  1. That's a relatively recent one, I like her looks a little better in the older ones. Maybe because they were all there was with her in them when I saw her. It was mostly Elf that did it (singing in the shower scene specifically).
  2. I haven't seen any good deals yet so I won't be going out anywhere special to get anything. My comic book store is have a 40% of everything sale though (uncommon, but not special to this day, happens like 3 times a year) so I might try and go there before work.

I did those a long time ago, only a few times though. Transporting the PC was just too much of a hassle. It was pretty fun.
  4. Yeah I first heard about this when I first listened to Commentary! The Musical about a year ago. It was an OK game.
  5. How was it unexpected? It was basically revealed in the first episode.
  6. I despise escort missions. I would not miss them at all.
  7. Animals are not humans, therefore they don't have rights. I don't like seeing animals suffer in any way, and I think it's bad when people hurt them unnecessarily, but there is no moral wrongness with anything done to an animal.

I wouldn't count PBF as one you read since it hasn't been updated in years. Webcomics: Daily: Married to the Sea, Cyanide and Happiness Mon-Wed-Fri: XKCD, Ctrl-Alt-Del Sunday: Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles Catching up on: Dinosaur Comics (currently at October 31st, 2005) Then actual comics which just happen to be on the web: Fridays: FreakAngels Tuesdays: Heroes
  9. Once I post a pic you'll see why I don't, I look like an idiot.
  10. I'm participating in no-shave November, which is really shouldn't since my beards always look stupid. I'll post a pic December 1st right before I shave.
  11. Ink Deluxe Package. I got the Blu-ray signed by the writer/director Jamin Winans, the 16"x24" poster and a medium T-shirt. It was $42 after shipping and handling. You can get either Blu-ray or DVD, and any size shirt. It's all the same price. Of course you can order stuff individually also.
  12. The only thing you can really do is try it in every different player you have. If it works in one of them, figure out someway to copy it as quick as possible. If not you are screwed. Supposedly DVDs only have a shelf life of 3-5 years. I think that number is low, I have quite a few older than that that still work. Actually not any that don't. Oh, and look for scratches on the top side and near the inner ring. The data is actually closer to the top under the sticker/paper whatever it is. The inner ring most likely has the file structure data, and that could screw up 1/4th of the disc if scratched.
  13. Why would she stay dead if anyone else turns out to survive? She was neither the first nor the last to die, and was not out of the way or anything. In this situation it is either all or nothing. It would be awesome if every main character stayed dead except one (probably Rush) who went back in time and managed to bring the creature back to the ship to heal the rest. I don't think a show has done anything like that before; killed off most the main characters this early in the series and all at once.
  14. Yep, they always do 14 a season (Two 7 episode sets).
  15. A decent copy of Uncanny X-Men #94 (rare in itself) signed by Chris Claremont, Bob McLeod and Len Wein. A SEGA Nomad (seriously, you never see these anywhere). The 50 state collection of Pogs (yes, those little cardboard circles that were popular in the early 90s).
  16. As far as I can tell there are two dead timelines now, and we will be seeing the third. That's what pisses me off about time travel so much, it hardly ever makes sense.
  17. Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain - The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain is probably my favourite romantic comedy ever.
  18. I don't know about interstellar, that seems pretty unlikely in a few decades, it would give a better chance of being interplanetary though.
  19. [bleep]ing time travel [cabbage]. I hate it!
  20. The complete series, it was only $92 so I figured why not.
  21. Ink - This movie hit the net last week (you can tell, the MOVIEmeter on IMDb has it up 81,093% in popularity this week) but I just got around to watching it. I loved it, although it was a little slow at the beginning. I didn't know exactly what it was about so earlier this week when I started to watch it I got 5 minutes in and was a little bored, and put it off until today. So it is possible I liked it so much since I didn't expect much. Anyways, I just spent $42 purchasing the deluxe bundle from their website. The movie actually isn't out yet, but when the creators saw that it was on the net and being spread illegally by tons of people, they said they didn't mind. They just put a link at the top of their page for donations "if you watched it online and would like to contribute what you can". I'm sure they are going to make a [cabbage] ton more money doing this way than releasing it normally with no one ever hearing about it.
  22. Heh, I thought it was a pretty good stoner movie. Yeah, the end didn't really have all that much getting stoned wise but it still had some funny parts. Plus the movie has Amber Heard in it and she is hot as [bleep] (really looking forward to her playing Chenault in The Rum Diaries)
  23. It would be nice if all the idiots who thought this was going to do something catastrophic to the moon would come back and remember how stupid they were for worrying. Seriously, people on this board need to stop listening to fear mongers in the media (see also: vaccination topic) and realize that they aren't nearly as smart as the scientists who work on this stuff. EDIT: OK, off of the rant now. It's pretty cool that they found water on the moon. This actually gives legitimacy to building a lunar base.

I don't think you understand the "[/thread]". is it safer to take a vaccine that may or may not be safe, or risk it out in the open against the feared H1N1? Personally, I think I'm better off fighting off H1N1 the way I have been for the entire epidemic. But I got volunteered to get the immunization, so I guess I'm getting it anyway. There is't really a "safe" choice. There is nothing unsafe with this vaccine (more than normal vaccines, which is a very very small percentage). EDIT: The above line might be confusing, I am saying there is nothing wrong with this vaccine that isn't wrong with every other flu vaccine, which is that a very very small amount of people may get a fever from them.
  25. South Park has a decent Republican base (called South Park Republicans  ) so I am glad that they will see this episode, and hopefully realize what a douche bag Glenn Beck really is.
