obsession is unhealthy you cannot consider your time wasted if you had fun. Otherwise skiing, biking, chatting, jogging, etc. are all wastes of time since they provide you with nothing more quantifiably valuable than you started (other than perhaps a few sore muscles in some cases :P ). If you DO feel that it has become an addiction then you are correct to quit, of course. Get p2p NOW!!! I don't know why people say that you should get "respectable" levels first! It is CRAZY! Everything in p2p is SO much easier to raise. Your first priority should be agility and then quests. JOIN US!!! :lol:

I have heard that people have been having the same issues so I think that it may be a hidden update or a possible bug.

Pkers have always preferred higher damage over higher accuracy so I think that range "pures" will probably start using prayer while mage "pures" will not. The first prayer will give you only 1 more combat level while boosting your offense by up to 5 more levels. I think that the first and second prayer will be rather common but not the best one. Just my opinion though, of course.

Small price fluctuations are common during updates of any nature. The ones that have the largest impact on the price of a rare are Mass Bans and updates on the scale of a new skill. Other than mass bans (which always drive the price up) you cannot predict whether they will go up or down. A generally good idea is to figure out whether the update will cause people to BUY things or to SELL things. If they are buying new things then the prices usually fall and vice versa. The best you can do boils down to guessing. I would suggest buying rares during the next major update since the price should fall. If you can only afford one, then buy it as soon as possible. Why? Because a single investment isn't as dependant on the daily market fluctuations. As long as Jagex does not do something insane when it comes to rares (delete them or make them untradeable for example), which is not likely at all, your investment is assured to increase in value over the months.

I do not think that the eye of gnome has a use (yet). The weapon is called "fixed device", shoots colored frogs anywhere and at anyone, and does zero damage. It is from one of the elf quests I believe.

+4 slash attack and defense. It runs around 850kish last time I checked.

It opens a chest in Taverly that contains an uncut dragon stone and a few random items. The worst extra thing that you can recieve is a spinach roll or nothing and the best is rune bars or another half key.

This person is a genius! Agility is really the only skill that you can benefit from once you return to f2p. Take a break from it to check out some of the mini-games when you get bored and then return to those courses! Most of the other skills will not provide you with a large benefit. You may want to take some time to steal loads of cakes from ardy since you can use them on f2p for training.

+9 is the max possible boost. Runescape incorrectly posted that the evil stew and construction tea combined. They have taken that down I believe. So your options are the assured +3 from tea or the random +6 from evil stews combined with the +3 from the crystal saw (which gives you the bonus but does not show on your stats). You can only use the saw's boost for things that require a saw so no rooms or monsters for example.

Fly fishing at Shilo. You can turn a small profit if you buy 50 feathers each run. You will only use half and you will only pay 2gp ea. By the time you hit your desired fishing level you will have loads of feathers to resell. As soon as you can do monks, do em. Huge xp for both cooking and fishing and pretty decent cash. I will never fish sharks again except for one to stuff. Lobs are a total waste of time. Slow xp, poor cash, and basically a joke all around. The people who say lobs haven't tried monks and/or haven't tried merchanting runes for cash (500-700k an hour). Lobs are just horrible.

With your stats I would suggest ranging or maging blue baby dragons. Easy xp and quick prayer xp. The best option would be to play PC with a clan. I have Affliction linked in the guide in my sig.

If you plan on getting members there is no point in waiting. Everything is easier and gp is a lot easier to acquire. I would suggest getting your agility up first and then merchanting runes for any new armor and weapons that you need. Once you are set-up go questing. :D
