I give you fantastic, major props for making that in...20 minutes? Wow! Anyway, I like it and I'll gladly take it...but is there any way you can make the greens and purples deeper, darker, richer type colors? If not, don't sweat it! I'm really grateful either way.

I can't believe you're even complaining about this. You 1) cursed at him and 2) insulted him...in the wilderness. He had you by almost 30 levels...and you're in the wilderness. So you cuss and him and insult him...and then you complain that he had the audacity to kill you. Moron.

The big flaw in this whole idea is the fact that the prices of drops aren't so much based on the respawn rate of the monsters as they are other factors. Unicorn horns aren't 1k per (not looking to argue on price, just using it as an example) because unicorn respawns are too slow. The black unicorns (in level 19 wildy above varrock) respawn faster than I can kill them. Now, assuming that is the fastest place to get unicorn horns, they don't cost the assumed 1k because of the respawn time of the unicorns. You could argue that they cost that because of the distance from a bank, the wildy factor, and the lack of xp gained (making it menial work) driving up the cost. And, all other factors aside, the simple fact that the monster respawns 30% faster doesn't mean the price of the drop will go down that percentage...if at all. You have to consider the net time spent: the time spent waiting for the monster, but along with the time taken getting to the spot and banking...and even the time spent killing the monster. When considering all that, the respawn time will mean little if nothing on the prices of drops. At least that's what I think. :wink:

You misunderstand my statement. I thought it was fantastic you were having a drop party to celebrate your slayer level. I thought it was fantastic that you were going to do it at a place that noobs can't access, making it better for all the decently high players who could come. I had no problem with that, or with you. All I was arguing was semantics. Most people weren't doing the quest because you had "inspired" them to do so, they were doing it for the drops that they might receive. In that sense, they were being motivated to do it for a "material" gain...bribery if you will. In that I have an issue. Not with you, not with your drop party or its location...just a slight issue with wording.

Sorry, but I gotta take issue with that. You talk as though you're some valiant war hero or a champion for human rights. You didn't inspire anybody to do the quest...bribed would be much more fitting.

I take offence to that... im 15 years old I only have 3 main friends and i have never had a girldfriend.. but does that make me a bad person? I play rs about 3-5 hours a day after school and about 8 hours a day on the weekend.. oh and over the summer i played about 15 hours a day... Your only 15. Some advice from someone who has been playing this game all throughout high school. Stop playing for a couple years, dont let runescape take your life over. I used to play everyday, 5 hours a day minimum when I was about 14. I became a loser. I did this for about a year until I started hanging out. Runescape isnt even close to "fun". Go chill with some buddies, get to know people, and play runescape CASUALLY. It isnt worth wasting your high school years on a game. I had the best time in high school and I highly recommend you try to have a good time cause when you get outta school your regret every single moment you werent with your friends. By the way, im 18 now. Just stop playing so much Who care's what others think of you at school? I know I don't. You should do what you like to do, not force yourself to be "cool". You misunderstand. To spend all your free time on a game of some of the freest years of your life would be a total waste. You'll look back on it and find yourself disappointed that the culmination of the past few years of your life is a character on a game. Go out and meet people. Spend your time socializing and experiencing things in the real world. Play RS. Enjoy it. But don't let it take over your life. Play it, when and only when there's nothing to do with your friends. Don't wait for something to materialize. Rs should be your last resort for entertainment, not your first. I play. I play a lot. But I do it, like the majority of people, when I have nothing to do. My weekends are rarely occupied with rs. That's not "cool" as Nadril said. That's healthy.

This is...the single greatest thing I've ever read on these forums. This has always been a pet peeve of mine and...unsurprisingly, I always receive the same responses you mentioned. I love how people are so coldhearted as long as whatever is going on doesn't involve them. No matter what horrible hardship happened to the person, no one seems to care unless it's them. 69 herb, man. It might not be much to the godly runescape players, but it's pretty darn good. And I don't know why he'd post those. Maybe a misconception based on some noobs selling at a few banks and he assumed that was the standard price? I don't know. I didn't post that they were wrong to insult him, but in hopes that he'd look into it and try and correct them.

Check the date when the guide was made. June 2005. Big deal. I was a member since before then, and ranarr prices have never been 3k. And all herbs above ranarr are not worth 4k+. Irits are 2.1k maximum and avantoes can be bought for 1.5k-2k. So as I said, way off. I bet if you search hard enough you can find those prices. Especialy forums. OR desperate people. Yes, but you don't post the prices of morons and the desperate as what the market price is. I've sold laws for 10k and d longs for 150k, but I don't go around saying that that's the price of them. The point is that this is supposed to be a money making guide, and half the prices are inaccurate. Pretty dumb if you ask me.
